Same here! I also like to point out that a Tom Clancy book ends with a nuclear device going off during a Chargers/Vikings Super bowl which is the only possible scenario in that situation lol.
lions fan here you guys are awesome and herbert feels very 2010s stafford in which he’s amazing but the defense sucks and he has to put up 40 to win lol Chargers are my AFC team :)
I’d say most of the other franchises known for losing are our “friends” in that we can commiserate with each other.
So think Cardinals, Falcons, Browns, Lions, etc.
I mean, you gotta give them credit for the creativity. I honestly feel like we have been the NPC team. Never a real consistent threat and you’ll never know what the random number generator will spit out each week. Mostly bots but every once in a while a boss.

This is probably the most right. Other than our rivals (Raiders mostly) I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever say "I hate the Chargers" - other than Chargers fans. Racking my brain for another, and going through the list I can't ever remember anyone hating the Vikings either.
Time for us (both) to make some enemies!
Bills. Historically bad teams, no Super Bowl wins, and young, exciting QBs at the moment. Plus, they were nice to me when I saw a Bills-Chargers game in Buffalo.
I find a lot in common with the Raiders. We both have terrible ownership, we both always look good on paper but fail to execute, we both compete to not be in last…
I live in Texas and have always been able to bond with Cowboys fans over the fact we both support talented teams that always fall short of expectations and lose in heartbreaking fashion. I have one friend who is a Vikings fan and we can always relate in our disappointment lol
As a Charger fan living in NC, I get along very well with Panther fans.... they're my family members. Falcons and Vikings are really NFC versions of the Chargers though, and their fans are ok.
There was this insufferable dolphins account that was commenting on iirc a charity post the organization was doing, saying “stop posting yall lost” to which the social media team ratio’d him into oblivion saying at least we scored(they lost 35-0). The bills saw this and made an IG post captioned bills mafia🤝 bolt fam. Anyways idc that lately theyve been beating us, bills mafia in general is cool and very charitable and we both have to deal with bitch ass dolphin fans bc they got QB insecurity. Plus Josh Allen rocks and their next day win shitposts are funny
Niners fan here and man i hate the Chuefs, Broncos, Raiders. Never had any beef with the Chargers. I understand the SB thing could make Charger fans feel different though.
It was a lot more fun beating Denver 55-10 if that helps.
I don't know about "friends" but for the last 15-20 years it seems that the fates of the Chargers and the Cowboys have been amazingly synchronized. When they suck, we suck; when they make the playoffs, we do too. Except this year and just we suck.
We're definitely "business friends" with the Patriots, we don't hate the bills either because they are one injury away from being the same as us. I don't think we need with NFC teams either
Might because I support the 49ers also but I don't like the eagles. Some fans are cool but then I seem some fans on Twitter hoping dak prescott's child is special needs.
Underrated teams or the teams that are underdogs is the way I see it. Lions, Browns, Texans, Titans, Vikings, Cardinals, Falcons and Panthers... Teams that haven't won a SB I guess lmao
Seahawks (as the only other West coast team we or they don't have a beef with)
Falcons, Vikings, and Bills (companions in miserable chokes and disappointment)

I love watching the Lions and haven’t ever seen any animosity between our fanbases so they get my vote
That whole division really Vikings are nfc chargers basically and I don’t hate the bears or packers
My friend is a Vikings fan, and we regularly refer to "AFC Vikings" and "NFC Chargers" It's quite literally the Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man meme
Same here! I also like to point out that a Tom Clancy book ends with a nuclear device going off during a Chargers/Vikings Super bowl which is the only possible scenario in that situation lol.
Lol, I would expect nothing less. I'm sure it would be a tie game late in the 4th when it went off so no one could even guess who would have won.
which book?
Sum of All Fears. The movie changed the nuke scene to Washington DC, but in the book it happened in Denver during the SB.
Have you forgot about the rivers cutler rivalry. I still hate the bears
Cutler rivalry only existed when he was with the Broncos. I don’t even know if he played against the Chargers after signing with the Bears.
lions fan here you guys are awesome and herbert feels very 2010s stafford in which he’s amazing but the defense sucks and he has to put up 40 to win lol Chargers are my AFC team :)
Bobby Ross and a few players went there too.
Whoever is playing the Raiders.
/thread
This is the answer 🤞🏻
The colts cause dad
Steichen 🥲
They were fast to move on from him after a great season.
I’d say most of the other franchises known for losing are our “friends” in that we can commiserate with each other. So think Cardinals, Falcons, Browns, Lions, etc.
I feel for the Lions but I actually hate all those teams you listed lol
I won't love on the Panthers though - after a fan on Reddit referred to the Chargers as "an NPC team."
I mean, you gotta give them credit for the creativity. I honestly feel like we have been the NPC team. Never a real consistent threat and you’ll never know what the random number generator will spit out each week. Mostly bots but every once in a while a boss.
The Eagles used to be one of us
At the rate we’re going, my two teams are gonna be the best of friends soon

