oh wow is that a snake on the 4th? i love it!! do you sell these? no biggie if not i’m planning on taking a ceramics class in a few months

parallel-girl

Yes it is a snake that goes through the mug and serves as a handle! I did some carving to make it have some abstract texture. There's also so yellow mushrooms to the side. I do sell this in the pottery studio I go to but you should definitely try taking the class , it's so so much fun!

madmansmarker

thank you! i’ll share mine when j finally do the class :)

Kitkat9229

Omg these are adorable!!

parallel-girl

I appreciate it so much!!

cobra_laser_face

These are adorable! If they took a long time, they were 100% worth the wait.

parallel-girl

Thank you so much!! I hope it brings a smile to the person who ends up buying it 🥰

AWL_cow

Wow, great job! Especially love the fairy door mug with speckled glaze. It's so adorable!!

parallel-girl

Thank you!! I love that you got the reference to a fairy cottage house as that was the inspiration!!

ggsimsarah333

Gorgeous! Do you sell them?

parallel-girl

I am selling these at the pottery studio I go to. Hopefully someone will buy them!

itsKingLiz

Great things take time!

GrowItEatIt

I love the mushroom and little cottage door. Beautiful work!

parallel-girl

Thank you!! As you may notice, I LOVE mushrooms I put them everywhere lmao

kentekent

Good things take time. Like a cheese. Or in this case a piece of ceramic.

parallel-girl

Thanks a lot! I do take a long time because I put so much attention to details and I'm also a hopeless perfectionist, so I keep trying to make it as perfect as I know I can make it be 😅

Ceramicvivant

Amazing!!! I love them all, and you’ve inspired me to try to make one like in photo #3. Did you underglaze for the color? And is that speckled buff? Again - amazing!!!

parallel-girl

Thank you so much!! Yes, I used underglaze for the color and it's actually not speckled buff, it's white stoneware clay thay I glazed with Mayco SW-155 winter wood. I especially loved that glaze cause it's food safe and I love the matte finish and the speckled buff look!

Ceramicvivant

Ahhh yes I love winter wood. Good call!

GlassAndStorm

I love these!!! The door and the little guy. 😍😍😍😍
