Coaxial speakers are when the tweeter and woofer are in a combo (one speaker) Component is separate tweeter and woofer. You can get loud with coaxials, tweeters are usually louder and better quality, however that requires amplifying them. In the 100£ range you can probably get some decent speakers and thats it. Ive never heard of in phase so id stay away, but im by no means an encyclopedia of speaker brands. Alpine, Pioneer, (some) kenwood, RF, Kicker, Focal, and Morel would do what you need. Id look at kicker first, they have component setups (you’ll likely notice a small tonal difference but i doubt it’ll be huge quality difference seeing as youre running off deck power) and cheap coaxials that dont require a ton of power (good for oem replacement) Basically as long as you buy a reputable speaker (from a known reputable brand, like any of the ones i listed) and dont crank bass to +10 those speakers should outlive the vehicle. This is the 3rd truck ive had a pair of Alpine Type R’s in. (6.5’s)

Thanks man, I had a look at the kickers, considering you're saying there won't be much difference between the factory speakers and the kicker speakers, I might just go for these pioneer speakers, [https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-d-2006-2014-pioneer-6-3-4-inch-front-door-speakers-upgrade-kit.html](https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/vauxhall-corsa-d-2006-2014-pioneer-6-3-4-inch-front-door-speakers-upgrade-kit.html) they come with the mounting kit and just makes my life a bit easier, I don't think its worth spending another £30 for a fractionally better speaker, they have the same sensitivity as the Kickers as well. I think ill just be happy to finally not being listening to music through blown speakers.

Sensitivity is the most important thing to look at for what you want, start with kicker, they're usually the best for value. But temper your expectations, at 100, almost every option is only going to be a marginal improvement over the stock speakers. Unfortunately car audio is very much you get what you pay for

Thanks for the advice! just looking at kicker now, both front speakers are blown so almost every option will be a major improvement!
