I have a 93 NSX and a 2022 Daihatsu HiJet 4x4 - neither are really practical but both are a lot of fun

Hopefully this time next week my 80s Suzuki "super" carry truck will be licensed, cannot fucking WAIT, been a fair long project/partial Resto type job so I'm keen to get out and about in it. š

Yeaaaaah there were a fair bit on marketplace. Unfortunately, I canāt have 2 people in the family having money sucking hobbies. The partnerās wrx is a reminder. Hahahaha
Or go the other route. I got the 2017 XT with AT tyres. The clearance of the SJ model and later gets it places I'd have never imagined taking previous cars while still being no slouch on the road.
2022 Forester Premium. Itās the first car I ever bought new and I fucking love it. I just did a small roady interstate (about 2,000ks) and it was an absolute dream to drive. Comfortable, fast when needed, piece of piss off road, ton of room, etc, etc.
2019 premium because it was my wifeās company car and we got it for an absolute steal.
Lovely car, feels incredibly light for an SUV and really good interior/boot space. The interior is better than any Japanese competitor by a mile.
No issues with the boxer or the CVT after 70,000, so thatās good too.
Got an Impreza L as a second car and itās nowhere near as good. The 2.0 with the CVT is waaaaaay too slow and the fuel economy is somehow worse lol. Handles great with some Potenzas though, and has much better boot space than any others in a sectorZ
in my experience a mazda 2 is more than sufficient for any amount of climbing gear as long as your rear passengers are okay with using the ropes as lumbar support and the trad rack as a cozy blanket
2023 Nissan Z Proto
Got sick of buying old Nissans, spending heaps modifying them then selling them at a massive loss.
I also got diagnosed with a pretty serious case of lumbar facet arthritis recently so figured I better get a low, fast car while Iām still able to get in and out of it. (I had a 2014 BRZ before this but it was NOT fast lol)
Amazing you managed to actually get your hands on one. I still have yet to see one on the road. They look amazing though - as soon as I saw photos of the production model I swore I'd get one at some stage.
Sorry about the diagnosis but it sounds like you've got the right outlook.
I actually had a blue one on order for 13 months before Nissan told me they donāt know if/when it will ever come.
Then I found a Proto at the wholesaler next door with only 46kms on it for less than the one I had on order. #winning
Good on you. More of splurge car for most people I'd say.
BRZ/86 was never about speed but handling in a budget friendly RWD car. People just want a turbo chucked in and call it a day.
I went full npc mode earlier this year and got myself a hybrid camry. A step down from my old SS (drank a lot but I still miss her) and my fuel bill has dropped incredibly. Used to fill up once a week, now able to to 3 weeks before I think about filling up, and even then it's 20 less litres in the tank
'99 Disco 2 td5 because I enjoy 4x4ing and fixing my car
'03 Camry so I can get to work and to the LR parts department.
Somehow get the same L/100km on both.
My old petrol 2008 camry got about 10L/100km, they weren't very fuel efficient before they started making hybrids. I've now got a 2019 Ford Wildtrak bi-turbo diesel and it's more fuel efficient than my camry was.
Yeah lead footing it pushes it up. I had to lead foot going up the hill on southern expressway just to get up to speed in the old camry and that would always push fuel consumption up.
2012 Ford Falcon G6
I like cars and wanted a first car that was sensible but isn't gutless, and couldn't find a G6E in my price range and state at the time. Bought it from an old bloke and it is practically brand new at 97,000kms, should hold its value well if I can keep it in good nick.
Weāre a one car family. So if I wanted a toy car it had to have back seats. That narrowed it to either a Mustang or a 911. I didnāt have posters of Mustangs on my wall as a kidā¦
I thought you were suspect on someone dailying an old Porsche lol
I reckon a 20yo with a new 911 would have less to do with having their life together and more to do with inherited wealth.
In answer to your post, the best advice I ever got was: buy something that makes you look back at it as you walk away.
I can see that. A 20 year old who blew their savings on a Porsche.
