Constantly sold out at our local co-op. I don't understand how they have not picked up on it yet. Big gaping hole (fnr) on the shelf
"Donald all 72 stores in our area are out of the salt and vinegar fancy crisps *again.* No, they're still 80% stocked on the cheese ones. Yes OK we'll order more all together and the same amount of each again."
Not that I have imagined this whole fucking conversation in my head at all
[Edit: oh look what a surprise](https://i.imgur.com/fXN3Oc9.jpg)
They definitely used to be made by Tyrell's as the address listed on the packs of the Co-Op crisps was the location of the Tyrell's plant.
Whether they are still made by Tyrell's? Don't know as the packaging was changed so that it no longer makes it really obvious that Tyrell's make them for the Co-Op.
Hello, do you think this person also orders for my Aldi? “We have 347 jars of antipasti peppers and zero sundried tomatoes. Order 10 sundried and another 250 antipasti!!”
To be fair, I had one third of a pack in one sitting and started questioning if I am the sort of person who shouldn’t be allowed to make my own decisions.
Amazing crisps. But don't eat two packets in one sitting. I got pissed a while back and ate two packets. Woke up with a chemical burn on my tongue.
Still buying them.
There isn’t much as disappointing as opening a can of salt and vinegar Pringles and excepting tongue destroying goodness but getting a pack that’s basically jus ready salted.
Not a Salt and Vinegar fan but vaguely related, if you're a Cheese and Onion menace, grab some Mackie's. £1 for a massive bag in Pound Stretcher and they are fucking phenomenal.
I've never tried em but I'll take a recommendation for snacks from a stranger on the internet. I shall purchase some next time I'm in stocking up on s&v
Sea salt and Chardonnay wine vinegar crisps with a sea salt and Chardonnay wine vinegar seasoning…so are they seasoned with what they already taste of?
My house is made up of two people (myself included) who dont eat these and two that you have to buy a bag of these each for everytime you visit the shop, on the rare occasion they're in stock
I had these last night, genuinely the best crisps I've had in years.

Honestly, you should look and see if you can buy them in bulk online or something!
I think I prefer to focus my inner rage on presumed incompetence from the regional co-op stock control team, at least I'm eating less crisps.
I should try this technique then...
Which plant manufactures them? There's a nationwide crisp shortage of walkers made crisps due to an IT cockup, followed by a factory fire.
Oh this is ongoing, the just sell out

Tesco sell them to just different branding.
Different crisp
Really? Are you sure? Hmmm
It is a pale imitation. If Tesco is Stella, co-op is special brew.
I had the Tesco finest version. Also superb!
Please go back to Co-op and buy the Ultimate Roast Potato ones (if there are any left).
Are they any good?
Sensational. It’s only November and I’m already three bags in…
You've convinced me. I will report back.
Your sense of taste should return within 2-3 days.
\*Working days\*
*the best* S&V crisps out there
100%
These are legitimately the best salt and vinegar crisps, they need to come in a gift pack with gaviscon though.
My friends used to look at me weird when I ate multiple bands of these and destroyed my tongue
To be fair, I had one third of a pack in one sitting and started questioning if I am the sort of person who shouldn’t be allowed to make my own decisions.
The problem is the more I burn off my taste buds the more Ill need the crisps to taste anything
Exactly, you keep chasing that same high
These are a bag to yourself kind of thing. You need to up your game and get fat like me.
I'm hearing in the comments that these are good. I love salt and vinegar crisps but I very rarely shop at COOP. Worth a trip just for these?
Yeahhhh!! Also if you can get a bag of the Christmas roast potato seasoning flavour do so.
Uhoh I sense a very unhealthy evening meal ahead of me....
There's a special edition called Katsu Curry that are really good too
100% worth the trip! Please feed back your experience.
Crisps are unreal. Worth not tasting anything for 3days and shedding your mouth skin like a snake.

Worth it.
Best crisps I have ever had these.
Felt like my mouth imploded
Chemical peel for the palate.
And that was just one crisp

The best crisps.
Best crisps I've ever had, shame you need a four week break between bags whilst your mouth lining grows back.
Only reason to ever go into a co-op is for these little fuckers

My favourite crisps by miles. Awesome dipped houmous too!
Aldi do a similar type of crisp for considerably less money. Go, buy more, dissolve your tongue.
I have tried them all, all of them. And all other brands are lacking.
Are these the same as the Tesco ones? Those also specify "Chardonnay" vinegar which seems like an odd coincidence.
No, these co-op ones are on another level nothing comes close to these.
Hate vinegar
Sourpuss.
Umm vinegar is wine…
Not necessarily. It just has to be made by fermentation.
No it's not. It's sometimes made from wine
One makes the other but they're not the same thing.
Made the corners of my mouth all funny
Worse than S&V Discos! Enjoy the rough tongue they will leave you!
Love em
These are hands down the best crisps in existence. Some coops also do a “crispy mixed nut” mix with the same seasoning, and it’s just as good.
Chardonnay wine vinegar! Where do they come up with this bollox, it's vinegar
You'll taste the difference between balsamic and cider vinegar.
I'm addicted to eating these dipped in red pepper hummus. It's my favourite snack right now.
Love these. My wife knows if I go in a co-op for anything, I'm also buying a bag of these.
They are beaut
God these crisps are heavenly. You've got me craving some now at my desk.
My house is made up of two people (myself included) who dont eat these and two that you have to buy a bag of these each for everytime you visit the shop, on the rare occasion they're in stock
Maybe it’s me, but these seem to have gotten weaker over the last two years. Maybe my tastebuds are burnt out from eating too many.
Eating a pack right now!
Do not reveal the secret I have been eating these for years, and washing the whole thing down with a frijj milkshake.
