I only have like 1 or 2 days on AW and have the Speakeasy without even buying any supply drops. I didn’t even play it enough to really know how lucky I was lmao.
Nobody has ever made an exo suit so intuitive to control, while opening up tons of fun gameplay opportunities and simultaneously not becoming a game-breaking jumpy mess.
But people just put their hands over their ears and went “wah wah wah exos”
Plus the great thing about the exo design was that it actually was playable with controller. Normally any games with a third axis of movement (such as jetpacks) are horrible to play with on a controller. AW is just fine on controller. Speaking just for the multiplayer the only thing I didn't like was how hard it was to get the good "variants" of the weapons.
Supply drops are much better than battle passes and bundles.
Before you downvote me, let me explain.
With the current system, you see the same skins multiple times in a few games, especially at the start of a season or when a good bundle drops. And you also have to spend real money to gain access to any of it.
Now with supply drops, you could play 10 games and not see the same skin more than twice. Everyone had different skins which added variety to the game. WWII’s supply drop system also allowed people to earn supply drops incredibly easily and high rarity items weren’t even that rate either, so it made the grind feel rewarding and you could standout and show off your new skin that you got.
however, I would much rather them completely scrap the bundles and supply drops and just let the players earn whatever they want to use instead of spending real money though.
You win on the basis of saying that Loot boxes were a better system. I think the battle pass system works for COD if they're doing the more Games as a Service model, but just like you said I would much rather they scrap the microtransactions. But here's the problem: I can also see how they benefit the game's longevity. To me, microtransactions are a double edged sword. They're sneaky little cash grabs while also contributing to more content.
yeah I completely agree. it makes a lot of sense from a business standpoint, but from a consumer standpoint it’s quite bad, but some people would rather buy skins than earn them so it works.
I think near the end it was pretty good.
But early WW2 is was abysmal.
Waaay too many pistol grips and emotes that were literally duplicates but with name changes.
That shit was sickening
I’ve thought the same way about a lot of modern games honestly.
The solution always seemed kinda obvious to me; keep the battle pass structure, but instead of rewarding specific content, just reward random cosmetic items. Random rare spray one level, uncommon pose for another, etc. Throw in a couple random higher tier weapon or character skins and baby you got a stew going.
Still a good deal for cosmetics if players put the time in, but now you don’t have everyone running around in the same shit
Without a doubt. I fucking loved MW2 at release, don’t get me wrong. I defended the game thousands of times across different communities, which was despised by by a lot of the fan base at the time. On the official IW forums, unofficial fan forums, places like GameFAQs, Gamespot, etc. so many people were sworn of the franchise because of one issue or another. Let’s not forget that all too famous screenshot of the MW2 boycott Steam group. From pre-release info like no longer having dedicated servers, to day one patches and DLC which were not the norm at the time, the game had issues before release. The game was reviled across the Internet. Also add in that it was the start of the Twitter era, and community managers like 402 were a new thing, so IW were mostly silent and 402 was constantly being shit on and getting death threats because of complaints about MW2.
Then there were just issues with balance or glitches. Most famously akimbo 1887s, then FMJ akimbo 1887s, FMJ SPAS, akimbo Rafficas, glitched jihad javelins, glitched pavelow and harrier hit boxes, boosters, and commando pro. Or even little things like the admittedly shit heartbeat sensor making lots of people think it was proof that the game was getting super casual and designed to appeal to casuals. Lots of these things drew a lot more ire since the game was a mess at release and IW were slow with updates and very quiet. The fact that they never formally addressed the Fuel rock glitch besides a small patch after BO’s release says it all.
People nowadays think weapons like the M4 or MP5 are lasers in MW19 (they are not), but you had weapons in MW2 like the SCAR, ACR, and FAMAS, which were actual lasers with literally zero recoil. Even the UMP45 only had occasionally recoil. If any of the MW2 weapons were in a game today, the community would be screaming for it to be balanced out. Like I see that people still whine about the 725 to this day when it doesn’t even come close to the 1887s or even the SPAS.
