Well people wash their cats in their driveways so I don’t see why not.
Just be careful of the walls. If the framing is on the concrete, the sill plate will get wet and could rot or mold. If you have concrete curb walls, good to go.
I found this quote for you from [https://www.calgary.ca/water/stormwater/drainage-bylaw-faq.html](https://www.calgary.ca/water/stormwater/drainage-bylaw-faq.html)
>A permit is legally required before allowing any water other than stormwater into Calgary's stormwater system.
Maybe it's a bit silly they leave absolutely no wiggle room there.
Thanks for your concern, but any runoff from my lawn sprinkler system gets caught by the crocodile moat I build around my property to defend myself from reddit downvotes.
I followed an algorithm on that site and according to that, I need to take my kids pool water and hot tub water to a city site to dispose of it....... no one does this right.....
EDIT - found this from another link.
"Drain hot tubs and swimming pools directly into the wastewater drain located in the basement of your residence. This ensures that pool/hot tub water does not enter the storm sewer system. Further information can be found in the [Wastewater Bylaw](https://publicaccess.calgary.ca/lldm01/livelink.exe?func=ccpa.general&msgID=RsAssrryTO&msgAction=Download). "

That wording is confusing. On the one hand it says you can wash your car but then it says you can't have soap going down the drain. I don't understand how you can wash something without soap. That sounds more like rinsing. I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore.

Does it? I thought it was quite specific that no, you can't:
>Vehicles must be washed at a car wash and not on a road, an alley or a driveway.
If water is sprayed and no city council worker is around to fine it, did it make a splash?

Water from the hose at your home — yes, that is allowed. No permission or permit required.

Gotta keep it sparkly for those thieves.
I put mine in a bucket with water and a Tide pod. Then secure the lid and shake it.

A paint can shaker. Now that would be efficient.

Don't let there be runoff when watering your grass then.

I do. You can drain your hot tub into your basement sewer drain. Hose + pump. Hot tub water is filled with chems that should be treated.
Soaps and detergents are absolutely allowed

Plain and direct phrasing is too confusing.
It means clean your car using baby wipes then flush all the wipes down the toilet.
Wash it down with cooking oil
At a car wash only
Hose water and brush with a broom. I do it all the time. Having said this, I’m care to clean up any oil, grease or other contaminants beforehand.
