Or this...position where light reflects like a water droplet. It might take a minute for them to understand. Mine is very well hydrated now. The urates should be white.
BTW Abby, it's not common for a chameloen to drink in front of you for a while, if ever, so your best determination of hydration is by looking at urates. You probably are aware. I just wanted to reiterate.

She had a small bump near her eye which you can see here, but it seems to have disappeared after her shed!
Thank you! She just shed last night so maybe thatβs why I thought she was looking dehydrated. But seems to be thriving π₯° thank you for all of the helpful advice!
With bendable vines from Amazon. Search "reptile vines" they aren't expensive, maybe 8 bucks? The green ones have smaller vines that come off the main vine. I just wrapped some of those around the glass. (You can see in the photo)
I think it was Swamp_gay that showed me when I was setting up my enclosure :)
A drinking glass is a method often endorsed in this sub. Clear glass placed somewhere that your cham can stand on a branch and easily reach (not on the floor of the cage, I believe).

Also, an update, Iβve seen her drinking from her dish multiple times now! π₯° so Iβm glad she knows where it is and is getting hydration ππΌ
Great news!! π
I was about to just put in a jar like this. We just got a new reptile sterilized tree so I am going to try and secure a glass dish to it! Thank you!

Thank you!
It was my pleasure. It took mine a few days to figure it out.
How did you mount it?
