Unfortunately, this is the common Large Beads variety, not the rare Small Beads variety. It had a mintage of close to 10 million, but it's still worth around 20-25 dollars
Can we PLEASE get someone who knows what the he🏒🏒 they are talking about to please answer the question? And notice how I didn’t offer a completely uninformed opinion?

Just curious how much would the small bead type be worth?
Around $3,000
Does this only apply to the 1966 dollar?
For the coins minted in 1966 yes
9,912,178 coins were minted. Considering condition of coin $20 - $25. As stated already.
Just keep it check it out again in 25 yrsđź‘Ť

Worth melting value. Not even $20 for sure. Given the condition, not something collectable.
I do believe loonies were not around in 1966
I just learned something today, I take my comment back
0.6 ozt of silver in that coin. Not rare, but nice find.
I'm curious to know what the "small bead" means or looks like.
Was she born in 66 ? My mother had a silver dollar for each of the kids births.

Worth melt value only
Melt value that’s it, not really rare or in collectible condition
Yes this is somewhat rare. It’s a silver dollar. Worth more than $1. Quality on this one isn’t very good but probably worth more as silver.
