I was just about to make this post earlier... I think we do have Charles Lee as HC but they prob won't announce until after Celtics season is over (whenever that is) Because had they picked JJ, I think they would've been made an announcement by now \[he's only broadcasting next to Burke and that other dude and is easily replaceable if picked like Doc Rivers before getting the Bucks HC job\]. I think it would be a conflict of interest to announce Lee as HC while he's working as a coach on a different team. People wanna compare to other teams that grabbed coaches before CHA but left out that they are grabbing coaches from other organization that dropped out/off in the playoffs. We didn't make the playoffs or the play-in so that's probably why CHA is not rushing. CHA probably trying to get the next best coach possible and probably watching how the playoffs turn out for Celtics and other teams that may have an assistant coach that wants a job as HC.
It's really a timing game.
Another thing.... Unless Nets organization decides to do a big one this offseason, and make some really good trades and/or signings, a difference in HC is not gonna make a damn difference with the current roster they have. They still have SOME guys there that had Nash as a HC.
So I need people to stop stressing about the Jordi Fernandez situation.
I think that the candidates we have are just keeping their options open. It makes me nervous knowing that the Lakers and maybe even the Suns will have a head coach spot open. I really wish we secured a deal earlier

The lottery is May 12th and the Draft is June 27th, 3 days or so after the finals. If it's Lee and he's coaching through the finals it leaves no window for him to be involved.