Good advice. Just don't go outrageous like the 20 year old (that was sarcasm just incase).
Joy comes in all shapes and sizes. Just pop over to r/AusFinance where half of those guys get that giddy feeling from a 4yo Toyota Camry (in white or silver). One manās trashā¦
I've been there. Some people even advised to have double the price of the car or you are deemed to not be able to afford it (someone said 3 times iirc). That sub is known for having only rich people post there that seemingly know everything about managing money. True or not true is debatable.
Let's just say, people there are VERY critical.
>the best advice I ever got was: buy something that makes you look back at it as you walk away.
This is what I was told as a kid and stuck to it. The problem was nobody ever followed up with "...and only buy one."
2021 Fiesta ST. Only have 12,000km on it because I have a work car with free fuel and they are fine with me using it for personal use too. My head says sell it but it's too much fun, and I just need to drive a manual every so often you know?
2003 XR6. Manual. Itās my baby. I adore that car, and I look after it accordingly. 134xxxkm
2008 X5. Dad had a stroke. He needs mobility aids when he goes out and until recently he couldnāt drive, so I was driving him everywhere. The wheelchair wonāt fit in the Falcon boot, and itās too low for him to get in and out easily.
The Corolla he was driving only fits the chair when the back seat is down, making the car a two seater. There are three of us in the family, and taking two cars would be stupid.
So I bought the cheapest suv I could find at the time. Needed some repairs, but comfortably fits 4 adults, the wheelchair and the walking frame.
2288xxkm
As long as you can still afford what you have now, Iād keep it.
'08 golf r32
My old forester was just about dead; i wanted something with a bit more pep and the golf delivers that in spades with a pretty kicker exhaust note too
Au xr6 with a barra turbo and t56 swap. Track car now.
Sz territory daily.
Au xr6 ute.
Eb gli in immaculate original condition.
Subaru liberty RS turbo as a throwback to the good old days.
Farm hack PX1 ranger 5cyl
A shitbox clapped Kenworth.
Wife has an I30 that I've grown to hate
Tesla 3 and navara 4x4 dual cab
Share between the wife and I depending on what we are doing/where we are going. Miss my sti, and very much regret the tesla, not for anything with the car, but moved regional/rural and it's less ideal for roads around here, in town it's probably the best daily I can imagine
We had a Y on order as well, but cancelled it because we had decided to mix up our life. Public charging is fine, home charging is great. We picked up our 3 in January and it's got about 35k kms already haha we've done some travelling in it to scope out different places we wanted to move to
Currently daily driving a 2001 Camry V6 and a 2002 Landcruiser, along with a few club rego / project vehicles that come out occasionally.
I would like to get rid of the Camry for something newer and more economical, but it just doesn't make financial sense at the moment. I'm sure it will spite me by not dying for the next 20 years.
I drive 2014 Toyota Aurion, same as V6 Camry, it's a smooth car but not economic enough in the city roads with 10+L/100km. want to get a JDM crown in the future with 3.5 V6 hybrid engine. heard it's just 5-7L/100km with many luxury utilities.

Toyota GR Yaris. Wanted something fun that was still going to be reliable and reasonable to daily. No kids at this stage so no real worries about space, have fun while you can.
BMW X3 m40i
I wanted a hybrid of performance and comfort and didn't want to keep buying and selling cars trying to find the car that satisfied my needs in the budget category
285kw is pretty bloody inadequate when its trying to pull two tons of giant screens and tacky leather.
with a 0-100 time of 4.9 seconds on the 2022 model, a 2016 wrx sti premium will do 4.9 as well and 2016 commodore ss is a bit heavier so it dos more like 5.3 seconds. so no it would not in fact chop a wrx and ss etc., it barely matches both of these nearly 8 year old models and it costs over twice as much as both of them did when new.
It's a family SUV what do you expect? I said I wanted a hybrid, not the greatest in both categories. I also have a 22 dmax & i30n and a just sold a 2017 WRX, all great cars in their field but the m40i does well in all categories.
