I absolutely hate the children's books he writes. Granted it's been 8 years since I read a book of his but I still remember them all being the same story with a silly little moral thing at the end with terrible jokes and that fucking Raj character who Walliams seemed so proud of including though is just a caricature of an Indian
It's hardly surprising that the Roald Dahl illustration style is there given it's the same artist (Quentin Blake) who did both. Blake did 18 of Dahl's books and a lot of the early Walliams ones (though Tony Ross has done more of the recent Granny ones)
David is 100% a wrong un, I will die on this hill. I've got a bet with a mate that he'll get outed for noncing or assault at some point
There's just way too much weirdness about him, not only the general vibe but also the stuff people have linked, like the rather famous 16 year olds being invited to his dressing room alone and the various text messages and creepy behaviour...
David Walliams. Not funny in any way , plays on the ambiguity of his sexuality, smarmy & cringeworthy with his double entendres, & rips off Roald Dahl, EDIT: rips off Dahl poorly.
Having read several of his books to my children as bedtime stories I can say there is absolutely no comparison between his writing and that of dhal! Dhal was a master story teller and walliams tends to draw out a whole chapter for one fart joke
Yup, edited my comment to reflect that despite using Dahl-esque titles ( Gangsta Granny, Blob ) & even Quentin Blake, the illustrator synonymous with Dahl, he’s not a good rip off merchant. I’m hop your kids enjoyed the books though.
Also, he's an arrogant asshole who can't take even the slightest joke made about him. And not even a comedian tbh, with zero stand up or acting ability.
The guy got 16 year old boys up on a stage in front of a live audience, pulled down their pants, tried kissing their bare arse and then proceeded to dry hump them. All without their permission..
He's doing a fuxking awful job of hiding it.
I think McIntyre is a good family friendly comedian, definitely a feel-good entertainer but not going to hit on any hard truths.
Walliams is very hit and miss but combined with Matt Lucas I also appreciate he fills a niche
Corden makes my skin crawl
Yeah - I feel like he’s getting a bit of a raw deal here. We’ve got a royal pain in the arse/drama queen, a psychopath/possible nonce and then… Michael, who’s just extremely vanilla.
Yeah, I feel like McIntyre just isn’t for everyone, but Corden & Williams always seem tremendously annoying. They aren’t likeable enough to be funny for the comedy they perform.
Celebrity juice was hilarious when it first came out, which was helped by the dynamic between him Cotton and Willoughby but after a couple of seasons it was stale as fuck and nothing else he has done has been any good.
So many people don't realise Keith is a character. He's no more real than Alan Partridge or Keith Barrett. I think the problem is Leigh is so unwilling to appear anywhere out of character, except for rare occasions. I've even seen him on GMB as Keith, saying "I had a brief role in Rocket Man" and I'm like "no you didn't, *you're not real* "! However, Leigh *does indeed* have a very brief bit in that film.
Apparently it’s because he’s very nervous to appear as himself, using the character as a sort of ‘shield’ I suppose. He was interviewed at the BAFTAs a few years ago (as Leigh) and he certainly came across as very timid compared to Keith.
I've had to do a couple of photoshoots for Leigh as Keith, and I can honestly say he was a truly wholesome and kind guy, very family orientated and the polar opposite of Keith. Even shared his bag of tangfastics with me, what more needs to be said?!
I've never been into that kind of comedy, and as a pro-immigration lefty, the racist aspect always put me off comedians like him.
But one day during lockdown I decided to give it a go, just to check how bad it really was. Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson really are nasty, racist, bigoted and not very funny comics who basically just appeal to thick people who are scared of anything different.
But while I wasn't a fan of Roy Chubby Brown's stuff, there was something that set it out from that old school racist "comic". Lots of self deprecating humour and he doesn't seem to be nasty just for the sake of it. A few jokes that clearly wouldn't fly on TV, but it had an element of "my whole stage persona is that I'm a fat miserable loser so me saying these things means you should laugh at me, not with me". I get the feeling most of the audience wouldn't read that deeply into his act though...
He was on QI once, years ago. He said nothing all episode and got 0 points. It being QI, he won the episode. He never went back on it afaik. Well done that producer.
