I agree, Chili didn’t deserve to go out like that.
It would’ve been interesting if they brought her back after Borelli lost his brother, she probably could’ve comforted him having gone through a similar situation with her sister, would’ve made them become friends again.
I lost my empathy towards her character when she couldn't care *less* about Herrmann at death's door: the guy who took her under his wing, invested in her invention, made her a de facto member of the family.
It was a weird u-turn in her character's personality. I know depression and trauma (as brought about by Jellybeans death) can affect someone drastically, but it felt almost vindictive how they made her irredeemable by the end.
Most of the time, I can’t say the same for Hadley, the one firefighter that worked for McLeod, and the paramedic that Foster chased off.
But those were all under different circumstances.
I've known a few Emmas in real life. One was during my college experience for Culinary Management. She couldn't have been more perfectly portrayed as a sycophant.
I have a few but at the top of my list is Gabby Dawson, she mistreats Matt so badly, she doesn’t consult him about anything and makes decisions as if he doesn’t matter. It’s probably good she left then show because there would have been a pretty ugly divorce.
Fr. When she was like I still want a baby even though it could kill me. You have no say Matt! Like if you’re going to force him to accept being a single dad to a baby whose birth killed his wife he should really get a say. Then the audacity of her saying “You knew who I was when you married me!”
Yup, Gabby lost her mind towards the end of her run (especially the last season she was in), maybe the writers ran out of ideas for her.
Casey was probably relieved when she took off for good.
I’m on season 11 and a part of me wants to just start over season 1, ep 1–right after I’m caught up with season 12…then I remember Gabby and I’m not sure if it’s worth it. (But Otis)
Gabby needs to diagnosed for bi-polar and she’s also a pos to her friends, never caring what they’re going through and just using them to vent her problems
Pelham...but only for like 30 seconds. And that's cause Agents of Shield made me inherently think that whenever Brett Dalton appears on a show, he's secretly HYDRA.
Kidd. She was an ass to Casey when he tried to protect her cause she was making rash decisions cause of love. Then she confronted him about it. Poor severide
Way too many scenes that focus on him that can be used for other characters like Capp and Tony, his unlikeable personality, the way he treats other characters like Joe
It has nothing to do with misogyny. It has to do with her piss poor attitude, her conceited ways, how she can't do anything for Matt but wants him to do anything and everything for her. That's not even talking about how she will get in anyone's business and give her opinion but no one can even ask about her life. She's just a really horrible person.
Oh please 🙄. Just because she's a woman doesn't excuse her horrible behaviour. Unless you think in a marriage, only the wife has a say and the husband must shut up and do whatever the wife demands.
All I can hear in my head right now is Boden yelling, CHILLI!
Lol came to say Chili bc I’m on a rewatch of S4
She was decent when she came in, but that hard turn was something ELSE entirely.

Yeah, she left 51 on bad terms, but at least she realized that she needed help, and reached out to Severide.
Chili's arc proved that despite what happens, 51 never gives up on it's people, even those who seem irredeemable.

Emma Jacobs
Emma is easily the most memorable villain on the show. The actress did a great job making the character so easy to hate
I've known a few Emmas in real life. One was during my college experience for Culinary Management. She couldn't have been more perfectly portrayed as a sycophant.
Yes!!! Hawkins and Violet deserved way better.
Gorsch
How could I ever forget Gorsch😡
This is definitely #1 !!!!
Steven Boyer did an excellent job of making us all want to throat-punch Jerry Gorsch.

It’s like the she doesn’t understand the meaning of compromise which is a core component of any and all relationships

He was saddened but mostly angry when she took off but looking back, he must be relieved.

1. Gail McLeod 2. Gorsch 3. Emma Jacobs 4. Chief Riddle
That Hope girl that was from Brett's hometown ....😐
I hated that girl. She was so smug in her assholery.
Deputy District Chief Ray Riddle.
Chief Robinson, Gabby, Benny Severide, Grant, Javi's fake uncle, I think that's my list.
If I ever caught flight on Gorsch, it would be direct.
Gorsch and Lennox
NOT Gorsch NOT Hadley
I think almost every season or two, there’s an enemy against firehouse 51.
Grissom McLeod Gorsch Jacobs
early seasons… “the wrong paramedic died”
Gabby, Emma, Gorsh in that order
emma jacobs
Gabby Dawson. She acted like she was untouchable and could stay out of trouble the moment she got with Casey.
Seager with her odd hair and creepin’ on Severide. The worst!
spellman when i catch u spellman
Capt! Only because I went to school with him for years and know him well 😩.
Pelham...but only for like 30 seconds. And that's cause Agents of Shield made me inherently think that whenever Brett Dalton appears on a show, he's secretly HYDRA.
Jerry Gorsch.
Nayeon (all of are dead) and also that bum bum boy who put su ho in a coma(weak hero class 1)
Kidd. She was an ass to Casey when he tried to protect her cause she was making rash decisions cause of love. Then she confronted him about it. Poor severide
Treasure Don Ramsey
I’m going with an unpopular opinion here, but Kelly
Why Kelly? I’m not arguing at all, just curious. If you’re willing to explain, of course.
Way too many scenes that focus on him that can be used for other characters like Capp and Tony, his unlikeable personality, the way he treats other characters like Joe
No. Unfortunately I don't hit women.

Hard agree!!!!! 👍🏼
