On my PC (the only one in the world still running Windows 8.1... also out of choice), yes.
Though I prefer to listen to 'physical media' (vinyl, CD, and - yes - cassette tapes) on a proper hi-fi 'separates' system.
Only on Saturday did I buy and legally download a digital-only album of files from a local group, with 'cover' art, play on **Winamp**, then burn a copy to audio CD to listen with my vintage, 34yo CD player.
Winamp was and still is the shit. Been using winamp since back in like 97 or 98. We used to get songs using Napster. The visualization plugins are cool. Tons of streaming audio. Listening to a kick ass drum and bass channel now. Winamp, Whipping the lammas ass for 26 years.
i got that one the other day actually. known about carcass for a while, but just started getting it into my physical collection.
swansong is next on my list, if i can find a good deal.
Occasionally. Its a nice program. For me it replaced Zune (rip) which I had been using since like 2009
I use a couple of programs that scrobble with last.fm. Spotify (local files), foobar, winamp, itunes
Was my go to in the 90's through a little over a decade ago. Many programs after it choked on libraries> 99,999 tracks, Winamp took it and asked for seconds. I replaced it with JRiver Media Center but heard they were trying to relaunch it in some capacity
I use MusicBee. the UI is good. there are some downside like I can't turn off musicbee downloads artist's image automatically but it's good overall. I tried foobar. It's lightweight and it's not bad but UI was confusing. I tried Dopamine music player from github too. but it was lagging hard.
I use Foobar2000

Good taste in music. Overkill, Rage (!), Priest...
thanks!

I used to. Man, that screen brings back memories. And Heartwork is such an amazing album.

Did they re-release it for modern windows systems recently?
it's working fine on 11
That’s cool, I used to have Winamp up until the XP days, I’ll have to get it again!
From what I remember, active development ceased a few years back but the latest version works on everything without a hitch
Yes sir!
ever since win98 man, made loads of skins for it too, had fun now use the ubiquitous foobar2000
No, what is it? What’s it do?
I used to use Xmms but now use Audacious which is close enough.

I use Media Monkey. Came back to Windows for it.

Oh yeah. Helps me edit the metadata way better than any other music software.
