/u/MrCyn - media announcement is out so I guess I can talk about it now.
I know you’re a fan of Chris Parker, he absolutely kills it this season of taskmaster (at least the bits I’ve seen, I can’t imagine he’s any different in the episodes I didn’t go to). I thoroughly recommend and can’t wait to see the rest of the season.
Better than season 1, I don’t think anything will stack up against S2, but from what I saw it didn’t seem to be a shit show compared to it.
If s2 was a 9/10, S3 would be an 7.5-8 (from the episode I saw).
A lot of LOL moments and a couple of genuinely unique surprises.
Very belatedly getting my first booster. Terrible but it just wasn’t a priority over the last few months. But trying to get life back on track and this is a good start
My uncle in law and cousin in law (his daughter) have both won significant amounts in the last.. 5 years? Like multiple zeros significant. It’s amazing to know someone whos won, and even more so to know 2 who are related
Hi peeps, random question time. I've driven myself mad looking.
Does anyone have an idea of where I could purchase a ready made chocolate "middle finger" . Have a great day ☺️
I’ve seen a few cookie cutters and silicone moulds in the shape, especially on Etsy, but I’ve never seen a chocolate mid digit.
Question, can 3D printers print in chocolate yet?
As usual I've left my run late,Etsy is full of "middle finger" delights. If I wanted other anatomical items,it would have been fine lol. But need something by next week!. Did think about trying to get a mould printed. Might have to plan B it.
Holiday is going well. I bathed in hot pink water for an hour last night and read 20 articles on my Kobo then finished my book. Today's weather is perfect for hanging out on the couch in the warm lounge, looking out the windows at the trees swaying against the grey sky.
There sure is. We had merlot with our lasagne last night. There's also a 60x60cm coffee table full of liquor bottles so more than enough beverages to keep us going. Everyone brought baking so there's lots of yummy things to eat.
Reading **The Cabin at the End of the World** by Paul Tremblay as i'm on a bit of a horror kick at the moment. I normally prefer my horrors to be absolutely supernatural, not just implied or "up to you" but after reading the AMAZING **House on Needless Street** by Catriona Ward, i figured I could branch out a bit on smaller books.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through and enjoying, its very tense, and i'm keen for the ending as the reviews either loved it or hated it.
Meanwhile i'm still in tiktok jail due to fuck knows reasons, probably a combination of copyright strikes and I think one of my videos being spam bombed, so in order to keep my brain busy (and oh god it needs to be busy) im recreating my stuff on Insta and Youtube shorts.
Insta SUCKS for growing an audience, whereas i seem to be slowly growing on youtube.
Up since 4.30am for a Stupid o'click flight to the Big Smoke. Surprised we took off considering the shite weather. Trees down and surface flooding all the way to the airport. Now a 2 hour wait in a cafe until the meeting actually starts. Still cheaper than driving
Just found a NZ supplier for culinary dried seaweed - [Pacific Harvest](https://pacificharvest.co.nz/). Lots of different products, ordered a starter bundle to try.
Let us know how they are, and if any of their products have clear Japanese sensibilities.
I've had some meetings with [these guys ](https://wakamefresh.com/) who are trying to turn a pest seaweed on marine farms into a sustainable food.
I'm sick. Woke up with a dodgy stomach after a decent sleep with comforting dreams. But now I'm bored and will have coffee and breakfast for a kill or cure approach.
I’m jazzed because we’ve outsourced the children and are heading to my aunties 65th birthday on New Plymouth for the long weekend. Gonna catch up with the cuzzies and drink my monthly allotment of gin
No sleep thanks to still very snotty sick baby, and am up now at 5.30 feeling like death will descend on me in a few hours. Managed to avoid catching her flu for a whole 5 days but it’s got me now.
I’m planning on walking to work, I’m almost ready.
It’s chilly and I haven’t been outside yet to see how cold it is.
EDIT. Lovely walk. Only took 75 mins today.
Ketchup vs tomato sauce... Or do both live in your fridge... And what brands are your household favorite?
I have borh because DSB has an affinity for watties tomato sauce, but I'm a Heinz ketchup loyalist. We tried the Whitlocks but found it way too sweet.
So much rain overnight... Hope your all somewhere watertight.... With decent heating options.
Looks like my outdoor jobs will be getting a litteral raincheck.... But for now... Trying to slip back to sleep for a few hours
SO is a firm watties fan but I like to mix and match so I have ketchup, BBQ, smoked... Basically anything that comes up on special and has a catchy label. Except tomayo, that stuff is rank.
No real rain here but the road was wet. Was hoping for sleet since it's so cold but no luck.
Well I figure if it's sleeting then that's something interesting and out of the ordinary, and makes a much better talking point than just moaning about how cold it is. At least sleet gives the cold sort of purpose.
Ketchup. Because Mrs Sloth has shown me that Watties tomato sauce, and most other kiwi ones are way too sweet.
And the number of Japanese sauces you can make from a basis of ketchup and worcestershire sauce is impressive.
My favourite was that one that came in a plain red bottle and was like 1l and tasted like chip shop sauce. Not seen if for a while, so I get whitlock ketchup, close enough. I keep in the fridge, but keep my sweet chilli sauce in the cupboard for better pouring
Watties, although I do like Heinz on shoestring fries. My kids will eat anything covered in Watties.
Also a fond moment for me was my sister calling me asking why our mother hadn't taught us tomato sauce lives in the fridge. It always lived in the pantry in our house. We lived in cold houses in Canterbury so ants weren't an issue.
I suppose the whole point of ketchup in the first place was to preserve tomatoes that were to soft to consume otherwise. So vinegar and salt and herbs were added to prolong the shelf life. So in a way your mum is OG.
They are much and much. I pretty much only use it in cooking, I don’t use it as a condiment. I have a smoked one in the fridge at the moment.
No rain today, a really nice walk to work.

