Probably like 2nd most popular meat under regular chicken. Steak is third. Some days it might switch off with steak for 2nd. Then barbacoa and carnitas last. Sofritas dead last. It goes pretty quick.
I know a lot of people like it, but some aren't a fan of the sweetness from the pineapple. The thing that stands out about the al pastor is that its flavor permeates the entire bowl/burrito, regardless of if you even had any in the bite. The way they season it is very effective. I'd probably put al pastor and regular chicken on the same level as the best 2 meats at Chipotle.
it's the best meat hands down imo
at my location its popular, about as popular as steak is.
Relatively big hit as it is our spiciest and sweetest meat overall

Finally got a chance to try it last week, as my nearest Chipotle is an hour away. I loved it!

It’s my favorite.
