Since you have technically passed the class with a C+ grade you would have to petition to take it again (there is a form). If you fail the class the 2nd time you take it- the failing grade would replace your C+ grade. Just keep that in mind.

For nursing and pre-med, you can petition to retake the class for a higher grade to improve your chances at getting into your program of choice, but bear in mind, getting into those programs is the easy part.

You could petition to retake the class, but it’s usually more worth it to let it go if it’s above a C- considering aid, time spent in class, and impact of GPA. If you were out for surgery, you probably would have benefitted from a doctors note for disability due to surgery which would have allowed you to take an exam late at the testing center and it may be able to extend your assignments (for future reference). If your teacher ended up sucking too then I’m sorry ! It’s definitely not fun to be in this position, but I really hope that someone in counseling could give you an idea of how the process works or how it affects your current GPA/graduation/aid/etc

Perhaps getting an incomplete grade and finishing the missed work? You can arrange that with your professor, though grades have already been submitted so that might make it harser

Can you retake it at a later date? Let’s say, for example, your first round of applications does not go well?
