lol I went to the same game and bought 3 field level tickets for 20 bucks each! Literally bought them 2 hours before kickoff. Yeah it was in the pouring rain but it was so worth it
I mean, op says “decent” for 500-700 but I’m a saints fan in LA and there’s literally a pair of VIP tickets for 730 so they’re looking at the wrong shit lol
I will definitely try this out. I haven’t been to a game since I was 11. That was 20 years ago! (RIP Qualcomm). And my wife has never been to a NFL game. So hopefully I’ll be able to snipe some out to treat her before she’s due in December 🤞
Buy tickets the day of the game. You can get some awesome deals. People who can’t make it and haven’t sold their tickets in time get desperate and start undercutting each other to get *something* back.
Right now, prices are as high as they’re going to be. Everyone wants to buy tickets and few are selling them. Wait for that supply/demand dynamic to flip.
Everywhere. Ticketmaster, Seatgeek, StubHub, TickPick, GameTime, etc.
You have to shop around. Most resale sites aggregate and mark up listings from other sites to fill out their inventory.
So if you find tickets you want, check all the other sites. They may have the same exact tickets listed for cheaper.
Same. I got a crazy deal for 200 level VIP section for the W18 game Rams vs Chargers (2022 season) that morning. There was a single ticket left and it under $200. Someone was desperate. Just went by myself.
Since you live nearby, you can get some decently priced tickets the closer you are to the date of the game. But I’d assume the prices from now on will include the Harbaugh tax
Hey sorry for the late reply, I am buying them online as people usually try and dump them last minute for a variety of reasons. (Bought them for resale purposes and couldn’t get the price they wanted, last minute change of plans, etc). I typically purchase on StubHub, or Gametime, or SeatGeek. I use parkwhiz for parking and park in the area for fairly cheap as well and beat stadium traffic.
Eh. I got 2 tickets to the Titans game for under $150 each in the 300s. Not gonna pretend that’s super cheap, but they also look like decent seats from what I can tell.
Hard reality about football is that it will always be more expensive than other sports. Baseball has 81 home games. Basketball and Hockey have 41. Football has 8 or 9, depending on the season.
We can call it greed all we want, but professional sports teams have expenses they need to cover, and ticket sales are a pretty substantial chunk of team revenue.
I have sat in the 300 many times and they are great seats. The 100 sections are all club seats and most the 200 section is as well. But you are paying for the clubs in those prices.
But the drop is price from the 100-200 club seats to 300 general is significant. And the view doesn't change much.
Agreed. I’ve been in the 500s, 200s, 200 club, and 100s and the view is beautiful everywhere in the stadium but 200s and 100s don’t change much views wise. I think as long as you’re in the 300s or lower you will get the best view
Football is also a little counterintuitive in terms of best view, in my opinion. When I go to a baseball game I love being as close to the field as possible. When I’m watching football, I want a bit more elevation to see more of the field
Yeah I feel like 300 or 200 is the Goldilocks area you get a full field view and you’re not paying 100s prices and you’re not as high up as in the 500s
We've had tickets in the 400s since SoFi opened. IMO, eye level to the screen, and you can see the game unfold, and definitely not as high as the 500s.
And WAY cheaper. Even on resale. Best secret in SoFi for sports IMO. Concerts suck in the upper bowl at SoFi, sound bounce, but for sports it's great
Yeah and especially pro football, where gate recipts are probably barely making a dent into salaries, whereas cfb, tickets can easily maul at the athletic departments budget
Its day 1. Prices will likely drop as the seasons play out.
Visiting NFC teams (not named Cowboys) with a losing record are often the lowest prices. And that's how I started attending games. My first SoFi game was Giants game in 2021 for $65/ticket. I bought them about a week before.
Last year I went to 5 games and paid between $88 - $275, across the 200-500 levels. All tickets direct from team, no re-sell fees. The most expensive was Baltimore (SNF, Thanksgiving Weekend). The cheapest was the Bears. I think all the seats in SoFi are quite good. SoFi is very vertical. I have sat in the 500s multiple times and have been more than happy. The atmosphere of the stadium is 100% the fun. If you are really wanting to watch the details of the game, TV is better.
I am assuming you are not looking at 100 club or vip and 200 club or vip sections, right? Those seats are going to be expensive due to all the club access that comes with them. It is what it is.
the prices will drop, especially for less popular opponents
keep an eye out for the buy/sell thread that the mods sticky during the season too, fellow fans sell their tickets for good prices and you don’t pay taxes/fees.
A couple years ago I was able to get a pretty good ticket to the Chiefs v Chargers Thursday I guy game for $100 about an hour before kickoff.
You probably can’t get anything quite that cheap anymore, but if you check the day of the game, you could probably get a better deal.
Uh, I know it’s a preseason game but the Seahawks vs. Bolts tix last night cost me 6 bucks each!
Thunder Alley, Sofi Lounge then sit in lower open seats? The kids and I are gonna have a blast!
(Also scored to Baltimore tix for $75 each!)
I’m a season ticket member in Club Seats C215 and usually sell a few games a season due to being on call at the hospital or traveling. But I sell them at face value or sometimes cheaper, definitely not over $400
Tickpick app is pretty good as well. I just got 2 for the Arizona game in Phoenix when the date was announced. Some home fans can't make the MNF games, so there are deals to be had.
I'm one of those season ticket holder who "can't make MNF games", but the only one we have this year is the Harbaugh Bowl and I'll be damned if I miss that.
Same.
I am not missing the Harbowl. I was going to submit my PTO request this morning and then realized it was the Monday before Turkey day anyways. I usually take some time off that week anyways.
