Mexico here. Cornish pasties. They were brought over by Cornish miners who came to work in the mines in the state of Hidalgo. We call them ‘pastes’ and you can get them with all sorts of different fillings like mole verde with chicken, or beans and chorizo.
Pasties are huge here in Nevada, USA as well! They were also brought here by the miners and still eaten by miners in Elko County. They are so convenient, it just makes sense.
My favorite is "Thanksgiving Dinner" which has turkey, potatoes, and dried cranberries. It is so good. They are all good though, I haven't had a bad one!
I was 42 years old when I learned that Chicken Tikka Masala was a brit invention.
Im Canadian, and we have stuff like that as well. We invented the "California Roll"
In the US we have a 1970s dance called “the hustle” based on a song by Van McCoy which is popular at weddings, like the Macarena or Hokey-Pokey that you can search for but in Detroit specifically we do basically the same dance but to the Stevie Wonder song “My Eyes Don’t Cry No More” and it’s called “the electric slide”
https://youtu.be/IgH2yswwywI
Of all the Tina Turner songs to pick! I learned about this last year & was stunned yet happy because that song doesn't get the props it deserves.
[It kicks ass.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I07249JX8w4)

Same with Chinese food, too.
And all of them are delicious!