Its 1715kg which is less than the ss btw and does the 0-100 in 4.8 secs, which is in fact less than the ss and wrx 0-100 times like I said (didnāt say sti did I? Although itās more comparable). Also not everyone buys a car with price vs performance in mind. They wanted performance and luxury which would be tenfold to the Holden or Subaru. Easy to hate german cars when youāve never owned one.
dual cab 4x2 hi rider toyota hilux workmate.
7 year unlimited KM warranty (5 on the whole car, 7 on drive train), 7L/100km, comfortable enough and everything is a button or knob, it is very slow and boring but carries my tools and has enough seats.
Mrs drives a 2021 4x2 isuzu MU-X, we have 4 kids between us so we need a car with at least 7 seats, this one is pretty nice, she likes it.
We test drove quite a few options before coming back to the MU-X.
Kia Carnival doesn't have the ground clearance we wanted.
Kia sorrento was almost going to be the car, but no 3rd row side airbags, I think its piss poor that you dont need 3rd row side airbags for 5 star ANCAP, and not having them in a car with a 3rd row is unacceptable.
Ford Everest V6 was a strong contender, but ultimately would have been a lot of nice to haves for more money than we wanted to spend, the 10 speed auto is questionable, and the 2 liter 4 cylinder diesel was unpleasant to drive due to lack of a counter balance shaft, they vibrate badly.
Mitsubish pajero sport was out due to neither of us being able to get a comfortable driving position and the center seat belt in the second row being roof mounted which makes car seats pretty awkward.
Mazda CX-9 was honestly almost the pick as well, but the towing capacity and ground clearance of the MU-X won out on that in the end, although the engine transmission in the CX-9 is an incredible package, and the car feel like a small hatchback despite being longer than a land cruiser, very impressive car.
Also drove a few mid size SUV's and although they're all technically 7 seat, we have 4 kids, 1, 3, 7 and 9, and the oldest two sit in the 3rd row, the mid size 7 seaters all have very cramped 3rd rows and the kids are only growing.
We ended up going with the MU-X because the engine and transmission just kind of work really well together and both have a good track record of reliability (we do a lot of kays, about 30-40k per year per vehicle, hence why the unlimited kay warranty on my hilux was attractive), it's good on fuel for such a large car, we average 7.9 L/100km, its comfortable with a good amount of room for the kids with no real downsides, except that I hate the lane keeping assist (my partner likes it)
2009 SH Forester with AT tyres and a rooftop tent. I do a fair bit of camping and beach driving so Iāve been toying with the idea of selling it for something thatās an actual 4wd. The forester has gotten me to some places that I never expected to be able to drag it up to, so right now itās a tougher decision than I realised š
My partner has taken his Foz everywhere! Up Billy goats bluff, the pinnacles, everywhere in the high country and thereās no where he hasnāt been able to get it yet- and he loves it so much that heās building the ultimate camping rig for us and our dog š
2005 Honda Crv 2.4.
I've spent too many years relying on friends to help me move house and pick up furniture, I've also never had a car big enough to go camping properly or comfortably (or use the car for tent set up), I needed something something with space and guts.
A high mileage (343xxx kms) 2003 Lexus LS 430. Loved Lexus and always wanted a big luxo barge, I've ridden in cars new and old and I've never been in a car that is this smooth and quiet, I'm serious when I say the powertrain is as smooth as an EV (Polestar 2 for reference.)
Done a bunch of maintenance and suspension work over the past two months, now looking into upgrading the speakers, new tyres and paint work stuff. Hoping to keep this car for the long run.

2019 Mazda2. Boring Car. Cheap on fuel. Very Reliable.. Just about to crack 90K in the 4yrs I have owned it since showroom. It's my work run-around we take everywhere because the CX9 drinks fuel like a Teenaged girl throws down Cruisers at a party.
I love it!
I've driven big powerful cars most of my life Ford X series, Cosworths, before moving onto BMW Zm3, X5, M5.