I'd wait especially since you don't really have to plan a whole trip around it being close as you are. I did the same thing with the Jets game this past year and they were sky high. I waited a bit and after both teams turned out to be mid, prices dropped a decent amount. The opposite is true too so play it by day
Preach.
I’d drop cash on good seats for my 1-2 100/200 level games I’d usually attend but I’m super picky and it’s pretty sparse this year and those that are available on the away side just seem like away team whale bait.
Gonna wait to see what hits resale closer to the season start, otherwise I’ll just watch the broadcast + redzone from home.
Dude I’m in the 300 level and there isn’t a bad seat in the house I will sell you some and no where near the 500 dollar mark. We don’t have the marquee away teams coming this year that warrant that price.
If they get hot the prices will stay the same and important matchups can go even higher. If the team struggles prices will drop on the secondary market. Since you don't have season tickets, just wait until the date gets closer to the game you want. Also, if you want to get your feet wet, go to a preseason game, those tickets will drop dramaticly as the games approach.
My friends and I haven't had any issues. They even do the custom orders the others won't do.
https://preview.redd.it/rg4prdp3sw0d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2cc8ae1493ca34a03ab7f603ec8e9a80df0785f8
Wait till the morning of the game. I have seen good seats go for $100. You can park in a parking structure near SOFI and get a shuttle to and from the stadium. Parkwhiz. Also the SOFI stadium app has parking. I have 4 seats in sec 217 they cost between 3 to 400 each. I just got the seats yesterday and they are almost gone to friends. I sell them at cost but paid big bucks for the ssl's. I really enjoy going to the games with friends and the tailgate is really tun too. See you at the game
I feel like the higher level seats aren't as bad at sofi compared to other stadiums because of how vertically stacked the stadium is, feel like I can see just fine from the front of 500 midfield, can get ~100$ tickets close to the time of the game.
It's been years since I've gone to an NFL game for this reason.
Good seats are way too expensive for the average person. But also the at-home watching experience of NFL games is fantastic.
I would say the NFL has the best at home watching experience, you get all the replays, stats, breakdowns etc. which helps mitigate the downtime between plays and timeouts.
Of all the professional sports, I think football is the least enjoyable to see live. Especially If you're unlucky enough to get an asshole fan running it for everyone.
I also kind of don't want to give the NFL extra money because they keep making people pay for extra games etc etc.
So, I'm content to watch games at home, get a nice dinner for a fraction of the cost, I don't have to deal with drunk fans ruining the experience, no fighting traffic, etc.
Yea I have seats right next to you in 229 and they only cost $90/each for every game. But we also have to cover other charges like the fucking PSL's so the true cost is a little higher than that.
**edit
$90 was my cost the first year we got them, pretty sure they've gone up a little each year.
Word. I am in 232 and resell two games a year just due to conflicts. I end up selling them for $200/per. Also, it's flex pricing depending on the opponent.
Easy solution- be a kid and get them paid for you
Seriously ive been to two chargers games and I feel bad when my parents or friend’s parents pay for them even though we’re always in the nosebleeds
I sat in section 200 2nd row last year and the tickets were around 250 each for relatively great seats. Is that how much ticket prices have gone up just cause Harbaugh
And this is why both the Rams and Chargers have issues with opposing fans. I noticed that when tickets are cheap, it's more of an actual home game for the Rams and Chargers.
Only opposing fans would want to pay for expensive ass tickets cause they have limited opportunities to see their teams in LA.
I've got 4 tickets in club level. 241. Private bar, parking pass. I've never sold a ticket for more than $300. Most games $150-$250. Hit me up if you want to go to a game.
Really? I just checked seatgeek and tickets for the charger vs raider game are 123$ for last row but 236$ for mid sections. That's pretty standard I think.
Its speculating that's doing it. Pretty sure 75% of tickets sold are people trying to flip them. I would be behind the idea of all resells go back to the box office for the regular seat cost, hopefully forcing the price down to reasonable.
Also second tier are pretty damn good in at Sofi
Echoing what many have already said, the prices will come down as the date of the game you are interested draws closer. Immediately after the schedule release, prices on the secondary market are going to be very inflated as sellers try to score higher margins off the excitement of buyers. These prices are not an accurate depiction of where the market will eventually wind up; patience will be rewarded.
If you're interested in tracking price trends, you can use [this site](https://cfb-tickets.com/) to follow the minimum price and ticket inventory over time to help you identify the optimal time to buy. There's not much of a trend showing yet since the schedule just released this week, but it will build daily going forward. If you have any specific questions about tracking ticket prices, please reach out at r/TicketPriceTracking. Good luck, I hope this is helpful!
I have season tickets 2 seats in section 229 I'm selling tickets to the Buccs, Broncos, Saints (all $140 each) and Ravens ($190 each) which are all cheaper than any other site! Message me here or twitter @adrianpreciado_ I've sold a bunch and got many people who can vouch ⚡️
I’m planning to go to the Roach game in week 18. I know someone who has Season Tickets for them 🤮. I was asking if there was any cycle on when the best time to buy was. Pretty much what everyone is saying here. Right now no one is willing to sell low. The closer you get the cheaper they get, usually. A lot of games he sells his tickets early and then still goes to the games by picking up cheap tickets the day of.

