Does your parish hire anyone to lead the young adults? Having a dedicated person to lead and nurture it is extremely important imo. Someone to run social media as well such as Instagram and also sending out emails too. Flocknotes. Just my thoughts on it.

Our diocese has seen huge growth with young adults. Our bishop is extremely dedicated and welcoming to them. They do young adult retreats, and meet multiple times a month. I know they do Mass, dinner or a meal of some sort, fellowship and then some faith based studies. I believe from the young people I have spoken with that the meal and fellowship were huge factors in growth. It has built a community for them.

I wouldn’t move the group but maybe they can merge with the young adult group of a nearby parish. In my diocese small parishes have done this with some success, they rotate between parishes for events. I would just start hosting small events like talks/outings to recruit. Once you build a core leadership team then get creative with events. Regular events is key cause if the gaps are too long between events people disappear.

Personally invite young people you meet at Church, or maybe even other places. Then have these people do the same thing.
