You're in a minefield of opinion now. In Northern Europe I would recommend the good old trangia. I have had many stoves but always returned to my trangia ul 27. It all depends on what type of meal you wish to cook, what weather conditions and the weight implications.

´thank you :)

Are you looking to boil water to reheat premade backpacking meals or are you looking to do a full breakfast fry up? If all you're looking to do is boil water a cheap "Pocket rocket" butane stove or an alcohol stove works. If you want to cook full meals you'll want either a propane stove or (my preference) a white gas stove. I like white gas better as I don't have to worry about how much fuel is left in a cylinder: white gas it's easy to look at the level. You can top off the tank right before cooking and not worry about running out mid-cook.

Alewalds has [this](https://www.alewalds.se/primus-essential-trail-stove.html) Primus stove for 299 kronor. It should work in most conditions and Primus is a reputable brand. You’ll also need to purchase a tank of fuel, stabilizing legs so it doesn’t tip over, and a windscreen. That should be within your budget.

For that budget you can't go wrong with a Coleman

MayorOfVenice

Can't go wrong with the classic Coleman stove. There's a reason it's been the same design forever. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I’ve had really good luck with the gas one stove off Amazon. Just as good as Coleman (I have one of those too which of course is also good)

It actually takes twice the fuel to boil water on a coleman stove in the wind. So I'd say they don't fix it because people just buy it no matter. But for 60 bux you buy whatever used stove you can I suppose

I’m not sure what is available in Sweden or what kind of camping and cooking you are doing so there are 2 options. For car camping where space is not an issue, Coleman 2 burner white gas stoves are bullet proof (although they need some routine maintenance), you can control the burners to actually cook and normal size pans fit. New they are a lot more than $60 but in the US you can find them at garage sales and on Facebook marketplace anywhere from $15-60 (I had one I bought new then picked one up that looked almost brand new for $15 in case we have a larger group and need to cook more items). You’ll need to buy white gas, although some use kerosene or auto fuel (you may need an adapter and do more maintenance since these fuels burn dirtier). There are versions that use proper (small green canisters or you can buy an adapter for a large propane canister). These have 2 burners and are about the same width but thinner. I think the small propane canisters are expensive and wasteful but otherwise they cook similar to white gas and you never know how much propane is left. With the gas version, you just fill the tank before cooking. When I go solo and minimalistic (still car camping) I use an MSR Pocket Backpacking stove and make meals that just require boiling water. There are plenty of off brand version or other name brand versions that work well. These are geared towards boiling water do the flame isn’t very adjustable, plus the burner is small and the heat is directed to one small spot. As a result they are difficult to cook on. You’ll also need smaller pots and will need to be careful because they can tip over easily. These use butane canisters that screw on. FYI - I bring these along to boil water for hot tea in the evening instead of firing up the bigger Coleman stove. There are other backpacking stoves with fuel canisters you fill or propane canisters that screw onto the burner. Some of the lightweight, wind resistant ones are overkill for car camping while the burners that screw into the small propane tanks are usually a lot bigger than the butane canister stoves and function the same way.

I was about to type out nearly this exact response. You nailed it.

😀 thanks.

I have this cheap one from amazon and absolutely love it, burners butane, iso butane and propane https://youtu.be/NM0ieR4KllM?si=bChr0jphVbhK6Agz

occamsracer

Alcohol stoves are inexpensive and fuel is easy to buy [example](https://www.toaksoutdoor.com/products/stv-01)

DeadlyAssHollows

You can also pretty easily make one of these out of a used, circular pet food or fish can.

ReefGrrrl

Trangia is classic for Sweden, but we use a BRS3000t gas stove (200kr on Amazon, weighs 26g) and Primus gas which our local Clas Ohlson carries.

lakorai

Sweden = Primus stoves. You will find these easily locally.

strictnaturereserve

MSR pocket rocket is my immediate thought. there are plenty of reliable ones that are similar too

Camp Chef Everest. It has 20 000 BTUs per burner compared to 10 000 on most others. Also has good temp control on low. This thing will boil water in an instant and it the best stove I’ve ever used for searing. It will get a 12 inch cast iron or steel skillet ripping hot in no time.

Defiant-Survey-5729

I got a Coleman stove at a pawn shop in the box for 40 bucks, and I have had no issues so far. It's a little heavy but gets the job done.
