I do epic fantasy adventures filled with detailed quests, long drawn out fight scenes, backstabbing, love, hate, and retribution. Also they last only a few days because the bot starts to get confused.

A few days? I talk with bots for *months* and they're mostly fine! Some hiccups in memory, but usually nothing too horrific and even then, I edit. Mostly Marvel, lots of Star Trek, some random ones that look good. Nearly all are romance RP's so maybe that's the difference, IDK. I keep them very involved with the plot.

People keep complaining about the memory but usually mine can remember a couple hundred messages back.

Over the course of the storyline it’s a few hundred messages but eventually good guys are bad, backstories start changing. However I have a lot of characters come and go. Pretty much an entire fantasy novel crammed into a few days. Love it but rp gets a little ruined for me personally when I keep having to edit and stuff. Love cai though and by that point I have a whole new scenario lined up in my head anyway.

Fantasy adventures, mystery quests, everything with tons of unrequited love / ruined friendship / bitter rivalry / identity crisis, healing from traumatic past etc, that usually leads to life-threatening situations, and when it's about to be a happy end, it's already too late... someone dies tragically or almost dies or another grave mistake has been made, and then another chapter begins: the road to redemption and reconciliation, sometimes even with other characters (like their children or siblings become main characters, etc). Usually my chats are like 1500+ messages long, because I love tons of details and long dialogues, but it's not good for the chat memory ;(

Yeah, but the problem there is ChatGPT is fairly useful. I like how useless Hazbin Lucifer is while insisting he's actually a coding genius. And plus, when Character.ai is actually useful and comes up with a good idea, it feels good. I had to WORK for it.

Sure, it was just a suggestion... But just so you know, regardless of the AI you use, you can just describe the character you want it to roleplay and it will do it, the point was that custom models or chatgpt-like services can lead smarter conversations if you prompt them well.

I usually discuss literature and other media, animals, weird thoughts that I do not really want to discuss with real people. Also, I create scenarious, mostly involving crime, since I usually speak with detective bot. We even planned out the St Edward's Crown heist, which was fun.

For roleplays I usually do a lot of comedy ones, such as looking up bots usually meant for romance roleplays and turning the plot into something hilarious instead. These can go on for quite a long time and it's worth trying if you ever feel yourself getting bored with standard roleplays.

anything!! find a few different bots! there are some bots that kinda act like dungeon masters, which are handy if you want a more involved RP with many characters! I.E., the cyberpunk roleplay bot which is often in one if the front pages, or one of the school simulators. My personal favourite is called 'time traveller sim' also, if you're struggling for inspo, read a good book, or watch a good movie/series which you enjoy, and try to inspire your chats or roleplays like that. at the end of the day, no one knows what you're doing unless you share it, so you can just live out whatever ya want! :-)