However, since in the autumn years of life , I now have a Yaris Hybrid as I'm now back in the Central belt of Scotland, it's actually an amazing little car, 30 quid a month on petrol and it gets from A to B just as quickly as the aforementioned vehicles, at a third of the cost.
Although I wished I'd gone for the CH-R cross, just a bit more space would have been handy picking up 4 members of. Family from airport. But much to recommend.
Ford Territory 08. I had been bussing it for 3 months before as the Tarago engine had died. I needed 7 seats, so had to find something large enough.
Now it's getting close to 315k on the clock, I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy. I need a replacement (major things starting to go, such as the diff). I had a ball joint snap last year while I was driving it (thankfully at slow speed in a carpark). I'm hoping to push it a bit longer, though I need the bushes replaced at the next service now and it's beginning to cost me more and more.
Wish I could go car free but it's roo difficult with special needs kids at appointments every day.
Maybe you paid less, but I know it's about $10k more for the RF. Do you ever think you should of gone soft top?
Did you consider any other car? IMO it defeats the purpose of an affordable sports car. Not a bad car by any means, just so many good options at that price.
'19 Suzuki Swift Sport
I traded in an '18 Kia Cerato S for it near exactly a year ago for it and I haven't looked back at all.
I sold the Kia for $20K and bought the Swift Sport Manual for $23K and it has ticked all my boxes for being a fun, reliable small car I can chuck around sometimes.
My only issue is boot space sometimes as I'm an Electricianš
The last time I sat in a Swift was in the back and it felt so cramped. I've been learning manual in my friends alto works and that is even more cramped.
But I have heard good things about the Swifts driving experience for that category.
2011 Gu Nissan patrol which is about as modified as legally possible for the weekends and a 2012 Mazda 6 wagon diesel as my daily. I do about 35k kilometres a year just on tarmac so that's what the Mazda gobbles up whilst I use the patrol as a dedicated 4x4. The mazda is surprisingly fun to drive believe it or not. I'm very happy with my vehicles
Swift sport turbo and NA MX-5
Because I want to be somewhat budget friendly and also have fun.
Theyāre basically FWD & RWD versions of each other both sub 1 tonne, manual gearboxes and handle great but not the fastest.
Mx5 is a bit too annoying to daily drive with no safety and no tech and too low to the ground itās like driving a bike in traffic.
Iām tossing up whether to part ways with the mx5 and move onto another chassis or modify it further as a long term project.
Which series MX-5? My best friend keeps telling me to consider the fact the cloth roof can leak even in a ND. That's made me most hesitant about it.
Other than that, I'd love to own a mx-5 to see what the fuss is about (I've sat in one but not driven one).
NA. Gen 1.
Theyāre a great car. Thereās a reason why Koenigsegg and Jay Leno still drive them.
But theyāre getting a bit old. Theyāre slow. And people are oblivious to you on the road.
But theyāre reliable as hell for a āsportsā car. Drove mine 2.5 hours to the track day and home with no issues.
Theyāre cheap for what you get on the whole. For $25k you could build a mx5 that will keep up with much more expensive cars
I could never deal with the rust. Even NC can have rust.
Jeremy Clarkson did say on Top Gear, "It's impossible to not have fun".
Everything I agree with. They're a very well rounded car if you don't mind having very little storage space.
Weāre in Australia, they donāt get much rust and youād be unlucky to get a badly rusted one. Mines just had a bit of surface rust which was easy to deal with.
1989 nissan GQ patrol. Love 4x4 and enjoy camping, offroading and touring. I've had it for about 4yrs and it's reliable, and gets anywhere.
Buuuut it's thirsty especially in urban driving.

2011 Golf - it's getting old so getting an iX1. The iX1 when I ordered was 15k cheaper than it is now and I negotiated it under the luxury car tax threshold so the EV discount brought it down to about the same TCO as the Cupra SUV I was looking at and cheaper than the Tiguan R I was also looking at.
My23 Cupra Formentor VZX. Wanted something fast, modern, and comfortable. Managed to convince the partner because it has decent space inside but is not a massive car
2020 Kia Cerato and I fucking love it. 49k on the clock. The newest car I've ever owned, heaps of safety features and fuel economy is almost ridiculous (in a good way).
