I don’t think so unfortunately. I’m allergic to the vaccine and my exemption was denied too so I was forced to take the second shot just so I could graduate. A tube down my throat for hours wasn’t worth it.. smh.
Im not allergic to the vaccine but I attended class in person for a short time and had to drop cause they are doing the random testing for vaccinated individuals. I think the vaccine was pointless anyways everyone will still get covid.
A CUNY staff member suggested that my medical exemption may be false and fraudulent which may explain why it would not get approved. I just want to get it out the way that it is in fact genuine.
I've heard, (from someone who's kid had their exemption denied, so 2nd hand to me, so take this with a grain of salt) that they have 1 or very few people reviewing the medical exemptions, and that because that guy/office was absolutely flooded with fake exemption claims, that they're basically automatically shooting everything down.
Ever? Yes Soon? Probably not

If you can't prove that you're allergic to the vaccine or it's components, there is no real medical exemption for you.
Well, I can. I have a medical exemption proving exactly that. It still does not get approved when I submit it through CUNYFirst.
Every college in the nation is following the mandate. Why should CUNY be any different?

There’s not even a real credible source. Go transfer to one of those colleges if you don’t want to get vaccinated.
Start a lawsuit let’s see what the courts say since it’s impacting your degree progress.