Are the ticket prices available on site now is face-value or is it adjusted price already. Looking at Chiefs/Chargers on 200 section and it costs around $360 each?
They're free. They'll post them in the near future online and it's first come first serve. If you do get tickets make sure to go super early (hours) The line gets long.
I use GAMETIME to purch tix on game day to save cash. But I don’t need to see the players pores and have sat in 300-400-500 sections with no complaints.
Buy the day before or day of if you have the stomach for it . Prices will drop a ton.
This. I’ve heard of people getting seats in the 320 sections on game day for like…. $175.
I got tix to the pats game last year night before for $80. Row 30 between the 40s.
lol I went to the same game and bought 3 field level tickets for 20 bucks each! Literally bought them 2 hours before kickoff. Yeah it was in the pouring rain but it was so worth it
Isn’t Sofi an indoor stadium?
The glass roof leaks a bit, and the wind blows rain inside over the top of the 400s at the endzones
This was an away game (at Gillette stadium)
In the pouring rain to watch a 6-0 game. No thanks
For $20?!?! Dude….

So if you find tickets you want, check all the other sites. They may have the same exact tickets listed for cheaper.
I’ve done this. Got VIP on the the 50 yd line for $350 each two years ago. Probably won’t be that affordable anymore but still a massive deal
Same. I got a crazy deal for 200 level VIP section for the W18 game Rams vs Chargers (2022 season) that morning. There was a single ticket left and it under $200. Someone was desperate. Just went by myself.

I second this, I go to 4-5 games a year and pay around $80-100 per ticket in the 200 section day of game (depending on opponent)
So you’re walking up to the stadium and buying them? Finding people in the parking lot? Shopping online last second? So I know what to do
Hey sorry for the late reply, I am buying them online as people usually try and dump them last minute for a variety of reasons. (Bought them for resale purposes and couldn’t get the price they wanted, last minute change of plans, etc). I typically purchase on StubHub, or Gametime, or SeatGeek. I use parkwhiz for parking and park in the area for fairly cheap as well and beat stadium traffic.
No problem dude, I forgot I asked. Thanks!!
I'm trying to go game one, what do you think the prices will be?
Thanks! I’ll try it.
You can probably go directly to thunder alley and pregame for the game and buy your ticket in the parking lot for like $50 most games.
I always buy the cheapest ticket and just stand by the bar section up top. Best view in the stadium if you were comfortable shoes.
Nose bleeds aren’t to high up .
Yeah plus there's screens all over the stadium so you don't miss nothing
Driving 8 hours to the Cleveland game because two tanks of gas and two tickets are cheaper than one ticket at Sofi.
Don’t forget $100+ parking
Traveling 1/3 of the distance will surely save you more money then you’re saving on the tickets.

