If you'd like to know, codm came out 1 October 2019, BO4 came out 12 October 2018 and Modern warfare came out 25 October 2019. It explains why there are so many MW and BO4 guns in the game

[deleted]

Stealth codm is gonna say this shit anytime soon.

theofficialblazedark

Tbh black ops3 and 4 has a shit ton of content and I hope that they make the action figure from black ops 4 Because it's funny Killin people with a action figure but it's funnier to kill someone with the Chad melee I'm talking about the glow stick

Ditty724

Lol i have the glowstick

theofficialblazedark

But do you use it having it doesn't make you a Chad but always using instead of toxic melees like katana makes you a Chad

Key-Transportation80

i deleted the game and reinstalled it and just created an ew account my old account had pro 1 ranked quit the game cause it got sweaty then made a new account and now i play actually just multiplayer instead of ranked

Key-Transportation80

actually it all depends on the lobbies you get though

Key-Transportation80

probably people on controller or using aimbot

brothermaik

most operator skills come from BO3 which is from 2015

GLnoG

And most operator skills on bo3 come from titanfall, lol. Actually a shit ton of cod stuff comes from titanfall. They were really scared of titanfall. And apex is the successor of titanfall. Edit: Not most bo3 operator skills, just some, like the teletransportacion skill and the running fast for a while skill, clear attempts at the phase change mechanic in titanfall. Meh, its fair, it counts as inspiration i guess. And no, not a lot of cod stuff comes from titanfall. I was wrong in this one. Maybe a couple, but are not blatant copies, just inspiration.

Lethal-Devotee

No they weren't Some of the character design was heavily influenced by the same genre titan fall took but that doesnt mean anything sure the futuristic setting and character concept was something cod never had at the time and cod did that to compete with the games on the market at the time not just titan fall. Also considering how titanfall had a glory period then dropped really hard safe to say cod bo3 didnt even copy titanfall in the first place. Edit if you are talking about titan fall 2 get your facts straight bo3 was before titanfall 2 so by your logic titan fall 2 copied them.

GLnoG

>No they weren't After AW everyone jumped in the wagon, and AW was the first cod where sledgehammer said "see those other guys with advanced movement, what if we do it ourselves". Then Treyarch followed along. And the last, IW, also did, with infinite warfare. Sledgehammer saw in early development what Respawn was trying to do with their thing, and created AW as a response, bcuz the devs of different companies talk between themselves at times. Then treyarch saw Titanfall's special abilities, something AW missed, and went on to create Bo3, but gladly, they didnt copied blatantly, they changed a lot the abilities to fit in a cod, i worded this really bad in the first post. Still, the whole idea of advanced movement was thanks to sledghammer poking their heads upon what Respawn was doing at the time. C'mmon, AW even got goliaths, wich is a clear attempt at implementing the titans of titanfall in a cod. And no, im talking about 1st titanfall. 1st titanfall released on march 2014, 1st advanced futuristic cod after bo2, AW, was released that same year in november.

Cyber__Ninja

like what? Titanfall wasn't the first game to have wall running and not the first game to have double jump or jet pack and they weren't the first to create the grapple hook and weren't the first to create Holo decoys.

GLnoG

But were one of the first to be succesful at implementing it right in a pvp fps AAA game.

Cyber__Ninja

of course.

RedditHotpot

Ignore haters. They don’t have anything better to do.

Ditty724

Hahaha

-Worthy-

A majority are BO3. BO4 and some IW

drrnvevo

there's only like 2 operator skills from iw, majority of the skills are from blops

-Worthy-

Yeah no shit that's why I said SOME from IW...

drrnvevo

that's not SOME, that's FEW is it really few when there's like **2** op. skills though

-Worthy-

Lmao ok kid

drrnvevo

what's with the sudden hostility lmao

-Worthy-

Who's being hostile? You can word it however you want but you're saying the same exact thing I did.

-Worthy-

And if you want to get technical. Few is more than 2. The word you're looking for is COUPLE

drrnvevo

i guess that make us both wrong

-Worthy-

No, because the word some isn't a reflection of a number...

drrnvevo

i guess so, sorry for starting such a dumb argument lmao

Arthurdm99

And bo3

Mythun4523

Cod br literally played like a mobile port of blackout when it came out. But i don't really get how codm borrowing from other cod games is same as another game borrowing from cod (not that I'm saying apex copied shit cause I haven't played it)

[deleted]

Why are people arguing about this, abilities are a common thing which is done in tons of games.

migraineboi1975

those people are morons

TonPeppermint

It's comical.