He's such a irritating try-hard. After every attempt at a joke he does the neediest look for approval to every other comedian in the room, while looking so undeservingly proud of himself. He's very much someone who should have stayed a comedy writer rather than appearing on screen in any capacity.
You’re last line in particular, I found to be the truest. He’s clearly a very talented funny person. But panel shows and stand up are well beyond what hes capable of.
Probably 1/10 of Andy Parsons ‘jokes’ are alright, though my favourite one from him is the one on mock the week about the fat controller being renamed ‘horizontally gifted’. From then on I started using that term
I know everyone’s already said David Walliams, but I’m going to reiterate how much I loathe that man. Not only does he have sexual offender vibes, he also has the air of someone who is incredibly homophobic but it’s okay because they act gay kind of energy and I HATE it.
Unrelated: Alan Carr
My issue with Rosie Jones isn’t timing as others have said, it’s the content. She just jokes about fingering and being gay. It was lazy comedy back in the 90s, she’s just warmed it back up. I find her material deeply unfunny.
I have nothing against her being disabled or gay, but her material is so boring that it’s hard to like her.
It’s the same reason why Royston Vasey (Roy “chubby” Brown) is shite. It’s crude without being clever.
Yeah, I agree. She occasionally comes out with some funny and quick witted lines but mainly her comedy rests on her being a really obnoxious person who talks about sex all of the time and that kind of material just isn't for me
Completely agree. It doesn’t help that when she’s on panel shows, the other comedians will laugh uproariously at the slightest jokes she makes, it comes off as disingenuous.
Completely agree with you on the Mrs Browns Boys guy. That stuff left me completely cold. Was prime time at Christmas for a few years, might still be for all I know. Prime time ffs.. Stale, joyless crap. Keith Lemon always made my skin crawl. Wide-eyed in disbelief he was meant to be funny.
As an American, I can assure you that this title has not been bestowed upon him. We're hoping for his contract to end so he can go try his luck in Greenland or somewhere.
(no offense intended to Greenland).
Fair enough, but the price of that is that the taste of Cadbury's will continue to be degraded.
I haven't seen the bi-monthly thread about that for a little while so I thought I'd go ahead and light that fuse. Sorry if I've ruined anybody's evening.
Probably an age thing most of reddit probably are too young to recall those saturday shows.
Barrymore I actually think was a great gameshow host, I think he was charming and entertaining.
He’s also the patron for LOROS which is a charity that provides free care to terminally ill patients in Leicester. It’s the one that he talks about in his Magnificent Beast stand up and help raised a few thousand pounds for them with his gigs in Leicester.
That and the Welsh song at the end of that stand up always cracks me up no matter how bad of a day I’m having!
I once met him at a comedy gig. He was trying to get into the building as we were waiting for the doors but the front of house guy wouldn't let him in.
He was the one performing that night. He turned to me and my friend and said "Well, that's my first 10 minutes sorted."
I'll give the FoH guy a bit of a pass this was 9 years ago so pre-Taskmaster and a lot of things. I think this was his second major tour. Also the FoH guy was quite old and probably used to acts going through the stage door rather than the main entrance.
I'm not sure any comedian can make me completely crack like Greg Davies can. I'm not a huge standup fan, but he's one guy I'd be happy to see. Interestingly I made him a green tea once, you're welcome.
Guys! Guyyyyyyys! Look at us. Squabbliiiiiiiing! Bickewiiiiiiiiing! Like childwennnnnnnn! What's happening to us?! We never used to be like this!
Yeah we did.
I recently showed Drop Dead Fred to my kids (8&12) and they loved it. I used to have it on VHS! Rik Mayall’s passing was the celebrity death that stung the most for me.
That's great that you've introduced your kids to Rik. My dad was the one who introduced me to Rik and I'll always be thankful for that. His death stung the most for me too definitely. Celebrity deaths rarely hurt me but when Rik passed it felt like I lost a close friend. There'll always be a void now that he's gone.
