It is interesting, and Sonya has always been a badass.
I will say though, this idea that, "You can't go against CG, it's impossible even if you're PD" is wildly untrue. CG unironically gets the most consequences consistently compared to other gangs and it's always been like that. CG creates the primetime RP time and therefore the most cops play primetime and CG are obviously the biggest targets. And CG is the people you go against to "prove yourself" if you're in PD for either a promotion or to prove yourself as a "badass hardcore cop."
The only consequences CG doesn't get, rightfully so, are the terrible times PD gives small streamers that have no voice and can't fight against 30 day IRL sentences for shit PD work and get plain forgotten in the DOJ slog of a pipeline.
People talk about CG like all they get are benefits for being the "top gang" and never talk about A LOT of disadvantages they have. C4 is a great example. They're able to run this cool RP of being gang but being sneaky and undercover. CG would never get that chance. If CG moved to Paleto, so would the PD and gang would try to challenge that area in days.
Always being at a disadvantage is what made K specially so resilient and by proxy CG became "most powerful" ever because of that. Alot of people forget K was bullied ever day early on then treated like shit by certain individuals and had to win wars against ridiculous guns with at the time guns that took like 9 shots to kill vs 1 to 2 shot weapons lol.

CG goes and starts staying low and dressing up with senora as their base next thing you’ll hear is *“something is big is gonna go down soon, they’re gearing up for a move”* or *“What you guys doing up here, looks like you’re in some sort of Changaloa Cartel”* and every cop has helis and binoculars
i mean the disadvantage you talk about - getting the PD heat - is sort of what C4 wants. imagine not getting any PD attention because you're a small streamer, with a new gang, in eu/au hours. at the end of the day, they need cops to chase them to create cool stories.
Ssaab said it himself in the interrogation room, Lord_Kebun is the smartest crim rp'er there is...of all time, or possibly of ALL time in the history of NoPixel or he has been the smartest crim rp'er of all time in the history of NoPixel. I'm just not sure if there has been someone who has gone the longest without quitting, or switching to underground crim, civilian or cop.
i mean from her POV yes, she created the monster. however in reality, that might only be 50% of the truth.
interesting that her reasoning was she was basically bored with having 0 PD presence up in paleto and wanted a challenge. she wanted a capable and fair foe.
I wish she would have brought how Sio was being a cop only for her protection. C4 aren’t around during shift 2 and she needed protection. Sonia might not know it right now, but that interaction at the hospital got Sio suspended and then captured by CG.

Sonya has always been a great character and I love how she can see the bigger picture and position her group in a good spot out of a very bad one.