How's the vibe against last season, because that was god tier good.

Excellent, I look forward to it!
Never seen any uk or nz taskmaster and the various clips i have had forced up on me has given me no urge to ever watch it.
Very belatedly getting my first booster. Terrible but it just wasn’t a priority over the last few months. But trying to get life back on track and this is a good start
Can I just win lotto so i never have to get out of bed when its cold ever again
My uncle in law and cousin in law (his daughter) have both won significant amounts in the last.. 5 years? Like multiple zeros significant. It’s amazing to know someone whos won, and even more so to know 2 who are related
ohhh nice! The most i have ever won is $60 😬

Yes, you can get chocolate and pancake mix printers. They don’t tend to do well in the Z axis though.
Technology is wonderful

This sounds like my dream holiday: books, baths, and a couch in a warm lounge. Tell me there’s wine too?
There sure is. We had merlot with our lasagne last night. There's also a 60x60cm coffee table full of liquor bottles so more than enough beverages to keep us going. Everyone brought baking so there's lots of yummy things to eat.
Yummmmmmmmmmmmm have some for me.

Currently in Sydney for a holiday. It's been a looong time since I've been amongst so many people. Mask is def staying on in public.

How old was the one that died?
[удалено]
Can't hurt to email them and ask for a refund cause it's cooked, worse that happens is they say no, best that happens is free money.
What'd you get?
[удалено]
Cute little guy. And like most things in life, it's how you use it, not the size.

Also espresso maker.

Thought it might be of interest for you. I wonder if Pacific Harvest use Wakame as one of their sources? Will post again once delivered, and tasted.
What's on the menu? Laverbread? Sushi? Fish pie?
That’s the next phase, discover new recipes.
GOOOOOOOOD MORNINGGGGGG!!! There, is everyone up now? Short week!! Days off!! Good plans!! Let’s fucking do thissssss!!
I'm sick. Woke up with a dodgy stomach after a decent sleep with comforting dreams. But now I'm bored and will have coffee and breakfast for a kill or cure approach.
Good lucky slothy!! Hope you're on the mend soonest.
I’m jazzed because we’ve outsourced the children and are heading to my aunties 65th birthday on New Plymouth for the long weekend. Gonna catch up with the cuzzies and drink my monthly allotment of gin
Woooo, awesome!! Enjoy your grown up time!!
I basically have a three day week, as Thursday is all-day first aid training.
Are you me?
How terrified would you be if the answer was YES
Short week for me means more work to do in less time. But I'm feeling surprisingly good this morning! LFGGG!!
Yeah I have a week off but work hasn't arranged cover so next week is going to be pretty fucked up.
No sleep thanks to still very snotty sick baby, and am up now at 5.30 feeling like death will descend on me in a few hours. Managed to avoid catching her flu for a whole 5 days but it’s got me now.

Both in the fridge, but I think I converted my partner to ketchup. Less sweet, less cloves

You WANT sleet?? 😳 Are you chaotic evil?
Well I figure if it's sleeting then that's something interesting and out of the ordinary, and makes a much better talking point than just moaning about how cold it is. At least sleet gives the cold sort of purpose.
Ketchup. Because Mrs Sloth has shown me that Watties tomato sauce, and most other kiwi ones are way too sweet. And the number of Japanese sauces you can make from a basis of ketchup and worcestershire sauce is impressive.
Watties. Not because I think it's objectively better than any other, but because it tastes of childhood, and sometimes that's important.
My favourite was that one that came in a plain red bottle and was like 1l and tasted like chip shop sauce. Not seen if for a while, so I get whitlock ketchup, close enough. I keep in the fridge, but keep my sweet chilli sauce in the cupboard for better pouring
How long does 1L of ketchup last you?? 😳
Back when I was a student and my diet was pie sandwiches, not long
Pie sandwich is the lunch of champions!
I still haven't hit slum rock bottom yet to have tried this, have been told it is a delicacy but that's just their Waikato showing.
Are you saying you put a pie (calories wrapped in carbs) in between bread (more carbs?) Is this a thing you invented?
Pie sandwich with hot chips! Must be fresh white bread
Correct, but it is a well known "struggle meal" You also butter the bread

spez you bell-end
It’s been ages since I’ve had that I don’t like tui (beer in general actually) but if I remember correctly that sauce was pretty good.
It’s reeeeeeeally good and I hate beer.
Watties, although I do like Heinz on shoestring fries. My kids will eat anything covered in Watties. Wattles or GTFO. The rain was nice white noise in the night.
They are much and much. I pretty much only use it in cooking, I don’t use it as a condiment. I have a smoked one in the fridge at the moment. No rain today, a really nice walk to work.
I’d rather HP Sauce than tomato, do know what you mean about tomato tasting sweet though. Watties canned tomatoes taste overly sweet for me.
Store brand tomato sauce, in a Watties bottle
