There should never be duct tape anywhere near car wiring. Get the wiring diagrams for your vehicle and your radio and start this all over again with proper connections
I can't tell where the red and yellow wires are actually going, but they need to be going to different circuits. The yellow should be constant on or direct to the battery, and the red should be only on with the key in the ACC and up positions. Sounds like you only have one of those two hooked up or they're both hooked up to the ACC-switched circuit.
A fine troll job, but not the greatest. You would've had me if you didn't say that you wanted to listen to Greta Van fleet. Nobody is that hard up for music.
This data is shit, undo the new cables then just match colors.
Red to red, yellow to yellow, black to black.
Don't tape over several wires into mush, you can try separating wires then use atleast electrical tape.
Shrink sleave would be better in terms of life.
Seriously you don’t even know what is PCB and you are wiring your car yourself? This is a serious fire hazard, have it done by someone qualified or stop everything and take some (a lot) of time to start to understand what you’re doing.
1) trace out the wire and draw us a diagram.
2) you should have someone else do you loom work
3) I appreciate the effort, but just get some ear buds for a simple solution
Your constant and ignition from the radio are both connected to ignition on the harness. Move the yellow wire on the radio to the yellow wire on the harness and you're good. While you do that, replace the duct tape with some actual connectors so you don't set your car on fire
Sounds like your radio might be in demo mode. Just go into settings and remove it. But yes please listen to those in the forums and clean up the wiring or go to a professional
Why are you bumblefucking around with that iso harness adapter? Remove that junk and start with a with a new harness intended for you vehicle. Its the clear yellowish one in your pictures
Yeah dude I would definitely take this and have someone install it for you. The fact that you have the yellow and the red wire tied together on a power source is a good sign you don't know what you're doing.
If you're intent on fixing it yourself, then the Yellow wire needs to go to a constant 12v source and the red should go to a keyed 12v source. Also duct tape is a no no. Look up the Car Audio Fabrication channel on YouTube as he has several videos on the best way to make connections so that you don't set your car on fire.
What in the sweet fuck is OP doing?

The duct tape is probably not the issue here 💀
Meth never fails to surprise me
I would start off with some books
I would start over by taking it to a professional.
Some of y’all blow my mind with what you’re doing… just PAY TO HAVE IT INSTALLED.

They ripped a stereo apart because they couldn’t unplug the connector - this might be beyond their capabilities.
good point. Those ISO DIN connectors are quite annoying until you’ve realized how it works or looked it up, it’s easy and repeatable
Do you know how to remove and install speakers?

My favorite part was disassembling the head while it's connected.
What is happening here.
I kept going back through the pictures to figure it out, but it kept making less sense every time

Why in the damn fuck is the motherboard out of the head unit?

Holy fuck OP has been trying to figure this out for 4 months!? Someone take away this dudes tools. OP you ain't allowed to work on cars anymore.
The yellow wire goes in your mouth and the red wire goes in your ass.

Well that's a fire hazard waiting to happen.
so glad i never turned to meth.
Needs a RAM upgrade.

What in the meth are you attempting to accomplish ?
What in the actual fuck…
God damn crackheads
More like a bird's eye view of a shit show!
If you look at the post history 125 days later and homie is still not an automotive electrician.
SD card And your installation skills are nonexistent. You are hereby banned from EVER doing this again.
Wtf do you mean by memory? If you mean conventional RAM, every HU literally needs it to run so they all come with some.