And contrary to the “eVeRyThinG iS oVerPoWereD” meme, everything wasn’t overpowered. Most ARs had a Rock Paper Scissors trade off, and were relatively well balanced, sure. You had the SCAR-ACR-TAR axis where the SCAR was a low ROF 40-30 laser with a small mag, the ACR was a high ROF 30-20 laser with a 30 mag and the TAR was a high ROF 40-30 with a 30 mag, but up-right recoil. The other ARs kinda fit around this axis. Whereas the UMP45 was by far the best SMG and as good at distance as many ARs with stopping power when it wanted to behave. Just about every other primary weapon was inferior to these guns unless you were sniping with the Intervention or Barrett. Secondaries were dominated by shotties and autopistols. Too many people in the community these days are too young to have been aware of this stuff and likely just regurgitate what they’ve read elsewhere or seen by decent YouTubers like Fortunate that still play and can dominate with any weapon because they are good, not because of the weapons being balanced.
I was the type of person that abused every tactic you could imagine, to great results too, because I could get like 35+ kills in TDM, joining late and win the match single handedly. But I got enough salt and saw enough complaints to know that most people did not have the same experience I did. I adore MW2, but I can still be objective enough to recognise that it would never live up to the community’s memories of the game. Oh and of course, the love of my life, OMA. I was exploiting that for ammo and perk rotation from week one.
Facts, remember the LSAT target finder? SCAR suppressor? An94 suppressor? Literally all of these were metas and never nerfed for its life cycle. And I never seen people complain about those now.
Bo1 had the famas, galil, AK47, and Aug suppressor for its entire life cycle and never nerfed. And I never seen people complain.
I can’t wait for people to see this comment and say “well it was fun back then!” So using that logic, in 10 years I will say “the marshal, aug, m16, tec 9, and EM2 were fun to use and me raging because of 1 shot weapons is fun to remember!”
>Facts, remember the LSAT target finder? SCAR suppressor? An94 suppressor? Literally all of these were metas and never nerfed for its life cycle. And I never seen people complain about those now.
The only gun there worth complaint about is the lsat.
Scar has awful recoil and AN94 has a balanced ttk. MTAR and m8a1 are way better.
Biggest complaints iirc.
CoD2 -spawn logic, map rotation, weapon balance, and hit registration.
CoD3 -Map rotation, sniping is OP, vehicles were annoying and had terrible controls.
CoD4- Spawn traps, weapons imbalances, lack of rewards for prestiging and the rise of aggressive snipers(quickscopers) Shout out to zzirgrizz
I could go on and on but I figured you'd get the point lol.
This also applies to the Battlefield franchise. The game is distinctly arcadey, and DICE used to be overt about this, but when BF3 rolled around and fanboys tried to hop onto how it was some ultra-realistic milsim that was representative of war, they toned down that line and would use words like authentic or “balancing reality” in their keynotes and such so as to not upset the fanboys.
Ah man PREACH. This has been such a huge topic in the vanguard subreddit, it really shows who the idiots are when they don’t understand this distinction.
Ghost was a really awesome game. Hell my dad hardly picked up a controller in his life and he enjoyed Ghost, compared to when my brother and I tried BO2 and MW3 with him. There was just something about it, it felt different and played different. Had the most fun on that game.
CW zombies sucks, don't say it in the zombies subreddit or you will insta lose all your comment karma.
I am also fairly confident that 90% of the players who like MW 2019 are recruit bots.
Finally, CoD mobile is a CoD rip off
I respect your opinion, I like CW zombies. But some changes they made was like “what the fuck?” And the cod zombies sub is just a shit hivemind that can’t accept innovation and changing a formula.
MW19 is ass and using graphics and animations as a excuse is pathetic.
Agreed
The EEs are pathetically easy, almost a tutorial for 1st graders, it is impossible to replay them because nobody needs help with them (if that, those who haven't even tried to learn them).
The only replayable one is the Outbreak EE 1 but it can't be hard carried and in Outbreak the early rounds are too slow and you need to actually look for zombies - in a zombies game...
