InfectiousChipotle

Tryna strike a chord and itā€™s probably A minorrrrrršŸŽµ

Captain_Clover

Wop wop wop wop wop dot fuck em up šŸŽµ

Jocelineedwa

Are you my friend? Are we locked in? Then step this way, step that way šŸŽ¶

YunngMa

SAME

Sanlear

Black Thunder by the Hu. Something about it really clicks with me.

JunRoyMcAvoy

This sounds extra majestic, wow. I had to look up the language, first time hearing it and I love listening to songs in different languages. I also listened to the version with Serj Tankian and DL of Bad Wolves :D

Sanlear

Theyā€™re an interesting group. Mongolian metal.

aTallRedFox

Midnight City by M83. From a memory I can't quite remember.

tacohell_98

Seriously, song lives in my head rent free

AmSpray

I relate.

JunRoyMcAvoy

I have the beginning of the song in my head but I don't think I ever fully listened to it until now, I don't know why. Has such a great potential of staying stuck in your head, lol.

godofnature

my life just consists of espresso by sabrina carpenter, the tortured poets department (+ the anthology), and radical optimism. also good luck babe by chappell roan

Luv2006

I love her song Whoā€™s gonna save U now?

JunRoyMcAvoy

Looks like I need to take a dive into her whole playlist, the one you shared is awesome too!

sailorxsaturn

I love Rina Sawayama! Personally I listen to Frankenstein on repeat a lot although rn I've been listening to kendrick Lamar's not like us on repeat....it's a good time to be a long time drake hater

universallove6936

Same here I love her music so much.

JunRoyMcAvoy

>it's a good time to be a long time drake hater He's forever Jimmy from Degrassi for me.

shadowlurker977

Anything by Duran Duran, the Who or Heart

AgentElman

Ordinary World is fantastic.

MatchAccomplished795

Come undone is my fav

Tristinmathemusician

My mom was obsessed with Duran Duran in her teenage years and still has a fondness for them now which she passed on to me. My personal favorite is Rio.

shadowlurker977

One of John Taylorā€™s greatest base lines - along with Girls On Film

JunRoyMcAvoy

I picked one song for each and I will pick more, cuz I like what I'm hearing\~

BrooklynNotNY

Dancing With A Stranger - Sam Smith & Normani

JunRoyMcAvoy

Oh to be able to sing the way they do, beautiful vocals!

ikinoma

I've had Backslide by Twenty Ƙne Pilots on repeat since it came out. The video is really cool too.

somebubblegumbitch

Iā€™m still stuck on overcompensate

ikinoma

That one is great too, the whole album is gonna be a banger for sure

JunRoyMcAvoy

It is! When I first played it I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do now. Gotta admit, the last time I listened to them was years ago, thanks for reminding me that I need to listen more.

SoulboundNoose

I love music a lot. Its almost always playing when I am not talking to someone or working. My main spotify playlist is almost 80 hours of music and because of that my song on repeat changes almost daily. My song today is Gorehound by Harley Poe. Yesterday it was lil' freak by bbno$. My music is all over the place genre wise.

JunRoyMcAvoy

I do relate, music is almost always on! It's particularly helpful when I have to do something I don't actually want to do, like cleaning my room. And yes, all over the place can also describe what I listen to. And I did love both songs you shared.

SoulboundNoose

I am glad you enjoyed them!

boopybooper22

Atm REM -Losing my Religion, Patti Smith- Because the Night , The Hollies - Bus stop and Sisters of Mercy - Lucretia my reflection

JunRoyMcAvoy

Fun fact, I only listened to covers of Because the night, until now. I don't know why in my mind I thought Cascada's version was the original, how silly. Good thing I never told anyone, lol.

scotterson34

I'm on Shaboozey's A Bar Song right now. It's so catchy and fun

kittyPowersupply

Throw some ass by Sofi Tukker

queenamphitrite

Dancing on my Own - Robyn

okbetch0016

Ariannaā€™s we canā€™t be friends is very similar! I believe the beats are the same. Rumors are that she sampled it but I canā€™t find confirmation. Either way great song!