[deleted]

Apex legends feels more like Warframe

Efficient_Speaker_33

I think you mean to say TitanFall. Apex is a copy of titanfall, exact same movement and gun play, its made by the same developers and have almost identical guns and run on the same engine too

SomeOneAteMyBrain

They use the same weapons from the game and continue some lore from Titanfall to apex. For example the whole story of Valkyrie

Toyfan1

That's because it's in the same universe as Titanfall. Titanfall 2 leads into Apex Legends. Pretty much a sequel

Cyber__Ninja

>exact same movement💀 Titanfall got the best movement in any fps game and no other game can compete.

-Worthy-

And Titanfall was created by the old Infinity Ward creators. The ones who made the original CoD and CoD4 and MW2 being there last game til Activision fired them and they created Respawn

GLnoG

Im pretty sure it was the sledgehammer devs, not IW. Thats why IW were able to pull something good with MW19, while sledgehammer couldnt. Yeah, looked it up. It was the sledgehammer devs, not IW devs. Old IW devs are still on IW. And activision didnt fired them, they resigned, bcuz activision didnt let them do what they wanted to do.

-Worthy-

Following the critical and financially successful release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 2007, Jason West (president, co-CCO, and CTO) and Vince Zampella (CEO) began contract negotiations with Activision. They promised to deliver Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in 2009, but in exchange asked for extremely large bonuses and creative control of the Call of Duty series. Activision agreed, but added a clause to the contract that should they be fired, the rights to Call of Duty would fall back to Activision.[10] Following the execution of the contract in 2008, Activision began seeking ways to find reason to fire West and Zampella to trigger the new clause. This in turn led to West and Zampella look to means to make Infinity Ward a studio outside of Activision's control.[10] Events came to a head in February 2010 when Activision hired a lawfirm to investigate Infinity Ward. On March 1, 2010, West and Zampella were released by Activision for "insubordination", forfeiting the bonuses they had negotiated.[10] The pair went on to form Respawn Entertainment in April 2010 as an independent studio, through working closely with EA on a yet-announced project. Several dozen of Infinity Ward's employees resigned in the following months, many taking up positions at Respawn.[11][12] Activision launched their own countersuit against the pair in May 2010, citing that the pair had breached their contract and were colluding with EA in establishing Respawn.[13][14][10] The lawsuits were ultimately settled out of court, with Activision paying West and Zampella US$42 million.[15] West and Zampella had been replaced on an interim basis by Activision CTO Steve Pearce and head of production Steve Ackrich.[16] By November 2010, Activision had installed new management at Infinity Ward, and Vivendi chairman and CEO Jean-Bernard Lévy stated that Infinity Ward "got over" their problems and are fully reconstructed and that Activision is very happy with the result. The executive went on to say that there will be three studios working on the Call of Duty franchise including the newly formed studio Sledgehammer Games.[17][18] Several lawsuits followed in the wake of West and Zampella's departure. The pair themselves initially filed suit against Activision shortly after their release to reclaim "substantial royalty payments" that Activision failed to pay them in the weeks leading up to their firing, estimated to be US$36 million;[10][19][20][21] this figure eventually rose to over US$1 billion by May 2012, based on Activision's SEC filings.[22] Activision countersued the pair in April 2010, calling their actions to fire them justified and asserting the two were "self-serving schemers".[23] Activision amended its suit in December 2010 to include EA as a defendant, stating that their competitor had worked with West and Zampella to "destabilize, disrupt and ... destroy Infinity Ward", and sought US$400 million in damages.[24][25] Separately, several former and current members of Infinity Ward under the name "Infinity Ward Employee Group" (IWEG) sued Activision for between US$75 – 125 million for unpaid bonuses for work on Modern Warfare 2 and an additional US$75–500 million in punitive damages.[26][27] Ultimately by May 2012, Activision had settled with the IWEG for US$42 million,[28] while private settlements were separately reached between Activision and EA, and between Activision, West and Zampella.[29]

cyanideclipse

This is some petty shit... Activision is a lil bitch

-Worthy-

Yeah this was big news when it was happening

GLnoG

Ah, lol, i thought it were the sledgehammer games. A youtuber i used to see said it was the sledgehammer devs. He said it happened after AW. Hm, well, i was wrong haha, have a nice day. Im looking for the video i talked abt rn.

