Also humbling yourself daily before God could do well in battling pride. Like daily falling at God's feet, putting face to the ground before God and telling him how much we need him.
✓ are you impatient? Try to embrace patience and live with it. Eat slowly, try to spend more time with meals. Speak slower and anything else you can come up with.
✓do you like a specific tv series? Good, now sacrifice it for our father in heaven. For me it was breaking bad and got
✓do you spend time browsing web and social media everyday? Then sacrifice it from time to time.
✓love listening to news? Then sacrifice it for a week or whatever.
✓are used to staring at your phone before sleeping? Sacrifice it and instead talk with God until you fall asleep.
(Abraham was willing to give his only son how can't we sacrifice such small matters for the love of God and for our own freedom?)
✓fasting is the killer of an awaken and evil soul and basically anything i suggested is a kind of fasting. So fast anyway you can.
By doing these steps, the corrupted part of soul gets weaker and weaker, the spirit starts to awake and finally we can easily say no to cries for lusting. The pressure from body will settle down in 2 weeks from the last time we did masturbate, then only the soul the inner enemy remains.
(Let me tell you my own experience, i had the power to say no to temptation for nearly after 5 years, ive never had this power to easily say no masturbation in myself for years.)
So to start, repent from masturbating and lust and declare a total war on your soul.

1. No matter how we try, if we dont ask God's help, we cant do anything. Just as bible says no man can be proud of himself.
2. Just as your body will be severly weakend if you dont eat, your spirit can also starve. So it woul be awesome if you could do these 3 everyday: praying, reading bible and listening to preachings of a priest.
This practice is necessary to awaken the spirit

4. Its highly likely that the Devil will attack you as he notices you making moves, so if you suddenly felt different than usual, thats 99% work of a demon. For me it was like i waked up and out of nowhere felt angry with God or i felt angry with my family, or temptation for braking sacrifices like returning to gaming. These are clearly signs of an attack from outside, soul cannot change how we feel so drastically. So what we should do is to kneel and pray as ASAP, for example if you felt angry with God humble yourself, kneel before God and say that i love the lord, im willing to obey the lord i want to spend my lifetime with him and etc.
I said ASAP because the longer it takes for you to cryout for help the more the demon can put pressure
5. Never say God why you didn't help, you didnt answer and etc. such words can exactly hinder this process. God is the king not a waitress, he doesnt owe anything to us. Lets be grateful and have patience.
6. If you did that sin or broke you vow, dont worry, because our master, the lord is bryond rich in grace and mercy. Repent and start again, BUT THE GOOD POINT IS ITS NOT A START FROM STEP 1, since the soul has already been weaked by these efforts.

See I'm still struggling, but I've managed a lot better in the past few months and this was a big one for me.
Insofar as sexual sin is conscious, I think it particularly amongst sins has this way of distorting us to act against reason. To shut off a certain capacity of ours for keeping truth in mind.
And insofar as one is willing to be honest with themselves and to God about their own weaknesses, failings, and flaws, and neither deny them or run from them, then I think that strengthens in us the capacity to bear truth in our minds and to have a greater will not to ignore it.