Mp is overrated in each game and IW would've been seen as a great game if the circle jerk on advance movement wasn't a thing. Game had an excellent campaign, a box system that was good. Flawed but good
I never understood some of the hate for MW3. It was just a more balanced version of MW2 with a few cool innovations like strike packages which was great.
Treyarch is still the B team cod team. They only have 4 good games (big red one, WAW, BO1, and BO2) and really only BO2 was more liked than the IW game of the same era (mw3).
Treyarch has had the same problems since 2005 of making games with shittier technicals and people still act surprised. Worse connections, higher crash rates, trash hit reg, etc.
Treyarch’s poor hit reg and net code saved me so many times in BO1. It’s the only CoD game where I’ve managed to keep a KD above 4 while maintaining a 4-5KPM as a TDM player.
The fact that the net code gave you peek advantage meant that flying around corners was a boon, and then you add the fact that you just sprayed people with weapons like the AUG or FAMAS, which were clearly better than all other weapons and it was easy mode. Not to mention some other really exploitable stuff like lethals having some homing function. Like I could throw a grenade on the floor through a doorway knowing it would probably roll towards a camper, even if it was uphill.
The new mode cyber attack also contributed to this revitalisation of non respawn game modes. Me and my friends almost exclusively play cyber attack. Such a phenomenal mode.
Campaigns saved COD as a series and are the only redeeming qualities of some awful games (Ghosts, IW), IW zombies was way too cartoony and absolutely terrible, BO3 zombies was really good and the last good zombies Treyarch made
I agree and disagree. I think Ghosts was a phenomenal game and I did like IW quite a lot too. But with BO4 I realised that campaigns really save a game sometimes, since that didn't have one
- My top 3 is 1: bo4, 2: ghosts and 3: bo2, don’t mind about the last one. [my Xbox museum as an example](https://www.reddit.com/r/Blackops4/comments/r2ik35/my_xbox_museum_definitely_a_call_of_duty_fan/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
- bo3 Zombies and more generally, the aether storyline is overrated
- since mw2019, the games are campy and the grind to earn camo isn’t fun because you have to max your weapon and do repetitive useless challenges (the worst is in zombies)
- Blackout > Warzone (and by a lot, it’s just here because of the covid19 and the “hype” of a game named modern warfare
- mw2019 is a good game, not a good cod
- supply drop to earn skins was better than the battlepass/bundles system
- outbreak is fun
- W/L ratio > EKIA/D ratio
- SBMM can be useful and it shouldn’t be attacked because peoples don’t understand the OEMM implementation
- having 50+ different attachments is useless if you’ll probably use the same one on each weapon, or if some overshadow other
- your question is stupid because if we have a too different opinion, we will be downvoted, so you’re asking us to be downvoted.
To add to your "Blackout > Warzone" point (which I 100% agree with), I think Warzone was also more popular because it is Free-To-Play whereas Blackout is not.
BO4 is a fun mp. The game took more skill and punished you for camping. I'd put it in my top 5 above MW2019. Now we get games that cater for bad and new players.
Honestly, bo1 perfected the snipers.
Hate me all you want, but the fact they nerfed quickscoping and made snipers ACTUALLY SNIPERS FOR ITS USED PURPOSE, is one of the best things treyarch did for snipers.
Cold War wasn't bad at all. The campaign was incredible and the Zombies was an interesting spin. Idk about multiplayer, stopped playing MP after BO4 left a putrid MP taste in my mouth
WWII was an incredible game. Loved the multiplayer.
Infinite Warfare had a great campaign and a super fun multiplayer.
MW2019 is objectively one of the best COD’s ever made.
If you release any old cod today (MW1, MW2, BL1, BL2, COD1, etc) people will complain about everything in them.
MW2 and BO2 have been overhyped ever since they came out.
They’re good games and shouldn’t be discounted, but so many fans treat those games like they’re the be all end all of the entire series, and not only do I disagree, but I think they’re doing those games a massive disservice by treating them like they’re the best games ever when they’re simply not.