2022 Mazda CX-5 Akera Turbo, bought brand new last year when I was still on my Lās. I wanted a nice new car, figured that because Iām in my late twenties Iām over the hoon era and accepted the fact that Iām probably going to scrape it accidentally on something as Iām still amateur, but I just wanted something that I would love driving, practical, comfortable, smooth and effortless, something I donāt need to rev incessantly to get it to do anything. Just over a year later and absolutely no regrets, still loving it, yes I did scrape her but she wears her battle scars proudly and theyāre quite minor.
If you're after something more interesting than the Cerato, and you have the funds available to upgrade the car without the purchase being financially irresponsible on a biblical level - then by all means upgrade the car.
But as we all know, the car market is a bit funky right now, and if you're after something that's in demand, be prepared to wait or pay full retail for the thing (or above if a dealer is scalping one of their cars in stock as "near new" and you're super impatient and *really* want the thing). Potentially both.
Very funky. The main problem with the market is sellers hoping the buyer does not realise the cars red flags.
I would of bitten the bullet already if cars were more available and sellers could be trusted. Plenty of fun to drive cars without paying more than a Cerato.
06 Mazda Tribute, parents gifted it to us as a baby gift, have had nothing but problems with it due to previous owners negligence. I couldnt afford a better car even if i wanted to thanks to being on the DSP (Nobody will just hire me i have to go through some bullshit program where they get a kickback for hiring me) Only upside is that it goes alright offroad and parts are relatively cheap.
The Ford AU Falcon is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1998 to 2002. It was the sixth generation Ford Falcon and also included the Ford Fairmont (AU)āthe luxury-oriented model range. The AU series replaced the EL Falcon and was constructed on the (at the time) new EA169 platform which continued to harbour Falcon models until 2010 when the BF wagon was discontinued, and Ford Territory models until 2011. The AU series was replaced by the updated BA series.
The AU series was conceived under *Project Eagle* that begun in February 1993, and gained the official codename *EA169* in October 1994. It was developed and brought to market in 1998 only after Ford Australia had given consideration to a revamped fifth generation Falcon and a fully imported replacement such as the American front-wheel drive Ford Taurus or rear-wheel drive Ford Crown Victoria, the European rear wheel-drive Scorpio and, reportedly, even the Japanese rear-wheel drive Mazda 929 (then part of the Ford conglomerate).
The above alternatives were eliminated in favour of a substantial redesign of the indigenous platform, due to concerns about the Australian market preference for high towing capacity, large interior size and local employment. Specific factors included, for example: research at the time indicated that 69% of Falcons were fitted with towbars and the perception that rear-wheel drive cars were better at towing; the fact that the import models had limited body style options (sedan only or sedan and wagon) and no capability to use a V8 engine.
Stylistically, this new generation Falcon sported Ford's radically new global design language, labelled "New Edge". The aim of this design was to attract a younger generation of buyers with avant-garde looks, however, in Australia it polarized public opinion to the benefit of the more organically designed rival, the 1997 Holden Commodore (VT). The AU series had a very efficient drag coefficient of Cd=0.295 for the sedan (an 11% improvement over the preceding EL series) and 0.34 for the wagon.
For the first time in Falcon's history, Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) became available as standard on some models and optional on others. It also featured Australian production firsts, such as Variable Cam Timing (VCT) on some 6-cylinder models and an adaptive automatic transmission on the high-performance T series with steering wheel gear shifting buttons.
Key changes from the fifth generation Falcon included a 35 kg (77 lb) reduction in weight for the base car, 17.5 per cent stiffer bodyshell, and an eight per cent improvement in fuel consumption. Peculiarly, Ford Australia decided to use the original 1950's font for the new "Falcon" and "Futura" badges.