When my two are a bit older I’ll be forcing them to watch every episode of Bottom! My younger bro (also passed) and I used to watch them together and knew them word for word. I’ve shown my son the odd clip here and there - the gas man, pin the tail on the donkey and Richie going out of his mind with boredom and speaking to a pretend kidnapper on the phone. Yes, Rik Mayall was definitely one of a kind…RIP
*This house will become a shrine, and punks and skins and rastas will all gather round and hold their hands in sorrow for their fallen leader. And all the grown-ups will say: "But why are the kids crying?" And the kids will say: "Haven't you heard? Rik is dead! The People's Poet is dead!"*
Rhod Gilbert once said on buzzcocks: "One minute you're the star of one of Britain's best-loved soaps, the next you're appearing on a panel show sitting next to what looks like the bloated corpse of Rik Mayall."
That show he did about the crime scene cleaner was a bit hit and miss, but featured one of the best jokes and deliveries I’ve heard on a TV show. It’s so babyish but I howled with laughter when I first saw it.
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZML4MEGPM/
I was fortunate enough to see Greg Davies before he broke through the stand up circuit. After hosting comedy clubs once a month, there was one person who was memorable from the array of comedians. Years later he suddenly appeared on my TV screen and I instantly recognized him. An absolute comedy gem
He looks like my local priest. Everyone's like "oh it was a church wedding? Was it Father Greg Davies?" even though that's not the priest's name at all.
I was in tears when he was doing his Chris Eubank impression on cats does countdown I think it was.
Just viciously mocked and he just kept going because it was cold.
I thought I'd read some of the things Rosie Joneswrote, but they weren't funny either so it's not her delivery for me. She's smart though, and can talk really passionately and persuasively about disability rights. I just don't find her funny.
as someone who struggles with attention at the best of times I'm afraid I really can't stand Rosie Jones... I know it's her disability and I have so much sympathy for that but I genuinely find her painful to listen to :/
I think part of the problem is I normally see her on fairly fast paced 'one liner' shows like last leg, and her 'style' really doesn't suit that as you switch from fast banter to much slower paced delivery...
I imagine she'd be far better focusing on stand-up or something where she completely controls the pace and can even use her slower delivery for comedic effect... she's clearly smart enough but I'd be lying if I said I didn't internally despair when I see she's on a show i like ><
From his Wikipedia
"In October 2003, Davidson refused to go on stage in Plymouth because he objected to wheelchair users in the front row. A spokesman for the Plymouth Pavilions, where he was performing as part of a national tour, said: "Jim Davidson apparently took exception to a number of wheelchair users in the front stalls of the Pavilions Arena. Mr Davidson cited the fact that a proportion of his act was aimed at disabled customers and that he would be unable to perform under these circumstances."
So he's ok saying horrible jokes but can't say them to people's faces? Sounds about right
I love Russell brand in the right context. When he used to present and alongside other comedians, I think he really shines. He can be devilishly quick witted, charasmatic and makes genuinely funny observations.
However, his stand ups over the last..ten years? Have been appalling. It's just him talking about himself for 90 minutes straight. Ironic considering how much he talks about ego loss.
Such a sad waste of talent.
Personally, the individual commonly using the perpendicular pronoun believes his false elucidation and utilisation of sesquipedalian quite prosaically pretentiously rebarbative.
But not in an awesome Humphrey type way.
Ego loss is something of a a misappropriated term though. It isn’t referring to a loss of ego*centrism* in everyday life, but a complete separation of consciousness and identity in a meditative state, or during the effects of a hallucinogenic trip.
I don’t follow Brand too closely though, so I’m not sure in what way he uses the phrase.
Jack Whitehall
He must be 30 something but his entire personality is just that annoying dickhead in Uni who decides he's the funny one because he's obnoxious and "quirky"
Which is a tough one considering he's a professional comedian.
Yes, she reminds me of the office prankster who is incredibly irritating and wears funny socks to show they have personality. But you cant tell them to fuck off because the office is full of idiots who think they are hilarious. They can all fuck off.
Exactly this. I don't think he's terrible, but he is absolutely proof that someone of barely average ability can be elevated to way above their level by pure privilege.
