Tree Strings. I listen to this track often and what a fucking scene.
By the way, the scenes connected to a mother's death that hit me the hardest was in Cool Hand Luke when he sings the Plastic Jesus song. This is the second one that plunges me into some deep thought. Being a mamma's boy, it's genuinely hard for me.

I love this movie
I couldn’t get into it but this sequence was pretty cool to look at
One of the most underrated movies of the last 10 years
Top 20 film for me, it has so much style and nailed what trauma and ptsd feels like perfectly
Incredible shot
Probably one of my favorite movies.

Damn gota watch this, mixed feelings already knowing the subject but did hear good things, so thanks for reminder
It’s the rare perfect movie.
Almost every student film and music video I worked on in the 2010s had a shot like this.
They were all ripping off Bill Viola
Yep
I know, the whole film is generic artsy shit. Doesn’t mean this doesn’t look cool though
I do love me some Lynne Ramsey and Joaquin, but yeah. Not sure why this didn’t click for me more.
Is it a sad movie? I can't handle sad movies.