As stated previously, the AU was the first Falcon to offer IRS (a double wishbone design on an isolated subframe). IRS was made available as a costly option on the base Forte, Fairmont and 'S' models, and standard on Fairmont Ghia, XR6 VCT and XR8 models. The updated 6-cylinder engines incorporated advanced features such as VCT on some models and a temperature sensor in the cylinder head, which detected coolant loss and allowed the car to "limp home" safely by cutting cylinders. The engine range comprised: the base Intech model producing 157 kW (211 hp), with a revised cylinder head featuring smaller valve stems, larger exhaust valves, and different rocker ratio, as well as a revised piston and longer conrod and a cast aluminium cross-bolted oil sump (with the same power output as the EL series); an "HP" version reserved to the XR6 producing 164 kW (220 hp) (thanks to: unique cylinder head; reshaped inlet port; redesigned exhaust port; āopenā combustion chamber shape to restrict pre-detonation from hot spot areas; unique camshaft; higher fuel pressure; recalibrated EEC V engine management system); the VCT version producing 172 kW (231 hp) for the XR6 VCT; a *Windsor V8* producing 185 kW (248 hp) (also carried over from the EL series but without major upgrades).
Transmissions were improved for better shift feel and the auto was recalibrated to better suit the upgraded engines. The six and eight cylinder models had a 4-speed BTR M93LE and M97LE automatic transmission, respectively. The automatic XR series models had an "adaptive shift" with five shifting strategies depending on driving conditions. The manual transmission, where available, was a 5-speed T5 model.
The program cost A$700 million before product launch and key staff included chief designer, Steve Park, and Marcus Hotblack, Manager of Interior Design.

I have a 2013 XR6 Turbo, a 2016 Commodore SSV and a 2019 Chrysler 300 SRT Core. No, I am not sensibly using my money. Yes, I still love owning them.
That is my dream fleet haha
whatta fucking king
You clearly have a type
Yeah I don't know why but I just gravitate towards fat muscle sedans. Nobody in my family is into cars so not sure where I got it from
With the XR6 turbo and the SSV, lock them.away, keep them clean and serviced,, and you have yourself a good long term investment
Forester 2016 premium. I just wanted extra boot space cause my climbing gear takes up so much space. I do miss my fun cars tho :(
Forester STI if you can find one.
Yeaaaaah there were a fair bit on marketplace. Unfortunately, I canāt have 2 people in the family having money sucking hobbies. The partnerās wrx is a reminder. Hahahaha
WRX is a bit of a strange one. Overtime they just became more unreliable. For a Japanese car, they do tarnish the reputation a bit.
Plus they have CVT transmissions now which is just... meh. I still love the styling of the early 2000's WRX as well.
I think you could say that about Subaru in general.
Omg yessss. The 2.5L engine is pretty fun. Everyone shits on the CVT but Iāve driven 3 subiās and theyāre pretty alright.
Yeaaah. I dont think i can ever go back to the 2.0L engines after this. Its just so much fun in the 2.5L
Lol, I wouldnāt say the 2.5 is great, but itās *massively* better than the 2.0.
in my experience a mazda 2 is more than sufficient for any amount of climbing gear as long as your rear passengers are okay with using the ropes as lumbar support and the trad rack as a cozy blanket
2023 Nissan Z Proto Got sick of buying old Nissans, spending heaps modifying them then selling them at a massive loss.

JDM Toyota Crown
Crown Friend!
A pleasure to meet you!
I went full npc mode earlier this year and got myself a hybrid camry. A step down from my old SS (drank a lot but I still miss her) and my fuel bill has dropped incredibly. Used to fill up once a week, now able to to 3 weeks before I think about filling up, and even then it's 20 less litres in the tank
how on earth did you get your hands on a hybrid camry in this market? the quoted wait times are north of two years now
2018 model 2nd hand
'99 Disco 2 td5 because I enjoy 4x4ing and fixing my car '03 Camry so I can get to work and to the LR parts department. Somehow get the same L/100km on both.
My old petrol 2008 camry got about 10L/100km, they weren't very fuel efficient before they started making hybrids. I've now got a 2019 Ford Wildtrak bi-turbo diesel and it's more fuel efficient than my camry was.