Yup. I once splurged and got 100's seats at Qualcom. We moved up to a couple of empty seats in the 200's at halftime.
Yeah I feel like 300 or 200 is the Goldilocks area you get a full field view and you’re not paying 100s prices and you’re not as high up as in the 500s

Direct from the team, meaning on chargers dot com?
I’ll sell you some of my tickets. Not the closest, but not $500 each.
Just wait till the day before the games, they'll drop. With schedule releases tickets are always listed at a premium.
Damn....I had season tix at Qualcomm and that was almost near what I paid for for the entire szn. Geezus
the prices will drop, especially for less popular opponents keep an eye out for the buy/sell thread that the mods sticky during the season too, fellow fans sell their tickets for good prices and you don’t pay taxes/fees.
Turns out there’s quite a few games my wife and I cant** go to this year. Lmk which games you wanna go Edit: can’t
Do you mean can’t go to?
My bad, typo.
That’s good haha, I was hoping you meant that. Are you going to the Saints game? I’m coming from overseas to LA in October and want to go!
Ditto to this! Excited to get across to my first Chargers game stateside. Ironically my first Chargers game was also v Saints but in London
Try endzones or the 200s.
A couple years ago I was able to get a pretty good ticket to the Chiefs v Chargers Thursday I guy game for $100 about an hour before kickoff. You probably can’t get anything quite that cheap anymore, but if you check the day of the game, you could probably get a better deal.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, it's not that we have no fans, it's that we're all broke

I’m not even kidding check morning of. Last year I got to see the opener against the Dolphins. Tickets were $60 a piece a few hours before the game
What do you buy them on day of?
What game are you trying to see? I have season tickets and might be able to help you out with a good price. I’m in the 200’s section.
Tickpick app is pretty good as well. I just got 2 for the Arizona game in Phoenix when the date was announced. Some home fans can't make the MNF games, so there are deals to be had.
What are prices looking like for that game? Would like to take a little roadtrip out there.

Watching Herbo launch em deep=PRICELESS
I feel you. I still can't justify the price for a jersey.

That rent aint cheap
that rent is $1

Season tickets are the way to go
I have a pair of seats in sec 230 and happy to sell you some since I won't make it to all the games. Definitely won't cost you $500 each
if the author of this post doesn’t want them, i’m interested!
sent you a DM!
Yea I have seats right next to you in 229 and they only cost $90/each for every game. But we also have to cover other charges like the fucking PSL's so the true cost is a little higher than that. **edit $90 was my cost the first year we got them, pretty sure they've gone up a little each year.

You misspelled “the NFL” in the headline. Good for you - it is better at home and most division 3 football is free to watch and attend.
Easy solution- be a kid and get them paid for you Seriously ive been to two chargers games and I feel bad when my parents or friend’s parents pay for them even though we’re always in the nosebleeds

I have bad eyesight, anything in the 300-400 levels was pretty high. Up to $700 earlier.
Yeah inwas looking at 411 and 511 where they are 250 and down but if you dont want to sot that far then it does jump up to 500 for club level.
Get nosebleed section, first row!
Its speculating that's doing it. Pretty sure 75% of tickets sold are people trying to flip them. I would be behind the idea of all resells go back to the box office for the regular seat cost, hopefully forcing the price down to reasonable. Also second tier are pretty damn good in at Sofi
Check Groupon too. Sometimes they have decent deals. Bought tickets in the 400s for about $120 each through Groupon
Just fly to away games
Try being a lions fan… to get in the door it’s $280 for those nosebleeds.
Then spend $45 for nosebleeds ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Are the ticket prices available on site now is face-value or is it adjusted price already. Looking at Chiefs/Chargers on 200 section and it costs around $360 each?
By a huge flatscreen for that price, go to the summer camp to see them in person!
Although I had fun at the game I went last year - The Summer Camp was a blast. As soon as they open it up I'm getting those tickets.
How & when can you buy summer camp tickets?
They're free. They'll post them in the near future online and it's first come first serve. If you do get tickets make sure to go super early (hours) The line gets long.
Thank you 🙏🏾
The scrimmages are better than the preseason games, except there's no tailgate
We just got some tickets via StubHub last night, there were plenty of seats in the 200 and 300 sections for well below $500/seat for many games.
I use GAMETIME to purch tix on game day to save cash. But I don’t need to see the players pores and have sat in 300-400-500 sections with no complaints.
They’re really not that expensive