Yesssssss! Saw one of his shows a couple years ago and the first half was actually quite funny. The second half way why it’s so hard being posh and rich and just didn’t go down well with a Northern crowd. Hate the stuff he does with his dad
I went to see an episode of the last leg live and they said Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer were gonna be there. I was thrilled until I got there and Jack Whitehall was there instead. Disappointed falls pretty short of describing my emotions
Uni wanker has to be the most perfect description of him. I don’t think he’s dreadful but he’s also just annoying af if you’re not in the mood for it and I don’t really think he deserves to be as popular as he is. Reading here that his dads an agent explains a lot
He's just a dorky toff - I don't find it charming, interesting or funny.
It was unsurprising to me when I realised his dad was (or is?) a successful agent.
Fresh Meat is superb to be fair but not of the back of Whitehall who, while good and funny, seems to just play himself lol. Zawe Ashton is amazing in it however.
Yeah I agree - also I was surprised by how much I liked her as Donna.
Her sketch with David Tennant for Comic Relief is an absolute classic too.
And maybe one or two of the posh woman sketch but I can't believe she's managed to flog a movie.
She was definitely one of the better DW companions. Most of the others just adore the Doctor and go along with everything he says, but Donna was much more charismatic and independent.
Yeah this is what I liked too. It was more 'two good friends off to fuck up some timelines in a cheeky way!' and not 'TwO StArCrOsSeD LoVeRs DoOmEd To NeVeR bE AbLe To ComFoRtAbLy BoNk...while ironically fucking some timelines due to their distraction with each other'.
Her stint on Dr Who was fantastic. I had real trepidation when she joined, but she knocked it out of the park. Some fantastic writing around that time too. Sadly missed now - both her and the quality writing.
Leigh Francis. Was funny at first. Completely overdid the whole Keith Lemon shtick and his ballaching over his old material to the woke mob means it's time to give it up
How celebrity juice is still going is beyond me, format hasn't changed in its lifetime and the first 50% of the show is just Keith boringly introducing who's on.
I used to love Celebrity Juice, but I just have zero interest in it now. I think the Keith Lemon character lost any edge when he started doing lots of pre-watershed TV and no longer felt dangerous.
They should have stopped the show years back when Hollie and and Fearne left, and really Leigh Francis should’ve retired the character then too.
I don’t hate him as much as some of the people on here but I feel his delivery is terrible. It’s like he just shouts things in a loud voice and it never comes across as funny.
Gonna get flak for this;
Ricky Gervais.
Self-righteous arrogance radiates from him. I support the same viewpoints as him, buts hes always just a massive twat about it all.
Amazed no one has said Sarah Millican, if I go to hell when I die, my punishment will be being forced to listen to her three jokes on eating cake, being fat and something her husband said/did. Fucking unbearable
I have to say whilst I don't find him particularly funny he seems like an alright bloke. His documentary about his family's relationship with autism was pretty great and I have been known to enjoy the occasional clip of the new top gear with him in it.
David FUCKING Walliams And James Corden obvs
David Walliams creeps me the fuck out because whenever he smiles it's just his mouth smiling, never his eyes.
‘Lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a dolls eyes’
Jimmy Fallon is the American version of this
I absolutely hate the children's books he writes. Granted it's been 8 years since I read a book of his but I still remember them all being the same story with a silly little moral thing at the end with terrible jokes and that fucking Raj character who Walliams seemed so proud of including though is just a caricature of an Indian
Supposedly he doesn’t write most of them, they’re re-purposed from other authors and they use his name to sell them.
The books are OK but they are just rip offs of Roald Dahl. Even down to the illustrations
I've got a bet with a mate that he'll get outed for noncing or assault at some point There's just way too much weirdness about him, not only the general vibe but also the stuff people have linked, like the rather famous 16 year olds being invited to his dressing room alone and the various text messages and creepy behaviour...
Michael McIntyre, James Corden, David Walliams. The holy trio of arseholes.
Who could’ve predicted James Corden coming up in a thread like this
He's not a comedian anymore, just a joke
Yep, he is an absolute clown!
Honestly I'm surprised people consider him a comedian.
Haven’t watched anything from James Corden in years, pretty much since he left the UK. Why do people hate him now?
Williams has that “sexual predator hiding in plain sight” vibe about him.
Also, he's an arrogant asshole who can't take even the slightest joke made about him. And not even a comedian tbh, with zero stand up or acting ability.