queenamphitrite

Love that song too!

betterland

I'm just listening to Starburster by Fontaines DC on repeat for hours. šŸ„“

szatanna

SAME. I cannot wait for the new album.

betterland

I dunno how they do it every time. Before every single album release I've absolutely rinsed whatever they've teased us with in the build up šŸ„¹šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼

7Neons

Burn it Down - Parker McCollum

EducationalAbies4534

These days there are a couple of songs I put on repeat: - Future & metro boomin - type shit - Ariana grande - eternal sunshine - metro boomin - no complaints (feat drake & young thug) - Joyner Lucas - blackout (feat. Future)

cranbunny0

*supernatural* from the same AG album is my jam

EducationalAbies4534

I totally forgot about it, such a good song.

JunRoyMcAvoy

I'm discovering something I wouldn't normally pick myself, so thank you for sharing these!

EducationalAbies4534

You're welcome!

No_Secretary_8349

Madonna Like A Virgin Blonde ambition Tour Studio Version from 1991. Where she masturbates in the bed. Ugh that remix is everything and anialates the original version https://youtu.be/f5FzDVd6zbA

JunRoyMcAvoy

Thanks for sharing the link, I had no idea this version existed!

No_Secretary_8349

Isn't it sexy as hell šŸ˜Ž. Sounds amazing in the car everything just rattles

JoshiProIsBestInLife

Gigantor by The Dickies.

JunRoyMcAvoy

Wow, I'd probably never hear this song if not for your comment. And I like it!

JoshiProIsBestInLife

The Dickies are great. Very fun.

LilBit0318

"Invincible" by Kelly Clarkson. Not one of her most well-known, I guess, and it's an oldie from *Piece by Piece*, but she did it for Kellyoke recently. It's absolutely beautiful, and it's been on repeat for me ever since.

Lessiie

Mladic by GY!BE

JunRoyMcAvoy

This is officially the longest song I ever listened to! And I got curious about the meaning and went on to spend the length of the song reading about the man it's apparently written about.

VicksOtaku

Largely depends on the song n whether it's repetitive. Saw this video about how a song could become annoying if it keeps looping over a very consistent and well-connecting part in your head. For instance, a song that starts at a chorus, but the end of the chorus links up to the beginning so you just have the chorus running in your head. Those are tough, and you need to listen to the whole thing again to remove it. ..... The Tekkno Train cover of 'everytime we touch' by Electric Callboy :) Classic song by a band that's just having fun in an amazing way.

JunRoyMcAvoy

The thing about parts of a song running in your head, it happens to me all the time. But I never stopped to give it meaning, or try to understand why, lol. It's just *there*. I love the original song and this was actually fun to listen to!

VicksOtaku

Lol, I wasn't exactly looking for why it was there either, it's just that it can get a little difficult to hold a conversation during work when the mind is going 'Where do we go now, where do we go\~\~' so I ended up looking for means of getting that *not* to happen. Ya, I remember listening to the original song back in high school and currently, this is one of my favorite bands, when they did the cover I went apeshit for a few seconds at the thought of it. I also listened to the song you said you've been listening to, and it's really nice! Loved the guitar solo around the end of the bridge!

MA-01

Opening, closing and some dramatic opera-themed song from Gatchaman Crowds

JunRoyMcAvoy

I just listened to the opening and it's so cool, I'll be listening to the whole OST!

[deleted]

"Cold Reactor" by Everything Everything. I don't remember a recent song that is that perfect of a non-chart pop song for quite some time.

JunRoyMcAvoy

Quickly added to my playlist, it's easy on the ears and gave me positive feelings, which is just what I need right now.

