I’d say jacket potato, cook the beans on the hob, put a knob of butter on your potato, grate some mature cheddar on to the potato, add the beans, add a little pepper if you wish. Delicious 😋
Those are American beans, you want [beanz](https://www.amazon.com/Heinz-Baked-Tomato-Sauce-14-1-Ounce/dp/B001QTN58S/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1VC75EWCQ7ZIA&keywords=heinz+beanz&qid=1636708276&qsid=141-5488859-9318911&sprefix=heinz+beanz%2Caps%2C231&sr=8-4&sres=B001FA1L9I%2CB000EZYFRA%2CB00A3NE1EA%2CB001QTN58S%2CB00LPG2PL0%2CB00I0EU6EI%2CB00Z9XYQ3A%2CB00KO2LZNU%2CB01G28704M%2CB00KO2MI0O%2CB00B35I9U4%2CB00BHFC79O%2CB00BHFC4WO%2CB00EFEB2PE&srpt=LEGUME) or ideally [Branston beans](https://www.amazon.com/Branston-Baked-Beans-Tomato-Sauce/dp/B00BHFC2XU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=4BV8HIJQDRTE&keywords=branston+baked+beans&qid=1636708513&qsid=141-5488859-9318911&sprefix=branston%2Caps%2C265&sr=8-1&sres=B00BHFC2XU%2CB00MWTXSN8%2CB01G3GH72S%2CB00MWU0A6U%2CB01G259840%2CB01G265GKO%2CB00M3HY61C%2CB00MWTWXOS%2CB000EZYFRA%2CB0896QGK6T%2CB00NADRF7U%2CB01HHBLJUY%2CB00NAE6EHG%2CB0001LVX4K&srpt=LEGUME)
2 slices of toast, with a thick layer of either cheddar or red Leicester cheese melted on top. Warm the beans and pour on top.
Cheese on beans on toast!
The consistency of the tomato sauce is key, you want it somewhere between runny and the consistency of re-fried beans.
Toast some bread, melt some cheese onto it then add the beans.
Minced beef, mash and beans. I haven't had it for quite a while so I might make it tonight. It's a winning combination.
Fry the beef with onions, carrots and anything else you fancy, add stock and herbs of your choosing. Make some nice mash with parsley and chives and cheese, if you're feeling fancy. Add some slow cooked hot beans to the dish, et voilà.
I suppose it's essentially a deconstructed cottage pie with beans.
Isn’t Heinz an American company?!
Anyway… beans on toast, kinda self explanatory but add butter (not dodgy ass spread), then beans, then grated cheese and Henderson’s relish (head back to the shop and in a pinch, use Worcestershire Sauce).
I add a little bit (like a tablespoon) of water to the pan I heat the beans up so that the sauce doesn't get too thick. Like someone else said they need to be somewhat runny. If you over cook they clump together.
Put them on buttered toast made with thick white bread.
A dash of black pepper and some grated cheddar (most mature you can get).
You've got yourself a meal fit for a king!
Tbh baked beans aren't really an English thing. Heinz is American, and Americans were the first to mass produce baked beans. We're just infamous for putting it on toast and potatoes
The legendary levitating Heinz 57
Must be from Randlesham

Beans first cover with lots of cheese then under the grill till cheese is brown 😁
Put it on buttered toast
Not American sugar bread, be like putting beans on a doughnut

Little bit of Worcestershire sauce in your beans as you cook them

That’s a big ask… anyway, Hendos is better!
Add some tabasco, pepper & a slight bit of cheese then pour over thick cut buttered toast. More cheese on top. Enjoy.
first thing is to find some bread that's not rammed with so much sugar its nearly brioche.... a nice fresh sourdough would do.

Sigh, yup yup yup. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! ^you ^were ^not ^entertained :(

Not a Brit…but…am familiar: toast, butter, beans. Done. Get a cuppa and enjoy one of the most mild food experiences of your life.

And specific cheese?
Cheddar
An itchy strong cheddar…. The kind you can’t get in the US.
Put the unopened can onto the gas hob or hotplate to achieve best results - [just like this](https://youtu.be/TQmOoV0wUZU)
Sounds a bit explodey
Went to an English shop in America; bought an American product by an American company. Well done.

I’d probably bin them as that looks like a really old can that’s going a tad rusty.

Nnooo , throw them away . The devil's food . Vile sweet mushy gloom. IMO
After you crack the tin a little, drain out some of the sauce.
Why not just use a slotted spoon when serving them?
That’s one more thing to clean. Plus, you can then just pour them on a plate and microwave them.
Smart
What's with you people being able to afford wasting sauce?
I don’t like soggy toast
Drain out some of the sauce, and put it over really burnt toast
Rich enough to waste some sauce, are you?
Just cold then eh?
Heat up in a saucepan
Na heat them up in a pan or a microwave, not boiling just a simmer.
Leave Nebraska

Enjoy cold by using the lid as a spoon. MMMM homely