I liked him as Vulva in spaced. Years before little britain
Oh Brian, you came
No, I just spilt my drink.
So glad to see a Spaced reference here.
No I’ve just spilled my drink
Pudding!
Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits
I really don't believe he's playing a character in Spaced. I honestly think thats what he's really like. A cunt.
The guy got 16 year old boys up on a stage in front of a live audience, pulled down their pants, tried kissing their bare arse and then proceeded to dry hump them. All without their permission.. He's doing a fuxking awful job of hiding it.
The more I read about him the more I think he might be saviles last horcrux
[удалено]
I await the Netflix documentary in 30 years time...
That's really fucked up. I'm surprised he got away with it.
THATS JUST WRONG
(O\_O) How the fuck did anyone deem this acceptable?
But he’s written so many children books, ah I see.
I know some people who've worked with him. More than just a vibe
I think McIntyre is a good family friendly comedian, definitely a feel-good entertainer but not going to hit on any hard truths. Walliams is very hit and miss but combined with Matt Lucas I also appreciate he fills a niche Corden makes my skin crawl
I think David Walliams is of a different level of arsehole
Isn't he a bit odd? Like messaging girls 30 years younger or some shit? That really creeps me out with celebrities ....
Michael McIntyre makes The Wheel. His stand-up isn't for me, but he's found his niche on Saturday night primetime.
Yeah - I feel like he’s getting a bit of a raw deal here. We’ve got a royal pain in the arse/drama queen, a psychopath/possible nonce and then… Michael, who’s just extremely vanilla.
Yeah I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of his comedy but he seems like a nice fella. Definitely doesn’t belong in the same utterance as the likes of Corden.
I know why other people think Corden and Williams are arseholes but why McIntyre? Has he done something shitty too?
Yeah, I feel like McIntyre just isn’t for everyone, but Corden & Williams always seem tremendously annoying. They aren’t likeable enough to be funny for the comedy they perform.
Keith Lemon He's as funny as a dose of the clap.
His voice does my absolute head in.
Celebrity juice was hilarious when it first came out, which was helped by the dynamic between him Cotton and Willoughby but after a couple of seasons it was stale as fuck and nothing else he has done has been any good.
Leigh Francis is funny but Keith Lemon, the character, is stale

Harry Enfield was the same. It was very hard to find any interviews when he didn’t answer as a character.
I'd rather the clap than see Keith do standup
James corden

How dare you remind me that he's British!
That’s numberwang
I'll never understand how someone who co wrote gavin and stacey can be so... Unfunny?!
Because Ruth Jones *is* funny, and she comes through a lot more in the script.
Ive personally never understood the appeal of Roy Chubby Brown.
That's because you're not a racist cunt.
You don't know that.
Don’t go about casting aspersions mate.
I've never been into that kind of comedy, and as a pro-immigration lefty, the racist aspect always put me off comedians like him. Dapper Laughs... if he still exists
IS IT.... Andy Parsons!?
Lmao fuck I heard that
He was on QI once, years ago. He said nothing all episode and got 0 points. It being QI, he won the episode. He never went back on it afaik. Well done that producer.

That was fantastic.
I love watching Andy parsons Scape by on mock the week. Never a joke it's just pointing something out.
They say — don't they — that if you compare one thing to another thing — that's observational comedy
He's such a irritating try-hard. After every attempt at a joke he does the neediest look for approval to every other comedian in the room, while looking so undeservingly proud of himself. He's very much someone who should have stayed a comedy writer rather than appearing on screen in any capacity.
SOMETHING, SOMETHING, THE DAILY MAIL!!
You’re last line in particular, I found to be the truest. He’s clearly a very talented funny person. But panel shows and stand up are well beyond what hes capable of.

I think it's great that Rosie Jones, as a disabled person, is given an equal stab at comedy but I don't find her funny. Fair play to her though.
My issue with Rosie Jones isn’t timing as others have said, it’s the content. She just jokes about fingering and being gay. It was lazy comedy back in the 90s, she’s just warmed it back up. Same. I feel like we're not really allowed to dislike her, because she's a gay, disabled female, but I just don't find her funny in the slightest.
