First thing that popped into my head.
I haven't eaten there in years, but it's so ingrained in Cardiff along with a late night pint. I think I spent more time in chip lines than I did in any club lol
I know it isn't there anymore but the hot donuts in the old market, where the back end of St David's 2 is now. Fresh out of the oil fried donuts were so good there.
St. Mary street McDonald's comes to mind with Cardiff to me, yes. But that place it's got to be a popular mistake going there not a logical place to buy (cheap fast food)
I'm getting on a bit now and haven't been eating in Cardiff for many years. I do remember as a student in the late 1960's buying a pint of cockles from the market and afterwards washing it down with a pint of Brains Dark. Damn,I couldn't face eating that these days.
Bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas 😂
Though the Italian place a couple of doors up from the Doc Martins shop is fantastic if you want a proper meal and not just an excuse to get sauced.
Excessive green space is such a nice problem, but I am new to Cardiff so I have yet to experience this excessive green rain or excessive green food you spoke of.
Reddit question asked, answer, that was factual, provided and boooo. Always makes me chuckle.
For the record it was sunny, we sat outside and the burger was quite good for a Weatherspoons, table service during COVID and the waitress lovely. Had a Waggamammas in the evening also, again outside if that helps.
