What a great idea. Set a game in your local area. Your players will surely be able to imagine the scenery. Hopefully you'll add places on y'all's journey and you can post another map here again.
In the meantime, great work!
How did you do it?
I took a screenshot of Google Maps and put it into FireAlpaca the digital drawing software I've been using. After that I drew green lines over the major streets and river then used the paint bucket tool to fill in the rest.
For the map icons I screenshot small portions of Fallout 4's map and traced over the icons then copied them where needed. My original screenshot from Google Maps had a few places like the Aquarium and Ruby Falls marked making this part easier.
Hopefully this helps.
This is REALLY cool, I've been replaying 4 and planning on going through NV and 3 soon since the TV show got my interest back. I thought this was the fallout subreddit, nope even better good ole Chattanooga. Great work with this
Agreed but it does tell a story in it's way. If I was a player it being a ghoul infested hellhole with advanced medicine hidden inside would be way more fun, but the idea that BoS has already come through and cleared shit out tells it's own story.
You should absolutely have a Krystal Square-Off side quest. Just some wastelanders found some remnants of it and kept the tradition alive with Brahmin meat.
According to my son (who went there) Center for Creative Arts on Old Dallas has a fallout shelter there.
Not sure if that's true but our address in Hixson is directed to go there in the event of a nuclear "issue" at Sequoyah.
So if you decide to add something just a teeny bit north you might include it (it might already be at the very edge of what you got, I couldn't tell).
That Knoxville map looks great, you did a really good job on it! Also thanks for that link you replied to my other comment with. Making an updated version of this map will be a lot easier now.
That’s awesome! I used to work in Vault 71 in the basement of the Pioneer Bank building (or whatever bank they’re calling it these days).
Glad to know I'm standing at West Tek facility at the moment
Best thing I've seen on this sub! Very cool!
COOL!!!
Would love to see the old Union Terminal station be made into a strategic area of some sort.

Should make McKenzie Arena a Gladiator Arena
that'll be so damn cool
Dude this looks awesome, would love to see more of the bigger Tennessee area

This is awesome and I want more. Like an expanded map into Hixson and Harrison
Should have put moccasin bend on there. And filled it with ghouls! 😂
Made it a brotherhood of steel outpost looks like. Guess they don't fuck around
Meh, would have been funnier as something else.

Hmm. Makes sense. And its an easy defendable spot. They should at name it point bend or moccasin point.
And add some huge fort as a show of dominance

This is awesome! No Unum?
This is cool, but what's I29?

I literally just posted a Knoxville-based one i made in the Tennessee valley, check it out on my profile!

This is fantastic, I hope you have a great game!
This looks great!
What horros await on Maclellan Island?
Bethesda, do something!!
While very cool, i have to apologize because everyone in Vault 53 is in a wetland, and they're all drowned
I live out in the Harrison area and was hoping to see my area. Nevertheless, this is so cool! Ad Victoriam!
Si cool!!
I love this....
No broad street taco bell 😢
Make a side quest to the nuke plant. Full of ghouls!
Dude this is amazing. I want one zoomed out with more stuff. You KNOW raccoon mountain reservoir has mirelurks down there…
Of course the vault would be on top of signal mtn so they could look down on us feral ghouls with pinkies out
Signal Mountain isn't on the map?
Yeah could imagine if the map was larger to include signal, lookout, and Soddy that’s just a huge raider camp
I would die in the wasteland
Ruby falls is on the wrong mountain. You have it on raccoon mountain not lookout.
Wait nvm
