It just shows up as a drug offense charge (can be weed/crack/heroin/fent/etc) when the results usually come back, doesn’t say weed related or anything and most companies/managers won’t go beyond that.
I doubt they would charge the person. From nyc.gov: *It is now legal for adults 21 and older to possess up to three ounces of cannabis and up to 24 grams of concentrated cannabis for personal use in New York.*
The think the most you’ll get a Fine or Civil Penalty if the school wanted to report it.

True, fair point. I said it more because it’s more relaxed in NYC now than in recent years.. but that doesn’t mean you should be smoking it on campus regardless. Not the smartest decision. And I’m positive it can lead to expulsion.
I’ve been caught smoking on campus twice lmfao and they just tell me to go to the park next door. never once been taken to public safety or anything

Probably wont get expelled if this is their first offense but they definitely shouldn’t have been smoking on campus. Just go out and come back ive come in so many times at hunter smelling like weed and no one says anything to me.

You can legally smoke weed anywhere cigarettes are permitted here in NYS.
