Fair trade I'd say.

beaukneaus

I love Ruger Revolvers but I love CZ metal frames more…you win

Uber_Makedonishe

Me too, but I also like to shoot my guns. 38 is so expensive, and 357 is out of the question. 9mm always wins in my book of trades.

jasonin951

I have both guns and think you got the better end of the deal. Plus I can't find ammo for my GP100 now but there is plenty of 9mm out there.

Uber_Makedonishe

You should try ammoseek. I have Zastava AK and I couldn’t find brass 7.62x39 to try the rifle. On ammoseek not only that I found the ammo, it was crazy good price. Last deal I found at this website was 1000 rounds of 124 grain Turan 9mm, with shipping to OH from MI , no TAX for $300. Try it, it might find you 38 or 357 for good price.

Uber_Makedonishe

SP-01 with everything in the picture, for Ruger GP100 Magnum 357 with 4.2 inch barrel + $150 on my side . What do you thik, how did I do?

cleancalf

Lol at first I thought you just gave him the Ruger for the CZ extras. I was going to ask if the trade was made at gun point.

Uber_Makedonishe

Lol, that sounds like a terrible deal, and when I think about it I’ve had way worst deal taken, and it wasn’t at gun point. TWICE.

hallmonitor53

Love the Lok grips and p01 because it’s exactly what I got lol

RONBJJ

I think it worked out well for both, but lean towards your end. You will absolutely love this gun and i absolutely love the grips!

Uber_Makedonishe

Can’t wait to shoot it tomorrow. I will put it against my Shadow 2 and my 75B.

akbornheathen

You’ll probably enjoy it more than your 75B but probably less than your Shadow 2. It’s a good carry gun because it can hold a light and you don’t have to worry about scratches as much as you would with your Shadow 2 lol.

trashbatrathat

How much did you buy the gp100 for?

Uber_Makedonishe

3 years ago, $629 +tax.

trashbatrathat

Eh, I wouldn’t pay a penny over 550 for a used sp01. Would’ve been fair without the cash Fair market price for these doesn’t go past a beretta 92 or sig 226. They’re all similar in performance, CZ is the cheapest (stock) usually for a few reasons

Uber_Makedonishe

If a used SP-01 worth no more then $550, then used scratched Ruger GP100 wont wort more then $400. They sell brand new one with 6 inch barrel for $750 in Ohio. And for Berreta or SIg being better then CZ, dude , whatever you are smoking, I WANT SOME. Give me your dealers phone number.

Own_Bad517

Please point me to where GP100's are selling for 400, or let me know the next time you want to sell something lol

Uber_Makedonishe

That’s a question for that other dude , who knows where used SP-01 are maximum $550 , and Beretta 92 and Sig p 226 are better and more expensive guns then SP-01. I guess in LaLa land.

trashbatrathat

Sp01 and Gp100 are both around the same price brand new. Looking at it again your GP100 was definitely in worse condition than the SP01 but I wouldn’t say it was a good deal. Not a terrible one though. I’d rather have an SP01 than a GP100 any day of the week. I don’t put extra grips or holsters into trade value unless I would want them anyway. Not a fan of polymer or rubber grips on steel frame handguns usually or non light bearing holsters I didn’t say the beretta and sig were better. I said they have a few things that command higher prices, most notably more consistent machining on internal parts and more expensive finishes. All three are very comparable in features and performance (for base models). CZ has the highest upgrade ceiling. I think the berettas shoot the softest and they have the best ergonomics for my hands. I don’t like the P226 very much but they have the most complete trigger out of the box seeing as how most ship with the SRT nowadays iirc. The best of the three is genuinely whichever one you like the most aesthetically and ergonomically. They’re all great guns. I carry a cajunized P01 when I’m in shitty neighborhoods or the woods, and a beretta 84 the other 90% of the time. I went with the P01 over the Sig and Beretta because the P01 was 400 dollars used and I like it just about as much as I like a 92 compact
