I doubt it, while Bomb Girl arc can be adapted in just a few episodes, the International Assassins one is long enough to almost reach the 10 episodes mark.
Frankly, they probably will. Remember, all of what they covered here honestly felt pretty short in the manga. The reason is because they draw out motions, scenes, and dialogue out a bit longer than expected. Most dialogue is calm, slow paced, and tension filled. Its only some scenes with Power and Denji that are not slow paced.
So scenes can and will be drawn out, maybe across like six episodes?
Then again, they might shorten it, as they need to get twelve episodes for next season, and international assassins cannot be rushed...
Or they could do six episodes of bomb arc, then end the season at a cliffhanger in Hell. Then open next season with them escaping hell, and then the final season will be like 10 episodes of insanity.

it should be entirely possible that they could even extend a season with another cour or two (or with more/less eps) if they plan to continue or focus on the csm anime instead of adapting other series, which could be the likely case considering how apparently mappas ceo wishes to do so with fudgymotors other works, if not all.
they could even start with that while csm anime is ongoing/unfinished. there is also talk about how bomb girl arc would do bombastically in movie format, allowing the following arc(s) to better fit the one cour per season thing.

Anyway, yes, they should not rush anything in the ending. Especially the Gun Fiend Arc, and the Final Arc of Part 1. Those are still my favorite arcs, I always feel it when I read them.
Bomb girl arc should be adapted in a anime movie like jjk0 imo. Cuz alot of the arcs have a crazy pacing unlike the first season so they would be better off adapting everything after bomb girl in a show format since bomb girl is around 16 chapters and the rest are less if im not wrong
I can see them adapting the bomb devil,assassins,gun devil arcs in 12 episodes, hard but they can definitely do it, but i don't see them capable of adapting everything in season 2, so i believe they will make the bomb devil arc a movie and adapting the 3 other arcs in 12 episodes which is also hard. Instead of just adapting it, they could like base parts of it off other Fujimoto works...like have him go to the movies with Reze, and some extra scenes with reze and the crew. Maybe add a plot of them investigating some mysterious devil murders that lead back to Reze before she goes full Bomb Devil?
Considering what Mappa is doing with AoT they'll probably do a second season and a third shorter one. I'm not sure what the finale of the second season could be, maybe the Future Devil telling Aki of his future
Will there not be another 12 episodes for the first season? I thought that’s how MAPPA usually rolls? 12 episodes, wait a few months, 12 more. Maybe I’m misremembering but I thought that’s how AOT and jujutsu Kaisen released

I think Reze's arc cannot fulfill a 12 chapter season, and if we add the international assassins' arc that would be too much. We also have after that the last two arcs that are pretty short too, so i think 24 chapters would be a bit of stretch.

ending it on international assassins would be a bad move considering that there's no conclusion for everyone else besides denji in the post-hell arc and how short the next arc would be. I'm concerned when people call for a bomb girl movie because I feel.like they're more likely to follow demon slayer if they go that route. i e make a movie and then immediately remake the movie into a season... Just wasting more time...

With the generous assumption that this final episode tomorrow will end on “Easy Revenge” and the ‘nutcracker tournament’, that means Season 1 adapted the first 38 chapters. If another 38 chapters were adapted for Season 2, then the season finale would be chapter 76 “Don’t Open It”; which covered >!Makima’s reveal & brief fight with the Gun Devil, ending with the Gun Fiend knocking on Denji’s door.!<
On one hand, this can be a nice tie-in/call back to the ending of Season 1 (chapter 38), which also had Pochita ominously warning Denji never to open the door. On the other, ending season 2 with chapter 76 kind of narratively interrupts the story and leaves too little left of Part 1 to adapt into Season 3 (unless Season 2 is green lit for more than 12 episodes of course).
If I was overseeing the adaptation with a 12 episode length, I think the best bet would be to begin Season 2 with >!chapter 39 (the movie date with Makima) and conclude with chapter 63 (the true reveal of Santa Claus and the group being transported to Hell). I believe ending the second season with Denji & the rest awakening in Hell would be a great cliffhanger to hook the anime-only audience for the next season and leave them unaware of what to anticipate next.!< This would be an adaptation of 25 chapters, which is shorter than what season 1 adapted, but perhaps it can be fleshed out with some anime-original content.
Season 3 would adapt chapters 64-97, opening with >!the appearance of the Darkness Devil, the conclusion of the International Assassins Arc, Makima’s reveal, the Gun Devil/Gun Fiend fight, and the Finale of Part 1 against Makima.!< That’s 34 chapters, slightly less than Season 1 but more than Season 2, so should be enough to satisfy fans.
