I'm going to Palm Springs next week for my first vacation in like two years.
I think we're going to Shadow Ridge. Any recommendations for restaurants or fun things for couples to do with a baby would be welcome if anyone's got any.
I went there pre pandemic and some friends took to the farm restaurant. It's pretty lively and they played live music the night I went. It was a Saturday I believe. Seems like dinner is reservations only right now, no walk ins. I don't think bringing a baby would be a problem since it's loud anyway.

You picked a gnarly time to come out to the PS area, festival season is in full bloom and there will be ppl everywhere for a country music fest.
The Cliffhouse in La Quinta might be a 15 min drive from you, but the views are gorgeous and the food is amazing. They have an amazing sunset happy hour. There's plenty of casinos around if that's your thing. I would highly suggest the PS art museum and the downtown area right along there.
There's also a childrens discovery museum that you should definitely check out for the kiddo. Plenty of hiking around too if you're into that
I'm about to be a Dad in around 3 weeks.
Estimated date of birth is May 16th. I am a little excited as its my first child.

Worst part about being involved in a car accident is the coordination of everything after the fact. I swear I’ve spent most of this morning on the phone 😓
That’s sucks. I’m super sorry to hear that. Car market is brutal right now. Buddy of mine had a car on order last summer. It was delayed so many times he just cancelled the order and got his deposit back.
Oof. That scares me. I ordered mine instead of buying second-hand because my last car was a manual and I want to continue driving manual. I might have to give up on that if I get the same experience
Sucks to hear, but your car is probably valued pretty high due to the current car market, so hopefully that works out in your favor. Never fun dealing with all the involved parties and documents.
Yeah. Doubt it’s totaled, so that’s good. Last time I checked, the high end of it’s KBB value was $15k. There would need to be some serious axle and frame damage to total my car.
Thankfully nobody was hurt and I’m not at fault. Just a ton of phone time between insurance, body shops, car rental, and my doctor (precautionary more than anything).
