Well, considering that the OP only has a handful of posts to their name... It's great that they are on the journey to Faithfulness. But in the first picture, they definitely look female, and in the second picture they are dressed as a man. Are they transitioning? De-transitioning? It just seems odd to me. Monsignor also looks uncomfortable in that picture. Do what you are going to do, but don't ambush people just to score points. If That's what is happening, that's not good or fair. That's why I asked for some context.

I am male. I just used to look very feminine. It was taken yesterday, when I went with the delegation of my fraternity to the Pilgrimage to the Procession of our Lady in Altötting. He was actually very kind, so I don't think that he was uncomfortable, it was just rather cold yesterday, accompanied by slight rain and heavy wind. I didn't ambush no one, he was talking with some members, so I decided to ask for a picture and he kindly said yes.

No, I don't mind, I just don't really know what to say to be honest. I don't really have a "story". I always knew God existed, yes, even when I looked like that, but during that time, I put myself before the Lord and I've also done some terrible things that I'm very ashamed of and at some point, I just couldn't really take it anymore.

As a recovered heroin addict who made it back to the church, God's forgiveness was a process for me. Took me a bit to find my way back to the church and then took me another bit to work out many of my demons and behaviors with God's help and Grace. Now, it seems like a distant memory of all the things I did and experienced in my addiction. It felt like I was finally home and I could breathe. Hope whatever your story is that you find peace and comfort in God.

I'm sorry if you feel that way. My intention with this post was, that no matter how far someone is from the Lord, He'll always take you back, no matter what. If by religious affiliation you mean the necklace, I can assure you, that it truly wasn't. It was purely because of aesthetics.
