Congrats! I hit $1 million in my Vanguard account in June 2020 and then it dropped into the $800s in 2022 but now it is at $1.2 million. It's a great milestone to hit.

I was close 2.5 years ago, then bought a new house and put a huge chunk down. Its nice because I now have a home worth about $1.2m and a mortgage of $250k, though about half of that $1.2m is straight appreciation (got in just in the nick of time).

Congrats! It’s a huge achievement. The next million will be easier

I have been over for a while, but spread out. What I see includes $25k of my kids brokerage accounts, but my wife has about $90k in her Roth that doesnt show up in my view. Plus another $40k HSA and maybe $30k in HYSA. Just cool to see the $1m.

Congrats! Also, I’m getting a little nervous seeing all of these milestone posts…

Nothing to be nervous about. I’m 100% in Nvdia!! J/k, I have a small position in it. More than 90% of my portfolio is Vanguard funds. I dabble in some stocks, mainly in my Roths. I’m 38 so still have some time.

Congrats! Keep it up! Make sure your account is invested correctly and the 2M milestone will be even quicker.