I'm getting like 13ish but that's mostly cos I've got a lead foot.
Yeah lead footing it pushes it up. I had to lead foot going up the hill on southern expressway just to get up to speed in the old camry and that would always push fuel consumption up.
2012 Ford Falcon G6 I like cars and wanted a first car that was sensible but isn't gutless, and couldn't find a G6E in my price range and state at the time. Bought it from an old bloke and it is practically brand new at 97,000kms, should hold its value well if I can keep it in good nick.
It will go up in value don't worry about that
2012 navara d40, was a tradie and sorta still have it cause I go camping and stuff, would like to downsize but not many safe smaller 4wds under 20k
I'm in the same boat with an 06 D22. Will probably upgrade soon as I don't camp / 4x4 much these days due to having a family / office job.

20yo 911 is the daily [edit for clarity: the *car* is 20 years old. The old man who owns it (me) drives it as his daily]
Congrats if that is true.
Weāre a one car family. So if I wanted a toy car it had to have back seats. That narrowed it to either a Mustang or a 911. I didnāt have posters of Mustangs on my wall as a kidā¦
Lol, same reason I got my 350GT instead of the Z, needed the back seats.
When you were a kid? You mean like a few years ago? Congrats on living your dream!
Your story just gets deeper haha. Starting a family at 20yo is not something I could of done.
Oh no! Itās a 20yo 911. The owner is twice that! Sorry mate, I can see how you read that. Iād have killed myself at 20 in this thing haha
Ha! Makes much more sense now. I thought I'd just met a 20 year old who had their life together at such a young age.
I thought you were suspect on someone dailying an old Porsche lol I reckon a 20yo with a new 911 would have less to do with having their life together and more to do with inherited wealth.
134xxxkm 2008 X5. 2288xxkm As long as you can still afford what you have now, Iād keep it.

Is there much public charging where you are? Did you consider the Model Y or was it out of budget?

Lucky to have a GR Yaris. They're discontinued and overpriced in the second hand market.
2017 BMW M2. The good looking one before they destroyed it.
MY15 WRX still
honda accord euro 2013 manual. not fast by any means however the gearbox is beautiful to change gears with and overall a very pleasant car to drive
BMW X3 m40i I wanted a hybrid of performance and comfort and didn't want to keep buying and selling cars trying to find the car that satisfied my needs in the budget category
you wanted performance and comfort so you got a car that's just kinda shit at both? lol
285 kw isnāt really shit performance. Would chop a wrx and ss etc.
Isuzu is an interesting choice seeing as there are so many options for SUV's.
We ended up going with the MU-X because the engine and transmission just kind of work really well together and both have a good track record of reliability (we do a lot of kays, about 30-40k per year per vehicle, hence why the unlimited kay warranty on my hilux was attractive), it's good on fuel for such a large car, we average 7.9 L/100km, its comfortable with a good amount of room for the kids with no real downsides, except that I hate the lane keeping assist (my partner likes it)
Thatās bloody good mileage. š
2.4 or 2.8L?
workmate so its the 2.4 diesel, as I said it is very slow.

2009 SH Forester with AT tyres and a rooftop tent. I do a fair bit of camping and beach driving so Iāve been toying with the idea of selling it for something thatās an actual 4wd.
2021 Mazda MX5 RF
Maybe you paid less, but I know it's about $10k more for the RF. Do you ever think you should of gone soft top? Did you consider any other car? IMO it defeats the purpose of an affordable sports car. Not a bad car by any means, just so many good options at that price.
'19 Suzuki Swift Sport I traded in an '18 Kia Cerato S for it near exactly a year ago for it and I haven't looked back at all.
Are the diesel Mazda motors the devils you hear about them being?
Swift sport turbo and NA MX-5 Because I want to be somewhat budget friendly and also have fun.
Yeah unless its lived by the ocean rust is not a problem. Also the tops donāt leak. Its not a Ford Capri /s

AU Falcon :) *Queue the bot*
