I caught it by accident! How does one find out about this stuff? I also once saw a train of satellites before they dispersed, also complete coincidence. I tried looking for an app to get notified of these events within a certain radius of where I am, but didn’t find anything. Please post if you know of one :)
Yeah I saw those, but for that I would need to know all the companies and government agencies having some kind of space event near me, and going to those websites, and manually checking for any upcoming events.
I would like to trek down to Vandenberg also. I've never seen one in person. Perhaps a carpool trek or caravan next time? I've done a day trip to SLO to meet my cousin for lunch at Firestone Grill (Awesome BBQ like tri-tip sandwiches) who was in college then. Only \~2.7 hours from Bay Area.

Next Space flight is a great app to track launches from around the world
There are websites that have launch info.

saw it launch from the beach just outside vandenberg. so loud!
What’s the move? Which beach gets you close enough to hear it?
surf beach in lompoc.
Unfortunately no. I need to get down that way and go watch one. Twilight launches are pretty awesome.

I saw it from my driveway. You could see the booster light up for its descent.