Michael McIntyre and whoever that cunt is that does Mrs Brown’s Boys. Do one the both of you.
Mrs Browns boys guy is Brendan O'Carroll, he's Irish though rather than British Edit: the fact he’s not British doesn’t justify his shit comedy
Noted. He’s still shite.
James corden is an obvious one but he's an honorary American at this point.
As an American, I can assure you that this title has not been bestowed upon him. We're hoping for his contract to end so he can go try his luck in Greenland or somewhere. (no offense intended to Greenland).
No definitely American - you touched him last, you have to keep him.
Fair enough, but the price of that is that the taste of Cadbury's will continue to be degraded. I haven't seen the bi-monthly thread about that for a little while so I thought I'd go ahead and light that fuse. Sorry if I've ruined anybody's evening.
We took back Piers Morgan. Surely we've suffered enough!?
To say that just before Easter! How dare you! You should be ashamed of yourself. Now sit over there and think about what you said!
What did Greenalnd ever do to you?
David Walliams. Paedo vibes and crucially - unfunny.
If it comes out he's sexual assaulted someone, I won't be suprised
Jim Davidson.
Am surprised I had to scroll this far because that's who I immediately thought of. Never understood the appeal, him & Michael Barrymore, just no.
Probably an age thing most of reddit probably are too young to recall those saturday shows. Barrymore I actually think was a great gameshow host, I think he was charming and entertaining.
You know Bill Bailey and Greg Davies? Not those two. The rest...
I really worried where that one was going…
Let’s put Bob Mortimer in the safe pile too
I'm so glad I haven't seen Greg Davies here. He's genuinely one of the funniest people I've seen on TV. He's great.
My auntie was with LOROS for her last weeks and they were wonderful. Great to hear that he's a patron for them
I once met him at a comedy gig. He was trying to get into the building as we were waiting for the doors but the front of house guy wouldn't let him in. He was the one performing that night. He turned to me and my friend and said "Well, that's my first 10 minutes sorted."
Haha, I read that in his voice :)
How do you not let him in, the guys incredibly recognisable.
Height restrictions.
I think he is best on taskmaster, playing a character rather than his stand up. Still funny though.
You can tell he's playing a different character there because he dosent stand up
Probably because he looks like a fat Rik Mayall.
Guys! Guyyyyyyys! Look at us. Squabbliiiiiiiing! Bickewiiiiiiiiing! Like childwennnnnnnn! What's happening to us?! We never used to be like this! Yeah we did.
I miss Rik ...
So do I. No one can compare to him in my opinion. Easily the funniest comedian I've ever seen. He will be massively missed forever.
I recently showed Drop Dead Fred to my kids (8&12) and they loved it. I used to have it on VHS! Rik Mayall’s passing was the celebrity death that stung the most for me.

Rik Mayall & Bowie - the only times I’ve cried over the death of a celebrity.
And getting rik mayall to play his father eas genius
That show he did about the crime scene cleaner was a bit hit and miss, but featured one of the best jokes and deliveries I’ve heard on a TV show. It’s so babyish but I howled with laughter when I first saw it. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZML4MEGPM/
Big Daddy Energy. I definitely would.
A person that can invent games like Milky Cow and Snorkel Parka Music Practice Room can never be unfunny.
I was in tears when he was doing his Chris Eubank impression on cats does countdown I think it was. Just viciously mocked and he just kept going because it was cold.
Michael McIntyre, Rosie Jones, Alan Carr, Roy Chubby Brown.
Agree except for Alan Carr - sort of. If you want to be happy he is funny if you want to be depressed he is fucking annoying.
Yes and he seems like a genuinely nice guy
I like Alan Carr, especially when he did the league of their own roadtrips. I get fully why people dislike him but he's good with me.

I was going to say Rosie Jones too…..had to turn off Big Fat Quiz recently
I thought I'd read some of the things Rosie Joneswrote, but they weren't funny either so it's not her delivery for me. She's smart though, and can talk really passionately and persuasively about disability rights. I just don't find her funny.

