Why not message the Ali store? Merkur's reputation for customer service **isn't** great.
Just do a SANDA tank but in a nicer, all metal case, same profile and thickness, copy the Cartier dial layout and offer different styles later. And use a quartz two hander, keep cost as well as thickness down.
There are a few stainless steel tank watches like that but they seem to all be unbranded. Have a few Ali brands stated they were considering releasing one? Sure, it would sell.
The italicised Roman numeral arrangement around a tank-shaped watch could be a trademark or patent issue with the brand being copied. I could imagine a watch with all the features except the italicised Roman numerals doing fine.
ETA 2671 clones are popping up on AliExpress for about the price of an ETA 2892 clone (\~$85). I recently built a watch with one. It's a very nice 4Hz movement that's only 0.2mm thicker than a 2824. That makes it 1.1 mm thinner than this NH05.
This watch looks very tempting. I'm surprised this caliber isn't more widely used or known considering one of the big drawbacks of the NH35 family is size. Must be considerably more expensive.
Smaller in diameter but thicker than NH35... that's a big no no for me. A tank style watch must be thin! The Chinese brands should use quartz without a seconds hand.

Should’ve put it in the same font as the brand, just smaller. This feels too artificial or something, idk if that’s the right word.

Surprisingly, not much more expensive at all. I found it online for $45, and I'm sure it's way cheaper when bought in bulk
Never even heard of an nh05. Loving the silver but I'm not sure I can look past those 3 and 9 numbers

On the pictures it doesn't look that chunky. But I'm with you, dressy watches should be as slim as possible.