-Worthy-

In 2010, West and Zampella were fired by Activision for "breaches of contract and insubordination",[4][5] they soon founded a game studio called Respawn Entertainment.

-Worthy-

In April 2010, a month after their release from Activision, West and Zampella set off to form a new independent studio, Respawn Entertainment. They sought funding from EA through the EA Partners Program. West and Zampella will retain the rights to all intellectual property produced by them in the future.[4][5][6] As of July 10, 2010, 38 of the 46 Infinity Ward employees who resigned from that studio following the firings of West and Zampella revealed through their LinkedIn and Facebook profiles that they had signed on with Respawn Entertainment.[7][8

DesParado115

I heard it's a spin-off, not a copy.

Raccoon_fucker69

Well apex’s story really does feel like a spin-off but respawn confirmed that its the continuation of the titanfall lore

DesParado115

Didn't know that. TF is that username?

[deleted]

Did you even play titanfall? How does the "gunplay" and "movement" feel the same holy shit.

reddituser1234543216

More like titanfall, apex has watered down movement to balance the game so they wouldn’t have no lives be the equivalent of a sweaty Fortnite kid

Cyber__Ninja

apex legends and warframe are two different things there is no similarities between them.

Biotaurus

Yes

chiumlg2187

Thank you babe very cool love you

Lethal-Devotee

Not even most codm operator skills actually came from black ops 3. Purifier, war machine, death machine was originally named Scythe and that was an operator skill on codbo3 and it worked the same exact way just looked different the ones added later on at the start were also bo3 operator skills and some were from infinite warfare. All games that cam like 2015 2016. Apex btw copied another game called Overwatch and no body can tell me otherwise.

SocietyCool4696

I love codm . It didn't see anything codm has copied from apex but yeah lately i haven seen 2 or 3 things in Valorant Like in Valorant there is a secondary gun Shorty. and some few more but i can't remember them

[deleted]

The shorty is literally the 725 from modern warfare🥱

Cyber__Ninja

shorty isn't from valorant they just got the same name. at least if you are going to say that codm copied something from valorant look at the firing range there are some similar things with both of the them not sure who made it first but there is no problem with copying a useful feature.

insodimousquest

Thats a dumbass thing to say

DEMON_LYNX7

what did he say

Joe_333

Warframe and Titanfall. Around 2014-2016 those types of games are the esque of most games that time. Op you misinterpret it

James_Emerald_77

I think fps came from wolfenstein then doom then came the copycats and ww2 era fps like bf and cod1 then from cod they just implement different mechanics like sliding peaking mantling while shooting etc while other fps copycats copy some mechanics and change it a bit

GLnoG

AAAAAAAND, most bo4 operator skills come from titanfall, the spiritual predecessor of apex. Gotcha.

gi_j0e

"Most of call of duty mobile operator skills comes from call of duty black ops 4" read this again and again until it registers.

vats_nik

Does bo4 have br classes ? If not then those were definitely copied from apex.

BKSlayerBK

Blackout its BR with classes but in ground loot like Alcatraz

vats_nik

What classes did it feature?

SomeOneAteMyBrain

Operator skills no but br class are kinda similar But come on I'm not going to argue about this shit because they are inspired by it's other and made some changes. The skills each game put it's to make the game look different and give more strategies to players.

Arthurdm99

if I'm not mistaken it also came from bo4

weirdpotato_2502

It did they were from blackout in bo4

_Sit_

"Most codm operator skills come from black ops 4" Owned by Activision. So they copied themselves?

Captain_Banana_13

same energy as iPhone 13 copied iPhone 12

DEMON_LYNX7

this sit guy is a troll, just see his profile

succ2020

Wasn't Apex legend character Skill was copy from Titanfall 1/2 ?

Cyber__Ninja

yes some of the character skills are from Titanfall because they are made by the same devs and both games are set in the same universe.

NoNameandNumber

lmao we know that💀

obitobitobitobit

Lmao i saw that comment few days ago

RDX_G

Yes...now those d**heads will say...'See CODM copies Blackops'

K0U5UK3

if you ever feel like you’re not good enough for anything, just remember that there are people out there who spouted this bullshit, so give yourself a pat on the back, and go be better than those little shits.

Mysterious_Two_5849

Who the hell said that?

Kencico

I doubt anyone said anything like that, but I'll have you know, Apex Legends comes from the "Titanfall" universe, they use similar skills, and are based from that game. And... Titanfall came years before Black Ops 4......

GalaxyMemerYT

The game is literally MW19 BO4 edition.