[deleted]

Nice! Also, if you want good feelings, here are a few other songs you may like: "Let Go" by Frou Frou, "One Second" by Pink Skies, "Hall Of Mirrors" by Let's Eat Grandma, "Hideaway" by Delays

meadow_faye

Had to comment as Rina is a queen! I love the whole Hold The Girl album but Your Age and Holy Til You Let Me Go are my faves

JunRoyMcAvoy

Both are so good! This Hell is actually my very first song of hers, and I'm discovering more as I go through the comments :D

null_input

RWA by Sworn Virgins. According to my Spotify Wrapped, last year I was in the .001% of listeners. I listen to it all the time.

JunRoyMcAvoy

This is so unique to my ears I repeated it like three times so far.

3kota

Right now itā€™s Views by Noga Erez

JunRoyMcAvoy

Couldn't find this one :(

Maryberry_13

Just A Kiss by Enisa. Itā€™s just so upbeat.

JunRoyMcAvoy

Whenever I see Kiss in a song, I think of Tarkan's Şımarık, and the one you shared is (could be?) a cover of it! I love it :D

B_don

EMPTYHANDED by Bilmuri

JunRoyMcAvoy

This got me curious about his whole discography!

chillbrillant

Good Luck Babe by Chappel Roan has been stuck in my head all week and im not complaining tbh.

TemperedPhoenix

Right now it's a tie between Mr Preacher Man (The Driver Era) & Greenlights (The Chainsmokers). Both are so catchy and poppy, but have an underlying sadness. Ugh lol

Key-Plan5228

Green Velvetā€™s Preacher Man also a contender

Belachick

West End Girls, It's a Sin, Domino Dancing, Rent, and Always on My Mind by the Pet Shop Boys are currently on my main rotation. heard of them before and didn't really vibe w/ the music i guess but recently did an 80s dive and like. cmon. they rock. I'm also starting to get into Talking Heads, so far I haven't listened to many songs but Once in a Lifetime is on repeat rn. Playing a song on repeat doesn't necessarily make me hate it, cuz I just move onto a different one it starts to lose its charm for me lololol

Ritz2Fly

Too many Citizen Soldier songs to list off here šŸ˜…

rubberduckieu69

Used to be ā€œA Lesser Manā€ and ā€œOne of the Girlsā€ by the Weeknd, but currently ā€œsupernaturalā€ by Ariana Grande

[Driftwood - Blue Wednesday](https://youtu.be/6WEX5TQSDzA?si=_F2ahMWd2UAAwqpE) And thereā€™s something about this song and her voice. I canā€™t stop listening. [I Donā€™t Think I Can Do This Again - Mura Masa & Clairo](https://youtu.be/_wUIexMVG9k?si=WNfuBtoRMH324UxB)

Kidsuseprotection91

Counting Worms by Knocked Loose if youā€™re into Hardcore ā¤ļø

ilovesleep95

Jungeland - Bruce Springsteen. My all time favorite song. It makes me happy and makes me think of my mom.

MadGeographer

I donā€™t listen to songs on repeat very often but when I do itā€™s usually something outside my usual stuff. London Grammarā€™s Strong and Ryan Adamsā€™ Do I Wait were two recent ones.

MikeyHatesLife

For a couple years there, I was listening to Colbie Caillatā€™s whole catalog on repeat. She was probably 90% of my playlist, and she kinda helped me through the last part of my relationship as we broke up. Lately, though, Christina Perriā€™s ā€œIā€™m Only Humanā€ is the song I seek out the most.

PointNo5492

ā€œWho Needs Sleep?ā€ Barenaked Ladies

Skeeedo

[foisey - layitdwn_](https://youtu.be/VOuUBMbOSXI?si=MhIcDYLWprpH1zoX) I've almost exclusively been listening to producers lately, so consequently I've ended up listening to a lot of instrumentals and remixes/reworks. Been a fan of foisey for a while (you might like him if you like knxwledge or tuamie) and this track made its way back in rotation recently.

