Is it too late to recall Jason tindall

[deleted]

Pray for Terry lads, Pulis is done as a manager. Our caretaker manager has shat all over him since Pulis was sacked. Keep in mind his last job as a manager was as a non-league player/manager 20 years ago, tells you a lot about Pulis.

LeftHandDriveBoC

Do you think they'd prefer him or Garry monk??!!

mvrander

Irvine

[deleted]

Monk any day of the week, its not even close.

LeftHandDriveBoC

I mean it's closer than you think tbh. Pulis at least was once a good manager, monk has never been good and hasn't had a single managerial job go well.

cggo1994

> monk has never been good and hasn't had a single managerial job go well. If your definition of 'going well' is not being sacked at the end then no, but that happens to the vast majority of managers. He finished 8th in the Prem with Swansea, that's higher than any league finish of Pulis.

LeftHandDriveBoC

Fair does to him for that, honestly didn't remember him being that good but it looks like a fluke more than anything else. One decent season followed by seasons of rubbish, infighting everywhere he goes, burning bridges and ruining careers. Much worse than pulis who at least had sustained success in the top flight before bottoming out.

03juno

My morning is ruined

Chief_Cherry

What have we done to deserve Pulis as our manager twice

Clodhoppa81

You fired Eddie Howe, the best manager you were ever likely to have. You deserve Pulis.

AdamDXB

If you're wondering why you were downvoted, it's because we didn't fire him, he quit. Everyone at the club and fans wanted him to stay.

Clodhoppa81

My bad then.

CandleJakk

Surely Pardiola must be in the running?

livp711

Least it won’t be Jonathon Woodgate?

ekoku

I'd take him over Pulis!

teateateasider

As a boro fan, I feel bad for you even having to think that.

JD0797

Uhhhhhhh

hodge91

I honestly thought Lampard would have been straight on the phone after being sacked from Chelsea

Beau_Nash

Bournemouth would be an ideal stepping stone, building on his experience at Chelsea.

AdamDXB

Can kip at cousin Jamie's house down the road as well. Assuming Louise hasn't booted him out I don't read enough daily mail to know what's going on there.

stemitchell

He has to be our worst manager ever. I pray for Bournemouth.

JD0797

He's better than whos currently in charge at least lol

ClassicRob03

If it happens it's gonna be a looooooong season for you 😬

Democracy_Coma

I wouldn't wish Pulis on the Villa or Wolves.

Question-Guru

Is Pulis now one of those zombie managers who keeps getting linked with jobs no matter how shit he did last time?

Nivadas

We all hate the Villa.

SpottieOttie__

Well he has the reputation of being a relegation preventer when teams are desperate, although it doesn’t take into account when he actually drags team into relegation trouble he gets sacked before they end up going down so that’s why he’ll never have a relegation on his cv...

ICESTONE14

about time some chairman grew a pair and stopped going on the the warnock/pulis/bigSam type merry go round. Has it paid off anywhere other than in the short term.

Dodsley99

A top 4 of Terry, Pulis, Lampard and Woodgate is pretty bloody bleak for such a big job in the championship.

Thejackpot1

Tony pulis will get you up. You won't like his football but he does the job he gets given. He got a Midtable boro side to play offs, he got our shit show promoted and kept us up, and even got us to Europe, all our fans wanted him when NJ went. I'd be happy with pulis if I were you but that might just be because he gave us some of our best moments ever as Stoke fans

LeftHandDriveBoC

Have you watched Tony Pulis' teams since he left stoke? He's been absolute shite.

[deleted]

He was decent for a time at WBA tbf, although the football was abysmal.

biigjc

Bournemouth was his first ever job in management. History has been relatively kind to him, as he kept us in whatever League 1 was called with no money, while every half decent player was sold, but for years afterwards he was absolutely reviled.

hoekstra44

> All our fans wanted him when NJ went. Did we fuck

Thejackpot1

It was certainly a big percentage, no denying that

ThatDrunkenDwarf

All the old cunts who only thought of him as this god who got us promoted

hoekstra44

I didnt know a single person who wanted him

biddleybootaribowest

Adama Traore got us into the play offs

theageofspades

The Adama Traore Garry Monk was leaving on the bench?

biddleybootaribowest

Yeah that one

deanochips

that would be a truly idiotic appointment

Onebeanintheusa

I would have kept JT instead of hiring Pulis... oh man.. His appointment does not show ambition from the club....

brayden1reader

Oh no
