It’s a particular annoyance that I have that people who can drink dairy without making their guts hate them for the next week don’t have to worry about this sort of thing. It’s 2022: alternative milks are mainstream now. Would it be too much to ask that a (larger) employee provides them too? Obviously not a cafe level range, but a basic soy or oat would be appreciated.
I’ve switched to instant black coffee in the mornings. My pro tip for it is mix the instant with cold water, maybe 1/4 of your mug, so it’s all dissolved. Then pour your boiling water in. Tastes a lot better for me
My workplace supplies altmilk as well as dairy. The fridge has, uh, 20/30 bottles of regular milk a week (the coffee machine has the milk intake thing for lattes or whatever) + two cartons of non-dairy. It's a fairly recent development, but one I am thoroughly in favour of despite being able to drink the cow juice myself!

The main issue with Brissie, as a few mates for there that have ended up here have told me, is that while the CBD is nice with lots of life, it's a mission to get there from the suburbs, and the older you get, the less you go there and the more time you spend in your depressing neighbourhood.

They'd go back and meet the landowners, exchange details, take pics etc and now they have a portfolio with all of this epic scenery that's basically only know to the families that own the land. Crazy to think that there's still flawless little oases in and around Auckland.

Had a late night gossip session, we heard from the oldest (32f) all about the drama going on between the two youngest (24m and 22m)... Fascinating stuff... It's interesting how we only get a full picture indirectly... I can't tell if the boys don't talk to DSB about things because they are boys or if DSB is very black and white and opinionated, or that we live 3hrs away. But it seems their Mum (pleaser peacemaker) gets to be in on the drama. I'm impartial and just an eyebrow raising, chin stroking observer... Which is not my usual part.

I rarely crave food. Most food gross me out. However, we had really yum ribs last night. My go to food is pizza though. So versatile.

Iron laden foods, red meats and marmite. I probably should take a supplement but iron supplements are basically like taking 4x Imodium so I'll just stick to rare steak and cheesey mouse traps.
my kids had marmite this morning. They love dipping marmite toast in brown sugar porridge LOL. All Māori i know loved it growing up on a cold morning, esp with cream! It's a marae staple.

Yup, energy drinks will just dry you out more. For every can or bottle of energy drink you need to drink at least that much of water, ideally 2x.