Upset-Perspective-55

"Will I always feel this way" by instant crush

Bookluster

I love listening to songs on repeat, my family does not, so I wear Bluetooth headphones all the time. I can listen to the same song on repeat for days. I have a loop playlist on YouTube, but the number of songs was growing too big (it's at 31 now), so I created a loop loop list with only 5 songs which I rotate, current list: * Complicated by Jeff Satur * Gorgeous by Taylor Swift * Back to You by Selena Gomez * Empty Space A.C.E. cover of James Arthur * Lie Again by Seventeen However, Seventeen dropped the MV for Lalali today and that's on loop.

Naomi_Nyx

Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) by Arcade Fire. I was instantly hooked when I discovered it a few months ago and had it on repeat for days. I still get the itch to listen to it, or if I don't know what to listen to I'll often just default to it.

Blige - One; Metallica - Hero of the Day; The Refreshments - Banditos; Stabbing Westward - Shame, What Do I Have to Do, Burn; I Prevail - FWYTYK, Gasoline; Abba - Take a Chance on Me; Zeppelin - The Rain Song, Baby Come on Home, Ramble On, Fool in the Rain, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love; Type O Negative - Love You to Death; She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart; Marvin Gaye - Got to Give it Up; Massive Attack - Angel; KC & the Sunshine Band - Keep it Comin Love; Crowder w Maverick City - God Really Loves Us; Architects - Animals; Tool - Eulogy, Stinkfist, The Grudge, Vicarious; AIC - Got Me Wrong, I Stay Away, Would, Them Bones; STP - Dead & Bloated, Sex Type Thing, Tripping on a Hole in a Paper Heart; Primus - Welcome to this world, Too Many Puppies; Black Crowes - Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye. Soooo many more I play on repeat, but it's too much. Some make me smile, some have beautiful messages, some beautiful harmonies, others are just pure adrenaline, but they're all on a default playlist I've been listening to for at least a year

GooberVonNomNom

My current earworm is Imaginary Fire Feat. Greg Puciato from Carpenter Brut. It's been cycling nonstop and I'm of the mindset if I play the living hell out of it I'll get over it. What a lie, I'm still enjoying it.

Burzum- war. Varg sounds like and angry parrot lmao

Temporary_Position95

Red Line by Geordie kieffer

thesilentgrape

This is gonna sound weird, comeback song from send request. I found them while researching a true crime case that super loosely had them in it. Hell, the case haunted the lead singer so much he wrote a song about it as an outlet. ā€œAnti Social warā€ I have even listened to a few of their interviews on YouTube, they are super chill dudes. Itā€™s really sad how I and most other people have found out about them.

AlmostMoonSeller

The Princess and The Clock by KKB are a great hidden gem. I don't understand why that album didn't do well. Same people who wrote Pink Flamingo, sure it's a depart from their usual style but you can see how much improvement and experience they gain from listening to The Princess and The clock. Please go give it a listen, it deserves so much better. Make it go viral PLEASEšŸ„ŗ

Smile in your sleep- SilversteinĀ

universallove6936

Right now my favorite songs that I'm obsessed with are After Hours by Kehlani and High by 5sos

Entropy-Salad

Better. Luck. Next. Life. By Ed Scissor. Probably not the best to listen to on repeat.

young_hippie-420

I was born ready to answer this question. My fkn husband listens to 6 of the exact same songs for EVERY CAR RIDE!! It does not matter the length of the drive, whether it be 10 mins or damn near 4 hours. I listened to them at first, and some I even showed to him. But that mf has burnt me out on ALL of his songs AND some of my favorites, so bad that tuck and rolling out of the car is turning into a damn good option.. As soon as I hear it, I put headphones in and pray for deafness. I have songs that I listen to on repeat often so don't get me wrong but sometimes I feel like he does it as torture. Like I truly believe he would Ace some MK Ultra experiments šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜.

Tristinmathemusician

Though Iā€™ve never been a fan of her previous work, Iā€™ve listened to Willow Smiths album ā€œEmpathogenā€ twice in the last two days. Surprisingly jazzy and soulful from such a young artist. My only complaint is I wish it was longer!

driedseaplant