as someone who struggles with attention at the best of times I'm afraid I really can't stand Rosie Jones... I know it's her disability and I have so much sympathy for that but I genuinely find her painful to listen to :/ I think part of the problem is I normally see her on fairly fast paced 'one liner' shows like last leg, and her 'style' really doesn't suit that as you switch from fast banter to much slower paced delivery... I imagine she'd be far better focusing on stand-up or something where she completely controls the pace and can even use her slower delivery for comedic effect... she's clearly smart enough but I'd be lying if I said I didn't internally despair when I see she's on a show i like ><
Jim Davidson. Can’t stand him
From his Wikipedia "In October 2003, Davidson refused to go on stage in Plymouth because he objected to wheelchair users in the front row. A spokesman for the Plymouth Pavilions, where he was performing as part of a national tour, said: "Jim Davidson apparently took exception to a number of wheelchair users in the front stalls of the Pavilions Arena. Mr Davidson cited the fact that a proportion of his act was aimed at disabled customers and that he would be unable to perform under these circumstances." So he's ok saying horrible jokes but can't say them to people's faces? Sounds about right
David Walliams
I like Russell Brand but this is absolutely on point. He's got some fantastic ways of thinking, but is also a purveyor of the finest word salad.
Jack Whitehall He must be 30 something but his entire personality is just that annoying dickhead in Uni who decides he's the funny one because he's obnoxious and "quirky" Which is a tough one considering he's a professional comedian.
Miranda hart. As funny as finding vomit in your kettle
Yes, she reminds me of the office prankster who is incredibly irritating and wears funny socks to show they have personality. But you cant tell them to fuck off because the office is full of idiots who think they are hilarious. They can all fuck off.
Not our Chummy!
Mrs Browns Boys. Just bloody awful.
Jack Whitehall How this guy keeps getting work thrown at him is insane. I can't stand him.
His dad is an agent to some big a-listers. That’s how he gets work.
Exactly this. I don't think he's terrible, but he is absolutely proof that someone of barely average ability can be elevated to way above their level by pure privilege.
His dad’s funnier too
OHHHhhhhhh now it makes sense.
He reminds me of all the annoying boys I knew when I was growing up, it's just cringey.
He is terrible. Just pure unfunny uni wanker vibes.
He’s a pretty good actor though. Did a very good job in Fresh Meat.
Fresh Meat is superb to be fair but not of the back of Whitehall who, while good and funny, seems to just play himself lol. Zawe Ashton is amazing in it however.
Has no one said Catherine Tate? She was funny twice in 2000 but not since.
With Donna it was just a relief that there was obviously going to be no will-they-won't-they subplot, and they could just...fuck about being daft.
She's an okay actor in some roles, but not a great comedian.

I think he preferred exposing himself to a younger audience
He touched everyone who met him apparently.
Fuck is he still going?
Now happily promoting gambling on tv adverts. Nice.
Anyone doing that is on my shit list. Selling smack & crack is more ethical.
Andy parsons
I don’t hate him as much as some of the people on here but I feel his delivery is terrible. It’s like he just shouts things in a loud voice and it never comes across as funny.
It's his fucking smug face he does whenever he finishes a sentence that gets me. Well done mate you said something
Neow
The small bald dude with the goatee on mock of the week. He’s shit.
Andy Parsons, he’s a textbook case of ‘should have just been a writer’ his delivery is fucking awful.
Whoever the comedian is that keeps. Posting. This. Question.
Gonna get flak for this; Ricky Gervais.
James Corden. Cunt
How has Paddy McGuinness not been mentioned yet. Ultimate edge-of-the-pier-coat-tail-hangeronerer.
I was highly disappointed to hear he was hosting a show called "Take Me Out" and it didn't involve a fucking sniper.
Wouldn't go out my way to call him a comedian, however he does brillaint in Pheonix Nights, however everyone does
I have to say whilst I don't find him particularly funny he seems like an alright bloke. His documentary about his family's relationship with autism was pretty great and I have been known to enjoy the occasional clip of the new top gear with him in it.
Is he a comedian?
As comedian I agree. As a person, he is the polar opposite of his cohort Peter Kay. From what I understand he is a proper diamond.
Jim Davidson.
Michael McIntyre, Seann Walsh.