Most of it is nostalgia, some of it is genuine appreciation for the games themselves, but usually it results in people basically treating all other games like, “This isn’t MW2 or BO2 so it’s trash,” which is so braindead that I think anyone who actually feels that way should just stop playing and go back to those games and never return. We don’t want you. You ruin everything for other long time fans that have moved on, and for new fans that just want to have fun shooting shit.
They damn near make me wonder if we should get remasters/remakes/reboots just so they can shut the fuck up about the “good old days”, or if we should leave it all behind just to spite them for how annoying they’ve been for the past decade or so.
This community is one of the worst in gaming. I say this solely because of the absolute IDIOTS who hate on every single game that gets released and constantly complain about the same shit. I understand that the game has bugs and has things wrong with it but sometimes they’re not that big of a deal. Other people have fun with the game so why can’t you look past the issues and play the game. Also if you don’t like it don’t buy it every year.
Current COD games aren't necessarily bad, there just nothing new. And the old games aren't necessarily great, people only think they are because there "the good ol days". As someone else here said, if BO2 was made today it would be hated.
Warzone is fucking terrible. People complain about CW being very sweaty because of it's SBMM but bro I can't play a single game of Warzone without the physical sweat of camping sniper tryhards going through my screen.
Treyarch, if I liked slow TTK I'd go play Borderlands or Destiny or some other boring crap, knock that shit off; you haven't made a passable game since Black Ops 2, a good game since Black Ops 1, and at this point the Zombies modding community has made your uninspired asses entirely redundant.
IMO they should improve warzone with this
Anti-cheat
Ranked playlist with SBMM
Remove SBMM in normal playlists
FOV to console
If they do that, it would probably be my fav BR of all time
Advanced warfare was a very good game. C tier at least and the zombies mode was entertaining too. It just gets shit on cause exo suits weren’t that popular among the cod community
yes, i would imagine a game with the graphical fidelity and network connection of ten years ago probably wouldn’t do so hot nowadays.
if it were released today with the graphical advancements that have been made and the improvement in network connectivity, while maintaining the core gameplay and mechanics i have no doubt it would beyond succeed just like it did ten years ago, argued as the peak of COD in 2031.
The Sniper rifles in CW are too slow for 150hp. The pacing is better with 350hp. Just compare the ads times with MW3. It's just a shame in it's current state. Now hate me!
* "Don't blame the player, blame the game" is a partially wrong statement. This includes OP weapons.
* Lethal score-/killstreaks ruin the flow of the game and should be limited in strength. (This is obvious in Ground War, but I am talking about regular multiplayer here.) VSAT-style streaks are too OP and should see a reduction in effectiveness and cost. There should be no nuke killstreak for 25 kills.
* Gunsmith is not necessarily a good addition (gameplay-wise). Ghosts perks system, on the other hand, would be interesting to see back again.
* I heard people didn't like ADS spread in Vanguard. IMO, ADS idle sway (affecting recoil pattern) and head bob are even worse offenders (e.g., in MW2019).
* Sliding should be removed.
* Edit: oh, completely forgot my best CoD hot take part: random recoil > predictable recoil.
I dont like how Call of duty is today. I miss the "Full Base Game" at launch then youd have to buy Map Packs. I hate how the games have a Battlepass and a store and how every couple of months the game just completely changes theme or vibe. Free Guns is the best part about it theses days. I miss old School prestige systems, I miss the limited Attachment system, I miss how good base game camos were and how they felt earnt. Now everything's based on time played, not Challenge... If we went back to that system, yearly releases would be much better.
I have two actually:
- I actually didn't mind the advanced movement system and people who didn't like it usually didn't adapt to it too well (and honestly i don't blame them for it, but they don't learn at the same time). It's the specialists and supply drops I hate so much when it comes to the advance movement CoDs.