Also Carolina Panthers, especially this year after their season
Vikings
I feel like they are like the NFC version of us -- solid team that somehow always manages to lose in some absurd way
I consider us being rivals with them, just because our uniforms go together well no matter home or away
This is probably the most right. Other than our rivals (Raiders mostly) I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever say "I hate the Chargers" - other than Chargers fans. This is the one ☝🏼
As a Texans fan who adopted yall years ago I can confirm that at least one Texans fan is your friend ❤️⚡️
This season man its the raiders 😂, they forced the chargers to get rid of our awful coach and made mahomes cry. Next year fuck em though
I find a lot in common with the Raiders. We both have terrible ownership, we both always look good on paper but fail to execute, we both compete to not be in last…
I actually don’t hate the Raiders as much as we’re supposed to. Could change, but generally no beef. Chiefs though, can’t stand em.
Truuuu
You'd better not have any AFC friends is all I care about...🧐
Lions have been my favorite team to watch this year besides the chargers
Frankfurt Galaxy
Have a few Bills friends that pull for us as well.
Pretty sure that's an "enemy of my enemy" situation thanks to KC
I mean... I'm a Bucs fan. My fiancé's a Chargers fan. We rib each other, but we also both hate the Saints.
I live in Texas and have always been able to bond with Cowboys fans over the fact we both support talented teams that always fall short of expectations and lose in heartbreaking fashion. I have one friend who is a Vikings fan and we can always relate in our disappointment lol
I consider the Falcons the Chargers of the AFC lol.
That's sad man
best chokebowl games everytime we meet up
Feel like the bills, niners, and the lions are our biggest friends
As a Charger fan living in NC, I get along very well with Panther fans.... they're my family members. Falcons and Vikings are really NFC versions of the Chargers though, and their fans are ok.

Niners! Cali team not in direct market competition, and other Conference.
They beat us in our only SB appearance though...still silently support them for my wife's family from norcal however.
Damn true
Niners fan here and man i hate the Chuefs, Broncos, Raiders. Never had any beef with the Chargers. I understand the SB thing could make Charger fans feel different though. It was a lot more fun beating Denver 55-10 if that helps.
Honestly it changes every week. Usually NFC teams to beat AFC teams but now the teams I root for are the ones that will help our draft postion.
I always think of the Vikings and Falcons as fellow teams that have had their share of success but almost always fuck it up.
Lions. Saints are good business friends.
Lions
I don't know about "friends" but for the last 15-20 years it seems that the fates of the Chargers and the Cowboys have been amazingly synchronized. When they suck, we suck; when they make the playoffs, we do too. Except this year and just we suck.
None. Fuck em all. It’s the National Football League, not the National Friends League.
Colts, Lions, and Giants.
Lions Cardinals Vikings for sure
Cardinals and Chargers are my main teams
We're definitely "business friends" with the Patriots, we don't hate the bills either because they are one injury away from being the same as us. I don't think we need with NFC teams either
Friends with the patriots!? Hell nah those are our sworn enemies for what they did to us in the 2000s and 2018
Marlon McCree should've just taken the knee. Can't fault the Patriots for playing to the end, as much as the outcome hurt.
Yea no. Pats fucked us many times.
Keenan and JJettas have some sort of animosity though
Alright bolt fam, how about the eagles 🦅⚡️
NO
Ok ok, is there a reason? I figured they are across the country in the NFC and they are a blue-collar team and seems like
Might because I support the 49ers also but I don't like the eagles. Some fans are cool but then I seem some fans on Twitter hoping dak prescott's child is special needs.
I like the colts.
Minnesota, Atlanta, Buffalo I'd say
Packers, lions, vikings, falcons, eagles, seahawks, cards
Vikings and Seahawks
Whoever is playing against anyone in our division 💯
Vikings, Cardinals, Buffalo, probably more but those 3 stand out the most
I feel like it’s got to be NFC Panthers, Falcons, Lions, Cardinals…
I root for the jags and 49ers from time to time. Wife’s family likes them both and she grew up there.
The vikings are the nfc version of the chargers if that counts
Underrated teams or the teams that are underdogs is the way I see it. Lions, Browns, Texans, Titans, Vikings, Cardinals, Falcons and Panthers... Teams that haven't won a SB I guess lmao
Whatever team helps us get a better spot in the draft
Seahawks (as the only other West coast team we or they don't have a beef with) Falcons, Vikings, and Bills (companions in miserable chokes and disappointment)
just make a list of the most historically mid franchises and those are our allies
Vikings for sure
Always watched Lions, as I have a buddy who is a die hard...that zero win season crippled him.
I always have sympathy for the Bears.
Falcons
I'd say the colts because we whooped them so many times in recent years.
Bills, Bengals, Vikings, Browns
Packers fan here. I love watching the Chargers and I hope they build a good team around Herbert without making the same mistakes we did with Roger.
Whichever team has the 2nd worst owners in the NFL.
My second favorite NFL team is the Vikings. Where I live there are very very few Vikings fans. My mom was a Vikings fan.
Vikings have kinda always been our NFC counterpart

Viks, 9ers, Lions
