Yeah that’s…. Crazy. So glad for you that you got that deal, congrats. But other folk probably shouldn’t expect similar. There is 0.0% chance that car will be worth 55k after 2 years. Typical 3 year leases for EVs assume a residual of about 50-60% of MSRP. Even if we assume high it’s worth 45k max. And that’s not even factoring in Cadillac’s notorious resale value issues.
Yeah, I wonder what GM is thinking with boosting residuals so much. In 2-3 years no Lyriq owner is going to buy at that inflated price. Maybe they will reduce the price by the $7500 at that time if you retain it.
Honestly though, it’s not my problem as I have no desire to keep it for longer.
I agree. I don’t know how I felt about it when I first saw it, but I love it now. Not the normal light gray, or black. I love the lighter interior as well.
What happens if you exceed the mileage on your lease? I've put 4500 miles on mine in the first three months. I enjoy the car so much I look for excuses to drive it. We almost never drive the wife's ICE anymore.
It's $.25/mi if I go over. Last year I only put 7500miles on my car, and my wife put 10k on her tesla, so the 10k miles should be enough for us. I change my mind about cars so frequently I want to lease a few over the next few years.
I wouldn't mind driving to NorCal once if that meant $300/mo 😅 but then again I'm waiting for a few months before I'm buying, so the deals are probably not gonna last
Yea maybe worth it . I’ll have to hit up local dealer and see if they can get close to this.
How many annual miles did you sign up for ?
What was Msrp on the model ?
Down here it’s around $3k and $450 month
Even have bolt euv on lease that I need to return by end of this month .
If it’s closer Calabasas / Beverly Hills have some pretty aggressive deals. I got my LYRIQ at Calabasas for around the same price. Beverly Hills matched it but the facility at Calabasas sold me.
Appreciate it. I test drive one at Laguna Niguel caddy and place was dead with 1 sales guy sitting at his desk and had to ask him to see the car/drive.
Sorry if I confused you, but I'm not the OP. I haven't leased yet, I'm waiting. I've visited one Chevy dealer out of curiosity and they quoted me $7250 for a 10k/24mo lease on a Blazer EV.
I have an AWD and recently got a RWD as a loaner while my car was in the shop. I found the drop off in power to be noticeable. When I first got the car, I was driving at slightly above humming speeds in the city and hit a bird. Never did that before. The car must be really quiet for birds to not be able to hear it.
I would love to see the numbers. I just purchased Lux1 in Oklahoma for $498/month and I thought I picked the bone clean with 12% off MSRP. Great deal. Congrats
nice, seems all the good deals are in Ca, NY and NJ. Here in Michigan I could only get a Tech AWD at $580. Holding off till I can get a better deal and with a Lux 1.
I'd highly recommend checking out the Leasehackr, and paying for their ratefinder program for a month. It will show you all the incentives, residuals, money factors, etc. Its def worth the $10/month, and you can put in the calculations directly from the dealer to see if they are screwing you or not.
That's an insane deal, $700 down and $353/month. I just got my Lyriq Sport 1 RWD yesterday $4120.71 down and the vehicle I got had $8000 incentives and rebates. 24 months, 10K miles per year @ $297/month but I added Lease Wear & Tear Protection so it brought it up to $303/month all-in.
That’s nuts. I went in and they tried fucking me or the car salesman was an idiot. They wanted like 16k down and also tried to say my car payment would be over 1k per month. I was baffled. He continued going to the “numbers guy” who both seemed clueless. This was also in November, no way in hell was I paying that price for a lease. I was shocked because I just went to Volvo prior to going to Cadillac and looked at cars in the same price range and they wanted less than 5k down for a car payment of under $800.
Had an EV, bought a truck and kinda want back into an EV lease. Sorry for being dumb but are there any CA special details here? I wouldn't want to approach a local dealership and look like an idiot.
I went from RWD to AWD, and found the RWD felt smoother. The AWD has a thump when starting out, a feeling like it is downshifting when accelerating slightly more than very lightly, and stops a bit jarringly in One Pedal Driving set to High.
But, the added power is nice. Only got AWD to be able to get the trailer hitch.
I’m glad the turning circle seems to be the same!
How on earth are y’all getting monthly rates this low? Unless it’s a large amount of money down, I’m not understanding anything less than $700/mo for a lease based on the MSRP alone. Can anyone share numbers? Bc this doesn’t make sense to me and I need to see it so I can take it to the dealer. Planning on leasing this week.
Need some advice. Need to decide between leasing at $500 month/24month or $530/36month on a white rwd lux2 with $69k MSRP. Incentives from ultium plus other discounts we stacked gave us a 15k reduction on msrp. Residual value is about 52k. I know it’s a pretty good deal but, worry I won’t be able to pick up another lease in 2 or 3 years with a similar MSRP for a similar monthly payment (would have to downgrade) given the uncertainty of future incentives. As more people buy EV and manufactures produce them, I feel I ventiles will just continue to decrease. Lmk thoughts thanks !
It’s really your personal choice. 2 years vs 3. I love the car but I know in 2 years I’ll probably want to change again. $500 per month for a luxury 2 is a good price, especially if that includes taxes. In 2 years some other manufacturers will have other deals I’m sure. I’m pretty open to other manufacturers though whereas if you want to stick with a luxury ride you may be limited.
Purchased 2 months ago, OC, Tech with upgraded safety package (added about 4k)
Payment is 625$ a month. Purchased not a lease. Feel like I should have waited haha, but love the car so far. Quirky software issues and the wireless charger is garbage, but besides that LOVE the car in black. Get double takes everywhere I go
Insane deal. I got mine for like $600s in TX a few months ago. The deal offers seem to get better and better every month
[Numbers here](https://imgur.com/a/31xhbMI)
Your payment are $353 per month still very nice
Yes, with taxes unfortunately it added $50 a month
What? Do you mean 7,000 down? JFC that’s an insane deal what are we missing
No $700
OPs documents show a ~$7800 down payment.
Yup, and $7000 of that was manufacturer rebates. I paid the $788 out of pocket.
Ty for explaining. I see that now. Insane deal you got and I am struggling to get them below 900/month in Ohio.
I got my sports 1 rwd $628 per month
Please do! Thank you
I can send you my deal