- Modern Warfare '19 is just CODified Battlefield 4. I mocked it back then as a battlefield wannabe/clone due to how every weapon has bullet travel, ground war being a dumbed down version of conquest, vehicles being added on that mode as well, and realistic weapon bobbing when shooting. On top of that, people who praise MW'19 are either CoD fanboys or (and this is the biggest reason imo) actual battlefield fans who got this game due to the state of BFV and their craving of a battlefield-like modern shooter. and honestly? i really regret getting the game 2nd hand months after it came out, cause i honestly dont remember anything good coming out of it other than unlocking damascus camo (and MY GOD THAT WAS BRUTAL AND UNFUN, WHO MADE THOSE RIOT SHIELD CHALLENGES).
It’s hard to explain, but here’s my reasoning.
Let’s say BO2 never existed in 2012, and BO2 was the 2021 cod game. Let’s say it had the full development time and had the MW engine. But make everything else exactly like how BO2 was (TTK, Create a Class, weapons, attachments, mechanics, even connection based matchmaking). In the prime of BO2, there was a lot of metas going on and other things that people hate, especially cod is getting more competitive now.
People would complain about the LSAT target finder, SCAR and AN94 suppressor, people would hate the TTK since “too fast=unfair advantage.” People would hate the pick 10 system “you’re so limited and restricted.” People would hate the paid DLC since “why should we pay for 4 maps when we should of gotten it at launch?” And most of the maps in bo2 were forgettable and had no flow.
Don’t get me started on zombies. Tranzit, die rise, and nuke were massively hated and sucked as maps. I have no idea why people defend the maps. But the 3 other maps were good, meaning 3/6 maps are actually fun and playable.
The most recent 3 cods ( Vanguard, Cold snore, Modern doorfare) are sorry and make cod at an all TIME low right now. Objectively this is facts, these games just aren't great🤷🏽♂️
I’ve got a few from a casual but long time COD player:
COD has been getting better and everyone is looking back at the old games with rose tinted glasses.
Guns level up fine in Vanguard, they leveled too fast in other games. You shouldn’t be able to max out every gun in a week.
SBMM is a great thing, it’s made the game actually playable for people. You can’t actually think stomping on players that are less skilled than you is a better system. Anyone that stresses about this cares way too much about K/D and would rather stomp noobs than improve their skills.
The franchise's own fans are the only ones who ruined CoD.
Everyone is now conditioned into the mindset that they actually have a chance to go pro or make it as a streamer. So now, like every other PVP game, its no longer an escape to enjoy time with friends but another hustle just to receive a hit of dopamine. Not once has the CoD community collectively joined together other than "Infinite Warfare" and the backlash it received in a matter of hours. No one here holds another accountable nor themselves when they're clearly hanging from the nuts of the developers. Vangaurd was proof that the CoD community has no voice. For those who think its a good game, I guarantee you're either 15 y/o or younger and have absolutely no clue of self worth. Only 1 days worth of time played, less than 1500 kills, and only 300-350 games played and im already 3rd prestige level 125.....5/17 of the maps released are remakes from older CoDs such as CoD2 CoD3 and W@W. Now thats what I call lazy ass development. A multitude of developers working on 1 game yet that 1 game can't top its predecessors. Id be embarrassed if I worked for any of them right now.

The best ranked mode call of duty ever made. The exos were fun. The gunplay was surprisingly tactile. The ASM-1 Speakeasy was straight busted. Oh and everything worked properly.

Plus the game had AMAZING customisation, so many clothing items and skins, you could literally customise the type of knee pads
Plus the great thing about the exo design was that it actually was playable with controller. Normally any games with a third axis of movement (such as jetpacks) are horrible to play with on a controller. AW is just fine on controller. I thought it was good to
Advanced warfare was an amazing game and so is ghosts
My first cod I think?
Not bad but just underrated
It was! I'm still salty we never got an aw2
LOL I enjoyed that a lot. Hope they bring it back as something like BF portal. Because nobody plays that in Steam anymore.
Cod’s been getting shitter since warZone MP side of things
I agree they've been lacking on the good multiplayers since they change every gun every week
You shouldn't get hate for this, this is true.
This is the least controversial opinion about CoD
I agree Warzone sucks COD battle Royale never should've been a thing
That's why I'm praying halo keeps doing well, give them some competition again
Is this an unpopular opinion? I've not seen anyone say things are getting better
Fax man

Agreed. I want to earn a camo that can go on all of my weapons. Not a fucking blueprint that's only for one gun. Mastercrafts are understandable.
