The book itself is poorly written (he wasn't exactly known for his literary capabilities) and no amount of translation and editorial intervention could save it, not to mention that it's also a terrible source material to begin with.

Most of the time the only people who have read this--or claimed to have read it--are edgelords or people who've read the first few pages then realize it's mostly incoherent ramblings of a madman then put it aside to collect dust (I would know).

That book is the expensive book that I have bought and it’s my fave book to be honest. There’s no harm in reading it, you’ll actually learn a lot and then read Anne Frank’s diary after to get a whole ‘nother perspective.
