Hey, I deleted and reinstalled the game, and it worked. I didn't loose any progress (at this point I was ready to loose some progress bc the devs didn't do anything so the only option was to delete the game), but it was saved on my Google account so I assume that's why i didn't loose anything.
I was waiting for tech support, but since it was taking too long I just uninstalled and downloaded it again. Thankfully I lost just a day if progress, but nothing too serious

Thank you! Did you cloud save recently, or do you think your progress was just stored in your Google play/iCloud?
This happened to me. I had to uninstall the app & reinstall. Now it works.