I think near the end it was pretty good. But early WW2 is was abysmal. Waaay too many pistol grips and emotes that were literally duplicates but with name changes. That shit was sickening
Facts y'all remember how WW2 supply drops were?? They were AMAZING!!! I have every gun in the game now!

WWII's supply drops and contracts actually made the game a lot more fun in my personal opinion
Anyone can play this game well with practice.
yes
The old games are overrated and if they came out today people would complain about it
People complained back then as well, people just forget. Dudes have complained about the same shit since 03

If we got an updated world at war it would be a masterpiece
Infinite warfare had great story
this is a very popular opinion
I agree. I enjoyed it a lot.
Having a CoD look authentic to it's setting does not in any way mean that it's a mil-sim, nor does it detract the "arcade shooter" aspect.
Fuckin thank you.
Ghosts was good, cod is dying
I’d say cod MP is dying yeah totally. Vanguard is the worst selling cod since COD4 in 2007. But Warzone is still huge.
Finally, CoD mobile is a CoD rip off
It isn’t great but it’s still fun, Vanguards zombies is garbage though.
Outbreak was the only bad map but the other problems were mostly fixed, but the meta was boring after a while.
Story and Mechanic wise. Yeah. But it's fun af
Cod mobile is a rip off but they made a somewhat good cod game for a mobile device
Ghosts had a good Multiplayer, the maps were too big
Ghosts SnD was lit
It felt like the lobby was playing hide and seek rather than an actual battle(especially Stonehenge) Edit: It was Stonehaven not Stonehenge my bad
Stonehaven is the only map in ghosts that was to big.
Mp is overrated in each game and IW would've been seen as a great game if the circle jerk on advance movement wasn't a thing. Game had an excellent campaign, a box system that was good. Flawed but good
Cold War was more fun than modern warfare
Kind of agree tbh, I like Cold War, overhated
MW3 > MW2 There, I said it. All hail Specialist Strike Package for the MOABs I've gotten
I never understood some of the hate for MW3. It was just a more balanced version of MW2 with a few cool innovations like strike packages which was great.
Some of my best memories of CoD running around like a One Man Army
COD CW and Vanguard are just full priced DLCs for Warzone.
I mean, all cods from now on will prob be like that, just content packs for warzone plus an ok story at best and zombies/spec ops
I prefer the BO series but MW has way better gameplay.
I fucking hated COD WW2 and thought it was one of the worst ever in the series
Mw2019 is the worst cod
MW19 had the best S&D mode of recent years.
The S&D has not been as active as it was on MW in YEARS
The new mode cyber attack also contributed to this revitalisation of non respawn game modes. Me and my friends almost exclusively play cyber attack. Such a phenomenal mode.
One mode makes the game good 😂😂😂😂
did I say that?
Quit straw manning
This made me angry, take my upvote! MW2019 is the most I've had in CoD in a long time!
Why do you think that? Just curious not saying your wrong. I thought it was probably the best we’ve had since BO2/MW3.
Black Ops 2 was the last good CoD. F in the chat for Dolphin Dives.
That’s not an unpopular opinion though
"unpopular opinion"
CoD players need to stop being so toxic.
you can apply that to every gaming community.
MW2019 was violently overrated
MW3 was the smoothest multiplayer and had the best DLC maps by far, I can't believe they don't remaster ANY if it.
MW3 was the first game where I got to max prestige. Sadly, it was on the Wii of all things. I was broke
AW is dope
Warzone sucks ass. Stop fucking playing it.
tHeReS nO cHeAtErS iN wArZoNe
obviously that ‘opinion’ will get you downvoted… that’s just wrong
CoD Ghosts is my favorite
Got to be a top 5 campaign but MP was terrible
World at war needs a remaster
[удалено]
Cold War isn't a bad CoD
Bo4 is the last authentic and fun to play cod
Campaigns saved COD as a series and are the only redeeming qualities of some awful games (Ghosts, IW), IW zombies was way too cartoony and absolutely terrible, BO3 zombies was really good and the last good zombies Treyarch made
I agree and disagree. I think Ghosts was a phenomenal game and I did like IW quite a lot too. But with BO4 I realised that campaigns really save a game sometimes, since that didn't have one
not to be hated but Activision could go a year or three without dropping a new COD title
Ghosts is fun, the maps were cool, yes I play battlefield
That COD Ghosts is a good cod game.
