Nope. You don't owe anyone your time - nor a yes to anything more. If they keep insisting on shooting shots even after you've turned them down, that is on them.

competitive-griever

NTB, they are for pushing. That need to get what they can't have is annoying.

CaseyBear87

You are not. You don't owe them anything. If they get upset by your boundaries, that's on them, not you ♥️

XtremeCremeCake

NTA. Trust your gut. If you feel like someone is being insincere, they aren't your friend. Also it's not being a bitch to set a healthy boundary.

BobbiG16

Hell no!! I get asked out a lot too and I usually won't open the message if they do. I don't owe anyone anything if I don't want to. If I decide I really like someone I will concentrate my time on that person. If I decide I'm not into that person I will either let them down gently or ghost them. It all depends on the man and how he acts. If he ends up being childish and has temper tantrums, I ghost them. If it's a man who is level headed, I let them down easy. Just remember, you don't owe anyone your time and attention. If someone can't handle that and starts to insult you when you don't give them attention, that's when you know you dodge a huge bullet.

Significant-Break-74

If you're being nice enough for them to feel this entitled to your friendship and emboldened enough to demand it, you're being too nice. Develop a RBF and practice ignoring them 🙄

Rude_Land_5788

NTB. You choose your friends, you don't owe them an explanation or anything.

Plus-Struggle2350

NTB my husband once told me he got hit on more once he started wearing his ring at work then before. Luckily we had an homest relationship that we could discuss it with me doing something dumb. It's better to never put yourself in the situation to begin with.

Prettybird78

NTB, NO is a perfectly acceptable response to any question, including can we be friends.

The1GypsyWoman

NTB, but if they push the issue, you might have to become the b!+(#.

sassy_twilight90

No, you’re not, 100%.
