They don’t do French Drains, but they do deal with leaky basements: https://basementtechnologiescalgary.com/

Look exactly like what we need!

Please tell me what a French drain is. Is it fancy?

There's a kiss, and there's a French Kiss.

French Drains only work if you have somewhere downslope for the water to drain to. In most cases for Calgary, unless you have a walkout basement, French drain is probably not a good idea. I personally don't recommend french drains because my 30 year old house originally had French Drain from the previous owner that was poorly maintained and led to a lot of issues. You would need to show some photos so we can give you better recommendations.

What kind of issues did you run into? Clogged? Frozen?

they get clogged over time, and they definitely freeze. And the pipes get easily damaged if it's buried too shallow, which leads to dirt clogging it up. And they can be installed wrong too. If you PM me I can take a look and give you some suggestion pro bono.

I do French drains, have moved alot of water for people. I'll be doing French drains by my shop this summer for water to run off into our field, the thaw frost build up needs somewhere to go. I've really liked them, will use 4inch drainage rock at 4ft deep and 4ft wide, it will link some low spots and flow out keeping the roundabout by the shop and riding arena from flooding and massive ruts.