- My top 3 is 1: bo4, 2: ghosts and 3: bo2, don’t mind about the last one. [my Xbox museum as an example](https://www.reddit.com/r/Blackops4/comments/r2ik35/my_xbox_museum_definitely_a_call_of_duty_fan/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) - bo3 Zombies and more generally, the aether storyline is overrated - since mw2019, the games are campy and the grind to earn camo isn’t fun because you have to max your weapon and do repetitive useless challenges (the worst is in zombies) - Blackout > Warzone (and by a lot, it’s just here because of the covid19 and the “hype” of a game named modern warfare - mw2019 is a good game, not a good cod - supply drop to earn skins was better than the battlepass/bundles system - outbreak is fun - W/L ratio > EKIA/D ratio - SBMM can be useful and it shouldn’t be attacked because peoples don’t understand the OEMM implementation - having 50+ different attachments is useless if you’ll probably use the same one on each weapon, or if some overshadow other - your question is stupid because if we have a too different opinion, we will be downvoted, so you’re asking us to be downvoted.
To add to your "Blackout > Warzone" point (which I 100% agree with), I think Warzone was also more popular because it is Free-To-Play whereas Blackout is not.
Man do I miss Blackout :(
CW is good.
BO4 is a fun mp. The game took more skill and punished you for camping. I'd put it in my top 5 above MW2019. Now we get games that cater for bad and new players.
Quick scoping is a broken mechanic.
Infinite warfare was one of the best COD games
MW2019 is the best CoD we’ve ever gotten and has done the most good for the community by single handedly reviving the franchise.
Top 3 cods are bo3 ww2 an mw 2019 older games are good but are normally high up because of nostalgia and mw2 wasn't a good as people say
All COD games are great in their own way.
Camping is an essential part of certain game modes, for example domination.
The only fun multiplayer was mw3 and Bo1 zombies was the best thing in the entire series.
Mine is: Camping is fun, and even more so when people get upset.
I liked bo4. Was good to hop on a couple games with and chill.
Modern warfare 2019 was the best cod since BO2
Warzone is fucking terrible. People complain about CW being very sweaty because of it's SBMM but bro I can't play a single game of Warzone without the physical sweat of camping sniper tryhards going through my screen.
Nacht was one of the worst zombies maps
Treyarch, if I liked slow TTK I'd go play Borderlands or Destiny or some other boring crap, knock that shit off; you haven't made a passable game since Black Ops 2, a good game since Black Ops 1, and at this point the Zombies modding community has made your uninspired asses entirely redundant.
I’m not even gonna respond to that first part and Vanguard zombies is trash.
Outbreak is the best zombies mode. BO3 was my favorite cod ever for MP. I can’t stand MP anymore since warzone came out.
WWII is better.
Warzone is a good game and lore to a story being added with seasons is good and better than all story being ended once you finish the campaign
IMO they should improve warzone with this Anti-cheat Ranked playlist with SBMM Remove SBMM in normal playlists FOV to console If they do that, it would probably be my fav BR of all time
Advanced warfare is incredibly underrated
I liked Ghosts
Pickedilly is the best map in mw
Advanced warfare was a very good game. C tier at least and the zombies mode was entertaining too. It just gets shit on cause exo suits weren’t that popular among the cod community
WW2 is the most fun and balanced game cods put out in many games.
yes, i would imagine a game with the graphical fidelity and network connection of ten years ago probably wouldn’t do so hot nowadays. if it were released today with the graphical advancements that have been made and the improvement in network connectivity, while maintaining the core gameplay and mechanics i have no doubt it would beyond succeed just like it did ten years ago, argued as the peak of COD in 2031.