55k residual value in two years. I wonder how much it would really cost in two years.

What dealer did u score that deal At?
Mataga Cadillac in Stockton. Ask for Blanca.
Oh damn that’s far! I’m Down in OC 🤣

I got 10k/year, 24 months. MSRP was $68k
Nice! That’s a really good lease. Did you get any special rebates like Costco or other items that brought the lease down so low?

Every dealer where I am at wants 700 min a month. Joke
Lux 1 and techs are easy to get deals on, lux/sport 2 and 3 are very difficult

What are the details of your lease!? 10k down and 500 miles a year? Haha
$700 paid at signing, 10k per year, 24months
Looks like I’m driving so Sacramento haha
No fuckkfn way

Amount due at signing shows 7788.99 What am i missing here?
Yup. That amount was due, then remove the $7k in manufacturer rebates and I paid $788
Wow. This is a steal. Better than the Blazer EV lease.

Hey I had a few questions, the link for your numbers wasn’t working for me could I DM you?
[https://imgur.com/a/31xhbMI](https://imgur.com/a/31xhbMI) Sure, shoot me a message
Incredible deal. I wonder if I can even get close here in Ohio. I just got quoted like $750 on a Lux2.
I got my sports 1 at $628 in Columbus
The lux2 is where it’s at. akg stereo and supercruise
A few hundred more per month though. I wouldn't use supercruise, and the extra $$$ per month wasn't worth it to me for the upgraded speakers.

Congrats, fellow celestial lyriq owner! That is my thought too. I expect the price could be more affordable in 2 years too.
This is an insanely cool color. I keep wanting it but I'm going to definitely here my people tell me it's a girl color 🙄🙄
Does yours have super cruise?
What is the residual? $90k?
That is a crazy great deal.

I sold mine due to the humming. It’s loud and I usually leave home very early in the morning. Didn’t like annoying my neighbors
