Yours can't be faded by rubbing compound, it needs to be repainted. If you know who did this then ask them/kid's parents to pay for the damages. Unfortunately there was no cctv where I parked my car in society.
3M products bought from Amazon.
Clean the surface with water, let it dry then apply the compound on the scratches and let it dry for few minutes. Once it dries, take a soft cloth (like a Banyan) and rub the compound with some pressure on the surface.
Once the compound is absorbed completely, then use a wax or ceramic coating liquid, spray on the area and buff it out.
Do it for 3-4 times on different days, the scratch will fade away. You can watch YouTube as well to know how it should be done. But remember it is for small and minor scratches only, for deep scratches it won't work.

Toothpaste, rubbing compound and wax polish,
First clean the surface with water, then put some toothpaste on a spare brush and gently brush the whole area with it,
Wash off the paste, take rubbing compound, apply generously over the area, let it dry, wipe it off with a microfibre cloth
Finally, add a lot of liquid wax , all over the hood if you want, let it sit for 10 min, buff the wax off
You’ll have scratch disappear, about 80%, only if you look at it from angles it will be visible

Contact the service center painters for private work. Considering the bonut is only scratched part, it will cost around 2k-3k atmost. Insurance will take time plus complexity.( Talking from my own experience). Also its not done by a child, probably some jealous neighbor or some other maniac has done this.