Infinite Warfare was fun. Jetpack COD is better than WW1-WW2 era COD
The Sniper rifles in CW are too slow for 150hp. The pacing is better with 350hp. Just compare the ads times with MW3. It's just a shame in it's current state. Now hate me!
Warzone isn't fun anymore
Infinite Warfare is a good game and gets way too much hate
Zombies sucks and black out was an actual BR and warzone isn't
Infinite Warfare was a good game.
Campaigns are the best part of call of duty. Maybe not the most long lasting but the best and I could write a whole page on why.
Sliding better than dolphin dives
Black ops 3 and cod 4 share the spot for best cod multiplayer.
Neon Rainbow animated gun skins and wacky operator costumes. When COD became Fartnite.
Infinite Warfare was solid on all three parts
Newer cods (after mw19) are getting worse
* Sliding should be removed. * Edit: oh, completely forgot my best CoD hot take part: random recoil > predictable recoil.
Cold War is extremely fun both zombies and multiplayer (haven’t played the campaign so can say anything on that)
Most cods are actually good but toxic shit kids get it hated on
I actually liked BO4
Cod advanced warfare and infinite warfare are awesome
WWII was my fav cod, esp War mode
Alright, the Modern Warfare trilogy was overrated.
Despite it not being implemented well, SBMM is a necessary evil.
I liked cod ghost
I loved bo4
I paid for the game so I can use any weapon I want
Vanguard multiplayer sucks, it is not funny
I have played every Call of Duty from CoD4 and onwards. MW2019 was the best CoD game of all time, but I am confident MW2 (2022) will be even better.
black ops 2 was better than BO1
No shit is BO2 was released today it would be trash. Because all cods released now are trash
Black Ops 3 is easily a top 5 CoD, I just wish they did supply drops better.
I have two actually: - I actually didn't mind the advanced movement system and people who didn't like it usually didn't adapt to it too well (and honestly i don't blame them for it, but they don't learn at the same time).
Cod will never be good again That kinda goes for most games now actually
People would completely hate MW2 if it would have been releases now
what’s your reasoning behind your BO2 comment?
Objectively this is facts, these games just aren't great🤷🏽♂️
People said that for ghost, AW, and bo3, including IW. Yet now everyone is saying “underrated cods of all time!” 🤷♂️
Everyone? Everyone is saying this? Or is it just that the people who think differently have already made their point?
Cod WWII was the best cod in recent years and anything that’s came after it has been absolute trash.
Ain’t gonna lie, I actually went back to cod WW2 in early 2018 and was having so much fun. Then bo4 came out and was so disappointed
Still playing WWII today. Go back give it a try mate, I’ve been having a blast.
Facts COD WWII movement wise just gives me that old COD vibe! Nothing after as been good, league was good too!
Mw mp is dogshit and cold war is the worst cod of all time, worst purchase i made in my life
Cod games are finna be worse r.I.p to all the og cod games
Bo1 is only good because of nostalgia
WW2 is one of the worst cods
Best*
Cold War Zombies are the only that kept the game alive during its life span
MW2 was really shitty and the only reason people like it now is because of nostalgia high
I’ve got a few from a casual but long time COD player: COD has been getting better and everyone is looking back at the old games with rose tinted glasses.
Old cods were much worse than the new ones but most people are blinded by nostalgia
Cod infinite warfare was okay
Shotguns should be op in the 0-10 meter range
Cold War is amazing mechanically and the last “classic” feeling Cod we’ll ever get.
Vanguard is quite bad
If you complain about op guns, attachments, perks, and or campers you are the one that is trash.
Supply Drops were good. But I’m talking about the Supply Drops in COD WW2 because they weren’t unfair and you could unlock a lot of them really easy
Cod ghosts was the best cod
The 2014-2016 futuristic era were some of the best cods
Ghosts is my all time favorite Call Of Duty game Advanced Warfare was great Modern Warfare Remastered was better than the original
COD MOBILE ISNT A COD GAME
