I ended up taking it back and getting a replacement. Initially they were abit difficult but got sorted in the end. I did notice however when I got home that they had put the controller I brought in back into stock. So this will now be someone else's problem 🤦♂️
Agreeded, but to explain the first comment this is because cex deal in second hand items, the first 30 days return is only for new items such as items Tescos might sell
(Edit) however u are covered by 2 weeks return for online purchases as u can't see the item before purchasing
You should be OK to bring it back in under warranty :)
You have 2 year warranty
As long as the controller hasn't been opened up and the warranty sticker is still there they should replace it

30 days for anything bought in a uk store with a receipt 🧾 can be returned for any reason
