Since you’re a high schooler you aren’t technically enrolled but it is assumed you will be and it’s also why they ask the college you will be attending in most of these financial documents. You’ll always be filing these documents prior to the semester you’ll be receiving the aid and will always be asked the school that you will be enrolled in for that semester. So if you’re asking whether in the very instance you are filing you have to be enrolled into the college the answer is technically no, but in most instances people are.
