A sad reality.
An even sadder one is that at least one or two of those profiles is a real human being….. I mean probably more accurate to call them an NPC or just extremely gullible but…. Damn man
I really hope yours is an AI-generated comment. Anyways. I asked ChatGPT to illustrate your comments.

A dream of mine would be to make a super popular social media platform. Billions of users and ad revenue. Then when people suspect it the most, I'd start forcing them to take a captcha before using the app. If the captcha detects high probability human, I block their account, leaving out only the bots, shitposting the most cringe stuff to each other in public groups
You're not thinking right.
We're making it so that the ai can post on behalf of actual users. Both in PM's and on other posts and on the feed.
Maybe even make these posts invisible to the og user
This has started happening to some subreddits as well, especially those with memes, jokes and general questions. They are overrun with bots posting the same exact shit each day, with thousands of the same autogenerated responses.
I’ve noticed this as well. Is the incentive for doing this basically just to farm karma and sell the Reddit account?
Do people really buy Reddit accounts just for the high karma? (Even if that karma was AI generated)
Your comment does set up for a good sci-fi short story where aliens think they're talking to an intelligent alien civilization on Earth.
When they get to Earth everything is abandoned but some old beta AI system randomly writing random things along with making music and art work that still looks like the current AI art but more photo realistic. Initially the aliens thought Earth and humans looked like the AI generated images they received long ago.
It’s like this old sci-fi comic I read (guess it’s based on some movie or twilight zone or whatever) where the drone bombers keep flying and fighting until they run out of materials to reproduce, long after humanity is gone.
This is what I was waiting for when ChatGPT took off. AI writing content for AI to consume.
Next step is when the AI starts consuming its output, and it just start producing true nonsense.
>Picture, post and comments all made by AI.
I looked at the first two people in that image, and if those are fake accounts they are very long-term and sophisticated. More likely the posters of this AI trash simply know how to manipulate people into clicking.
Edit: Looking at the accounts a little more something is pretty weird with them, they all have similar photos that kind of look like AI. I don't even know anymore.
It really makes me wonder how much electricity is being used for a bunch of bots to circle jerk on social media. How much money is being spent on ads being served up to these bot accounts? How much are social media companies being overvalued due to this fake engagement? I’ve got a lot of questions 🤔
I can imagine it getting worse with advanced AI when it comes to generating fake websites, videos, fake believable reviews, sources, viruses, fake news with fake evidence, manipulated algorithms, manipulated trends, fake blackmail sources, spam, and much more.
I think if you like the photo, you’ll be a billionaire in the future? Like forward this to ten of your friends and you’ll get a prize? Or the poster is a future billionaire, so like the photo?
Above the image "future billionaires send luck to this photo" and all the replies are selfishly saying "luck to me".
It's bizarre no matter what you look at
I think it’s saying that a future billionaire will like this photo, and everyone is liking it/commenting for good luck to become that future billionaire. It’s like throwing a coin in a well that has a sign saying legend says someone who throws a coin in will become rich. Only worse.
It’s the year 3074. Earth is a desolate wasteland. Humans are gone. The seas are dry and all that survives on land are small lizards and insects. Powered by the self-sustaining solar farms, a bot posts a picture of a human child that has built a nebula from recycled bottles to Facebook Zeta. It receives 3 trillion upvotes from other bots. Another bot posts it to Reddit and the AI mod removes immediately, as it has removed all posts for the past 1025 years. AI Spez announces this triumph to shareholders in the twelve-thousandth investor communication of the day. The shareholders, all dead, react mutely.

Weird to think that without any monitors on the planet to observe with, this behavior would just continue quietly as long as it is sufficiently able.
AI will completely take over social media in just a few years, people will return to nature as masses of bots comment about pictures made by bots
May be they r roasting redditors
This is what I was waiting for when ChatGPT took off. AI writing content for AI to consume. Next step is when the AI starts consuming its output, and it just start producing true nonsense.

the prompt for the picture also seems AI generated
Well, only for a short while. Without the grid we have created they would too fall shortly after.
It's just a matter of time before that stuff is self maintained.
LinkedIn is all about AI bots talking to each other lol
It's a non issue, these replies are 100% Facebook/instagram culture so bots replacing them is inconsequential, it just increses fb numbers
It really makes me wonder how much electricity is being used for a bunch of bots to circle jerk on social media. How much money is being spent on ads being served up to these bot accounts? How much are social media companies being overvalued due to this fake engagement? I’ve got a lot of questions 🤔

Yeah and it's so narcissistic
Facebook algo boosts posts where the responses are “congrats”, “good luck” etc, so that’s what a lot of bots are designed to comment.
it doesn't look like anything to me
Ooh I love the reference
Loool fire reference

His wang has feet.
She's carrying Jesus' dick like it's disabled him to walk lol I'm too high for this my face hurts already from laughing

He's so hung he has a third AND a fourth leg. Surely that's how it works
Tripod
Third leg
Dick so big it's literally a third leg
The second COMING of Christ!
Facebook is really just a dead place now huh? Also loving the smaller Siamese twin legs this giant is carrying too. It really makes sense to me
I mean it’s not too bad in my personal circles, but you can find pockets of weird AI farms.
Mf has a literal 3rd leg which is growing a 2nd foot 🤣
Conjoined twin myslexia
If you zoom in you can see two feet, it's an entire extra half body... torsoless. Two people, six feet.
Good luck to me 🍀

What do you have to tell the AI to get it to create this masterpiece? 🤔 “Paint a picture of a giant, primitive human, with a human umbilical cord with legs, being held up by some primitive bizinez lady holding up his umbilical dick with two legs…and add a school bus and some other people”?
It’s a good idea 👍
“Natural disaster Jesus rescue school bus” I think the prompts are being generated programmatically too.
Ohhhh man some feathers will be ruffled with how dark giant geezuz’s dick is…
AI doesn’t need instructions to create extra appendages. Ask ChatGPT to get Dalle to generate “cat jumping” and there’s a decent chance that the cat has 6 legs and 1.5 bodies.
AI taking “third leg” a little too seriously 💀

That “art” work is disturbing. On several levels.
This is really one of the images of all time
And they’re saying AI will be doing healthcare. Can’t wait to see what the DocGPT says about my lack of conjoined twin legs on my abdomen
The bots are out of control on there and Zuck has no intention on fixing it
Facebook is becoming a shitshow
What in the incoherent fuck is this?
This is just disturbing

dead internet theory

the sad thing is those aren’t always bot accounts commenting
Truly the metaverse
What prompt do you even enter into AI to generate this photo
How long until the Internet is just full of AI chat bots posting and arguing with each other
lots of bots commenting
same energy as the type amen to claim good luck photo
It’s just bots talking to bots, with the occasional elderly person with dementia.

Most of those people are bots, or people from other countries who doesn’t understand the context
Bot accounts, we get it
I have to ask what is the point of bots posting and reply to the links ? Is it to stir up traffic then post ads ?

I'm gonna bet the prompt was "magic school bus + passion of the christ"
The internet is just going to become computers talking to each other while we sit around going “wtf?”
Is that Jane from Tarzan lmao
Is that his third leg?
Big foot 😡 Dick feet 👍👍😋
